If you like your vehicle the way it is, don't rent here…read more Here is the TLDR: Their garage door ripped the antenna off of our vehicle and they did not replace it. We aren't the only people this happened to either! Their contract releases the owner of ANY liability, even due to their own negligence. Read on for the full story. When you pull up to their garages you can type in a code to open the door. Oftentimes, you pull up and the garage is already open. My wife and I were pulling up one day to grab some stuff out of the unit. When we pulled up, We opened the door to one garage and there were already 2 cars inside but the other side only had 1 car. That door was already open. I pulled up and started reversing in. I was focusing on the sides so as to not hit the car on 1 side and the yellow pole on the other. I was backing in slowly and carefully then all of a sudden we heard a loud scraping sound. We pulled in and got out to check what had happened and saw that the garage door had closed on the top of our vehicle and ripped our antenna out of it's holder. It even scratched some of our paint. The manager, William, came out and took a report. After a week had gone by and I had not heard anything from them, I called to follow up. The manager, Jill Gauger, called me back the next day. She basically acted surprised that we were asking them to cover the damage. She even tried to say that we "gunned it" as we were reversing. When I challenged her on that she told me she would send me the video. I received the video and it was from another car that this happened to in April of 2022! So this has happened before and they still have not fixed their equipment.She then sent me a copy of the contract that releases the owner of any liability even due to their own negligence. I then responded to her and said that, aside from the contract, it would just be good business for someone to fix what they broke. I sent her an estimate and never heard back from her. Then, I sent her another one just to fix the antenna and she responded that they were not going to pay for anything. I gave my 10 day notice. We are not going to keep supporting a business that will literally damage our stuff and not fix it.
