Oh man ... I don't like leaving a bad review for small salons, especially since I wanted this to be my new salon since moving to the area in October. But I have to leave this review. The ladies were nice, but this is the worst quality salon work I've ever had and it makes me upset how much money I wasted and that this was the manicure and pedicure I had for my anniversary celebration. I went for gel manicure and gel pedicure on Friday, November 19. My gel manicure is already toast just a week later. Three of my nails are severely chipped and since they didn't do a good job removing my cuticles, the start of the grow out looks awful. Super disappointing. They also do dry cuticle removal, which was the first time I've had that done and I wouldn't do that again. I'm sure they'll say it's better for your cuticles, but it doesn't do the job. Also, the colors I picked out for the manicure both had something wrong with them. The glitter she couldn't get to come out and the burgundy gel color I picked wasn't curing and was wiping off after the top coat and cure. The color I ended up with isn't what I was looking for. But it was too late at that point. As far as the pedicure, there was a small amount of gel polish that needed to be removed. I was fine with paying for the removal. Instead of properly removing all of it, she cut my toe nail down so short to get the remaining gel off that it hurt immediately. Luckily it didn't bleed, but it was so raw that the hot towel at the end of the pedicure was painful and it hurt to wear shoes or socks for the next few days. I have an appointment at my previously nail salon that I have decided I will just have to make worth the half hour drive after moving away. And, unfortunately, this appointment is way sooner than necessary after getting a gel manicure anywhere. I reached out to the salon via Instagram message and the email they provide for contacting on November 20. I didn't get a reply to either message. Update: It is Dec. 21 and I still have not received a reply from this salon. Safe to say I will not go back for a redeeming effort. read more

They took their time to fix my nails that were damaged by another Salon. They are still new yet and hiring more technicians as they get busy but please call for an appointment at this time. First time trying out this salon and I have to say I will be back! I scheduled two last minute gel manicures and they were able to get us in the following morning. Upon arrival I asked if acrylics would be an option but the ladies Dee and Ann let me know only the owner Becky performs acrylic services and she isn't in on Sundays which was fine. It was a slow day which benefitted us in my opinion! Both did an amazing job on our manicures and Dee made sure my cuticles were well taken care of since that was a concern of mine and she also gave me some tips on dry cuticles in the winter! Such friendly, professional service but yet I felt right at home. You can tell they strive to provide the best customer service because they both told us if there were any problems, to come back and the correction is complimentary. Polish job was nice and massages felt good; that's where it ends. Mom and I had pedi appts 11AM Sat. When I made appt I said we need to be out by 12:30, they say no problem. Appt ended at 1:10pm, we were late for 2pm event. Waited so long that when they started, foot soak water was cold. Mom's appt was 45 min late. I had someone helping me almost right away w/ extra work to be done- having a nail built out on my big toe w/ acrylic. I was finished before mom, we mentioned 2-3x (while other tech was still clipping mom's cuticles) that we were late. Mom's tech didn't get all of the calluses buffed from her feet. Re: work on my toe; I've had an acrylic build out on my nail done before in less than 10 mins & w/out a tip. Tech insisted on gluing a tip to the small nail that I have, & I told her no 2x and she did it anyway. Knew it wouldn't last, I was right. Nail came off in 3 days. Back to salon Tue to fix. Different person attempts to build out nail. All she did was cover the small surface that existed; told her 3x make it longer and match my other nail. She worked on ONE nail for 50 minutes, applying acrylic slow in dribbles then tried to shape while acrylic was soft. Nail was very thick and the tip projected up which I knew would rub in my shoe and leave it susceptible to catch on something. I think she knew it too but it was now after 8 PM and I had to go. She polished my nail, I thanked her for repairing it. She did not ask for payment. Resigned to getting nail fixed elsewhere or fix myself when the polish grew out. Didn't get that far. On Wed my repaired toenail swiped the inside of my car door and the nail ripped partially out of the nail bed. It bled profusely and I was in excruciating pain. I'd seen bad Google reviews where the owner said person should call so they can make it right. Followed advice and called owner right away. I was upset and IN PAIN when I called, but what a horrible experience! I try to tell her about the problems and she cut me off and talked over me 75% of the conversation. She accused me of not paying for the 1st repair on Sat- a lie! $88 2 pedis $40/ea+ $8 repair and then the tip (big mistake) Look at the receipt I signed and you'll see it! Owner wouldn't allow me to get a word in edgewise even after repeated attempts to interrupt. She just kept talking and then hung up on me. When I called back to tell her that I did pay for 1st repair she again began her lecture but I didn't hear a word she said because all I said to her the entire time she rambled, probably about 15-20x was "I paid for the repair" until she finally shut up. She then said that I walked out of the salon on Tues w/out paying and I said "Correct. When you have a tech who doesn't know what they're doing, did the job wrong the 1st time (despite saying don't glue a tip on) causing the work to fail within 3 days I would expect a redo would be no charge and she never asked me to pay." Owner told me what happens to my nail after I leave the salon is not their responsibility. I agree, but she wouldn't listen to me trying to tell her that the nail ripping out wouldn't have occurred if the nail tech had done her job right. She didn't want to hear anything I had to say. Just kept cutting me off with her agenda. Then she says "I'm sure there are other salons that can do a better job for you." Yes, there are because I've never had a problem like this and I'll never set foot in the salon again. Finally she asked me what could she do for me. I said "Listen to me, allow me to make my points w/out interruption, about how slow your employees are and how they don't know what they're doing." Then she said she wasn't going to fire anyone because of 1 issue and I said "I never said fire them but talk to them about their slow pace, give them a chance to improve and get them trained so that they know what they're doing. If 1 nail took 50 minutes a full set of acrylics would take 8+ hours!" If she can't diplomatically handle a legitimate complaint the right way, but rather lecture and falsely accuse of non payment, then she has no right being a business owner and dealing w/ the public. I left a similar review on Google and the owner followed up with a note in which she stated more untruths. She claimed that staff repeatedly stated concern about the nail length I desired (which was only to look normal to match the other toe) which could end up in injury. This is false- no one ever warned me about anything and my mom is witness to this. I'm aware of the risks. She also said I threatened/harassed someone and used vulgar language and that's why she hung up. I NEVER harassed or threatened anyone! When you hang up on me while I'm still trying to state my side and intentionally talk over me so as not to listen, I WILL call back. ONE callback does not equal "harassment." I was upset but don't recall cursing. read more

I'm new to Chaska and am looking for a new nail salon close by. I walked in and asked for a gel mani and a regular pedi. They told me it would be about 20 to 30min. I said that was fine. I waited and picked out my colors. They have a limited selection of colors. Many red/pink shades but not a larger variety of other colors. As I waited everyone in the shop was visiting and I really liked that this place had that small town local business vibe! It was a bunch of girl talk and it was very fun. Once they were ready for me, I sat down for my pedi. I started to look around a bit more and I noticed things were very dusty and overall looked very dirty. The tech did a nice job with my pedi which took about an hour and a half. I then moved to a nail station and she started on my gel mani. She would very very slowly trim my cuticles. I was ok just chatting away with the other girls. When she was ready to do the gel, I realized my cuticles had taken her an hour. She then started painting. It took her another hour to paint on the gel and the job looked terrible! It was extremely thick, and bumpy looking. When she was done I looked at it and told her it was awful! She said she could work on it some more but I had already been here for 3 and 1/2 hours! (Not including the 30min I waited before being seated) I needed to go home. I'm giving 2 stars because my pedi was nice and this place has great small town charm, but I would NOT be back as it was very dirty and my gel mani was awful and took a very long time. read more
