When the technician arrived the following day, we were later told four hours of labor had been incurred -- largely for installing a simple battery-powered motion light, with several other agreed-upon tasks still incomplete. When I contacted the company to better understand the billing and job progress, I received explanations but no clear accountability. I asked to speak with ownership to resolve the matter professionally and was informed they would not be returning to complete the work. Additionally, the technician left the house unlocked, left lights on throughout the home, and did not leave the bathroom in clean condition. These details raised serious concerns for me about professionalism and respect while working inside a client's home. I documented the scope of work and what was (and wasn't) completed. Based on this experience, I would recommend others carefully evaluate their options before hiring.

It was a small job; refinishing the kitchen/family room floors, installing new baseboards and a new electrical outlet, some demo of the fireplace mantle, and paint. After he gave me the quote, I called two of his references. Never heard back from one but the other was getting ready to hire him again for another job. The reference was really good; I asked about things like delays (there were none), fixing problems that came up (they were fixed), overall satisfaction with the job (very satisfied). I hired Decotal. They started a few days later; it seemed like I barely had time to move the furniture out of the room before they were there. They did demo first, removing the old mantle and baseboards, and then did the floors (this took several days but they were there each day). Ophir was there almost every day and continually inspecting the work. There were a few minor issues which were fixed as soon as I pointed them out. Tomas, the painter, was great! When they were done, there was some dust but not a lot. I did take all of the drawers out of the kitchen and emptied the cupboards and pantry. Not everything went back... I took the opportunity to do some spring cleaning. I really love the look of the new room; it's very updated now.

Our insurance company told us they called Servpro to come out to help us. Within a very short time we received a call from Jason, who was already on this way to our condo. He brought a small crew, extraction machines, and evaluated the water damage fully. Jason is knowledgeable, calm, and answered all our questions! We are so blessed and fortunate that he was the one assigned to effectively work with us and communicate efficiently with our insurance adjuster. We're still working to resolve the issues that brought this disaster, and moving forward to restore our condo thanks to Jason, his team, and Servpro working with us. We highly recommend this company, and especially this young man. -Lupe and Diana Alvarado

I would highly recommend 911 Restoration for mold and/or asbestos abatement. They walked us through…read morethe process from start to finish, were very responsive to questions and concerns, and wasted no time in getting the job done efficiently and thoroughly. After doing a complete renovation on my childhood home, we signed a lease to rent it for the first time. The new tenant called in her own mold inspector, who found mold in two places. I called 911 Restoration, and they took care of everything, including environmental testing for lead and asbestos, asbestos removal, mold remediation and retesting. They also wore masks, were very respectful, thoroughly sealed off the areas in which they were working, and left zero mess. Our technician, Roy, was patient with all my questions and clearly understood our urgency to get everything taken care of so our tenant could move in ASAP. I honestly could not be happier.

We called…read moreRestoration 911 and they came out on a Sunday night, which is unheard of for most companies dealing with household emergencies. They were able to send out a couple of guys; They vacuumed the tiles of my house and also brought in several dehumidifiers, which were on for the next two weeks. The dehumidifiers got rid of the excess moisture in the air and on the surrounding tiles, and carpet. Then, a guy name Avi came with his moving crew, and they were really nice guys. They took a couple of days to wrap up all of our furniture and box all of our clothing from the closets in a very orderly fashion. All of our stuff was treated with respect and dignity, and they worked very fast. Then, we started working with a man named Dekel. He was very accommodating, a great listener and he was very patient listening to our story as to what happened with the flood. We had a couple of major events in our life, which happened shortly before the flood, and this is the last thing that we needed! Due to our home insurance acting very slowly on our claim, my husband and I had to sleep out in the living room on an air mattress for 2 months. However, the workers from Restoration 911 did everything that we asked them to do, including extra work that was not included with our claim, and they did so professionally and with no complaints. We even had a worker come on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. They did not fuss working holidays and they worked with our ever fluctuating work schedules. Thank you, Dekel, and your entire crew on putting our house back together again.

Although recommended by our insurance company, I immediately felt that Greg was "on our side." He was genuine and honest, and walked us through the process like we were family. He kept us informed every step of the way, even letting us know when he was on his way so we didn't have to sit in the dusty loud house waiting for him. And his crew of Tony & Jorge who did the demo were just as sweet & considerate, along with Manny. In these situations you never know what to expect or what you'll end up with, but I really think we got "lucky" with Greg at the helm, and his fabulous crew! I have since recommended him to others as someone who is reliable, trustworthy and genuine. And to me, having those human qualities are just as important as having the skills to do a great demo job. Please share our gratitude with Greg & his team. I feel like we made new friends!
