    From Five Stars to One Star in 10 Minutes - Unreasonable Refund Policy!…read more I was actually prepared to write a glowing 5-star review after my initial experience here. The Hanna and the other staff were genuinely friendly and very helpful throughout the two days I spent gathering paperwork and setting up my private mailbox service. Today when I signed all the forms and paid $235 for 6 months of service, I was completely satisfied with the customer service. However, within 10 minutes of hanging up the phone, an urgent unforeseen circumstance occurred that required me to cancel my mailbox. I immediately called back to request cancellation and a refund. Hanna told me I needed to wait for their manager, who would be in within 40 minutes. When Joe, the manager, called, I was shocked to learn that their \"no refund\" policy meant they would keep my entire $235 payment - despite my having used the service for exactly 10 minutes. This policy turned what should have been a 5-star experience into complete disappointment. For $235 and 10 minutes of actual service, some level of reasonable accommodation seems fair to expect. The initial customer service was excellent, but management's inflexible approach to immediate cancellations is deeply concerning. **Buyer beware**: Make absolutely certain you won't need your money back before paying. Their no-refund policy applies even to immediate cancellations, regardless of circumstances.

He said yes, retrieved it for me and brought it to his counter to ring me up. I asked him if it's cheaper on sale during the holiday or if I find a different one on sale next week that I may want instead will they refund the price difference or can I return it unopened for a refund/ exchange. He said yes as long as it was within the 14 day return policy window. A few days later, the same computer was on sale and in stock for $30 less than it was when I purchased it. So, my wife and I took the receipt back to the store on 11/26/25 around 6:45 pm to get refunded per what the kid previously told me and what is stated in the terms of the store return policy on the Staples website. The same kid was working that day and refused to do the price match. he basically called me a liar and said that he did not make any statements about a price match several days earlier when I purchased the computer from him. I told him that I could just bring the computer I had purchased back and return it for a refund and then just purchase the same model computer again for $30 less. He basically told me that if I wanted to return it or try and get a price match refund, I needed to talk to the general manager who wasn't at the store, but, he couldn't tell me what days or times the general manager would be present in the store for me to discuss it with him or return the computer. If I knew they weren't going to honor their own policies, I would have just gone to Best Buy and purchased the same or better computer for the same price.

    Got fleeced by the Dry Cleaner... Not a Joke!…read more I recently moved to Fuquay Varina and needed to have some button-down Men's shirts washed & pressed. These same shirts had been laundered many times by another Dry Cleaner I used in the past, but was now too far away. I noticed Glam-O-Rama in Fuquay Varina offered a promotion for laundering shirts with the first 4 costing $10.00 and then their regular price of $3.95/shirt after that if you bring them in on Tuesday. So, it seemed worth a try. I brought in 5 shirts (3 short sleeve and two long sleeve) to be washed & pressed. I was told they would be ready on Friday. The business seemed clean and the young lady that took my order was courteous and friendly. Friday came & I got a text the shirts were ready. I went to pick them up. The shirts were all washed and pressed and on hangers as I expected them to be. However, without my knowledge, 3 of the 5 shirts I had brought in were designated by Glam-O-Rama as "knit" shirts requiring a different, more expensive laundering method which cost $6.95/shirt to perform. This basically doubled the cost of the service vs. what I had actually requested. Instead of ~ $15.00 for my order, the cost was ~$29.00. Given the significant change in price, I would have expected Glam-O-Rama to contact me to inform me about their determination and confirm my approval before performing the higher cost service. They did not and instead just charged me the higher cost service. The facts are none of the 3 shirts Glam-O-Rama claimed to be of a "knit" style material requiring special laundering care are actually a knit style fabric nor do any of them contain any labeling noting any special care requirements. As previously mentioned, these same 3 shirts had been laundered many times by another Dry Cleaner without requiring any special care. The majority of my shirts are actually a cotton/polyester blend and a small percentage are just polyester or rayon. These materials do not typically require specialized care when being laundered. Any garment that does require special care when being cleaned will have very prominent labelling sewn inside the seem to warn the owner and/or laundry service provider what those requirements may be. Needless to say, I find Glam-O-Rama's pricing policy for laundering shirts highly questionable. So, sadly, based on this very negative experience (my first and last with Glam-O-Rama), I will take my future business elsewhere and recommend anyone in need of Dry Cleaning or Laundry Services do the same. Buyer Beware!
