The new owners... - please take my advice and run don't walk. *The storage unit has gone up approximately $75 a month since they took over. (maybe a year ago) *They will send you a notification in the morning and literally hours later THE SAME DAY attempt to tell you are "past due". Then they will text you and say they are going to charge a late fee. if you literally do not immediately submit payment- ALL ON THE DAY ITS DUE- they will attach a late fee. * I was away when the unit was due one month. With the former owner this was no problem. A simple call and there were no problems. I was 3 days late. so day 1 it was due, 2nd day didn't pay. 3rd day I remembered when I sent someone there to pick something up for me and they called and said it was locked. it was the afternoon of day 3. Yes, it was my fault for forgetting to pay it. i take responsibility for that. I Called to make the payment and had to go through an 800#. Not the owners in Zelie. ok. They had no idea where this unit was or who the owners were. They also went by a different company name. They were however nice so in my frustration I guess that helped. They told me they lock the units when they are 3 days late but that she saw my unit was locked yesterday. (meaning 2 days) . She could not understand or explain it & apologized. I paid the bill. She gave me the code to unlock the lock. She was helpful and as we talked a few minutes she said THEY GO IN YOUR UNIT IF LATE 3 DAYS AND TAKE PICTURES OF YOUR THINGS. These pictures are kept in your file if they ever need to sell/auction your items. I was floored. I thought surely she was wrong. I called back 2 additional times - told all 3 times this is what they do. So you have no idea when they go in, because the 800# had no idea why the Zelienople facility was doing things the way they were. you do not receive notification this will be done. You have no idea how many people have been in rummaging through your things or if things were taken - its your word against theirs... * additionally for months it felt like the shell game as charges for my unit were billed to different company names. it was storage depot, Zelienople mini storage, storage point.... So you go to pay on their site- you are paying Zelienople mini storage. The page changes to a different name and your credit card will say something else. I didn't like this at all. It felt shady and it wasn't just one time. I understand sometimes you have to use a storage unit as I did... but don't use this one. Save yourself the headache.

OK, before anyone freaks out here with the 5-star review, I hired these guys to move about 600 sqft…read moreof oak flooring (~1,800 pounds) from my garage to the room above my garage. No packing, wrapping, boxing, or prep work required. Just the stairmaster-from-hell. And they had to be careful not to damage the walls going up a stairway with a U-turn landing while carrying 60 lb bundles of 7' flooring. The two gentlemen they sent were great, got to work right away, and moved the entire batch in exactly one hour. I could not be happier. My back REALLY could not be happier (I moved the first 600 sqft myself and am still paying the price). Zero complaints, good hard but careful work. I will give you a caution when you set this up. The first estimate you get will be nice and low. As you move through the system, times and costs will grow. Gently remind them of the original quote for # of hours, minimum travel time, materials, etc. that you received. I did and they honored their original estimate. They had added a materials charge which I had them remove (giving them the benefit of the doubt, it's a large-ish company and whoever was processing my final invoice probably didn't get read-on to what the job entailed). So, no vases to pack, no mattresses to move, hence I can't judge them on that. But they accommodated my schedule, came when they said they would, did a great job, and charged me the amount I was promised. I would absolutely use them again for this type of job. My back agrees.
