Sounded like a locking collar was loose on my way up form LA. Spent a long time looking for a shop to wire up a third brake light on my rare aftermarket Mugen spoiler on my 1998 Honda Prelude. The wiring on the spoiler was not compatible with the wiring on my car. I went to different shops around town to see if they would try to do the wiring but they all rejected me. Then when I thought there was no hope, I came across R&R today and Ryan told me he would do it without hesitation. Long story short, 30 minutes later (waiting in their comfy waiting room) it was all done. Hands down the best shop experience I have ever had. Most mechanic shops don't even have a clean space for customers to sit at. If these guys care that much about their customers, that says a lot about how much they care about the cars they work on. I ordered a full HID Retro kit for my 2012 Maxima and I was having a hard time finding anyone in all of Santa Barbara that was willing to do them. I got so frustrated that I was willing to drive down to Ventura to get the kit installed. The process involves removing the headlights and baking them open to rebuild the interior light to become HID. I was ready to return the kit and on my very last try I found RR Motorworks. Ryan was responsive and knowledgeable. Communication is top notch from these guys. The price was right on par with anyone that bothered to return my calls but the service put these guys a cut above. They were very accommodating with my schedule. Picked my car up. The job looked well done. The lights lit up the night. My cars battery died on a FRIDAY AFTERNOON at home. Called shops to see if they can help me out. The only shop that was willing and came out was R & R Motorworks. The younger guy was really nice and knowledgable. Pricing was not too bad. Not to expensive although not cheap, definitely get what you pay for. These guys know what they are doing. He also talked me into buying and having them install an HID kit. Although they specialize more in building show/ track cars. This was a nice gesture. If I need wheels or auto customizing. They are a custom Motorsport shop but they will still give you professional service with some general maintenance duties. They have this bomb waiting room with Netflix and wifi.
