First time to purchase shucked oysters from here. I gave three stars because a Very nice lady was at the desk and a nice young man loaded a 5# container of oysters. However, When I opened oysters to prepare for consumption I found the "foot" of the oyster was still attached to the full 5# container. This is a hard chewy part of the oyster; it's not edible in my opinion. In order to eat these oysters I had to cut the foot away from each one. Very disappointing as this accounted for almost a pound of the meat! read more

We were looking for some good quality and fresh oysters to eat raw and grill. After searching the internet and maps I found this business. When we arrived it was a huge warehouse and I knew we had found a great place. The staff was super helpful and friendly, but that was only the beginning. When we got home we were in for a treat!! These were the freshest best tasting oysters we had ever had. We bought the 80 lb bag of green banded oysters and they were perfect!! We will definitely use R & A exclusively for our oysters in the future. read more

Got a great deal on 100# sack of oysters. Best oysters I've had in several years. Salty, sweet and fresh off the boat. Wish they had a location closer to my home so I could take advantage of their offerings on a more regular basis. read more

Great place to pick up oysters for your party or BBQ. The thing that makes this place different from any other oyster place is it's product. They sell a HPP (High Pressure Processed) oyster. It is still raw, but putting it under 50,000 psi kills the Vibrio virus, and makes it super easy to shuck. They also sell shucked oysters in a pint/quart/gallon buckets. Very nice for any that do not want to mess with shucking. read more
