Worst experience I've ever had. They asked me how much stuff I had and I estimated even though I…read moresaid I hadn't packed yet. I shared I had a1650 sq foot home and listed all big items. They charged me double and blamed me for not listing everything in my house. Moved me with 2 people and a truck but left 25% of my belongings for me to move or pay another 1000$. I'm not a moving expert, if they needed every item In my house they should have sent a checklists or asked me fur photos. Instead made me pay for a third person and left my stuff behind. Taking me an extra weekend so now a delay in putting my house on the market. More disturbing is they expect their workers to run for 11-12 hours with no breaks and barely a lunch. I found the entire experience disturbing. Never again and you shouldn't support this lack of caring for their staff acceptable. I've been a leader many years and I'd never ask my staff to work in these conditions.

I texted Quinn with a very down sized list to move. This time he gave me a quote by text and we were on. Same amazing service. Even though we only had a mattress and one small sewing table to move from the down stairs they still insisted on padding the stair banisters and spreading out runners. Got the stuff in the truck with four guys and we were ready to roll. At the apartment they even put down runners in the public areas leading to the apartment. His team were super professional and very nice. They got everything set up perfectly and the whole process took 3 hours. Best of all when the team leader called Quinn to get the final bill it was several hundred less than the quote. This guy is an honest man!

He told me to call Quinn and try to negotiate. Quinn was very rude, to say the least. It took 3 guys 15 minutes to load stuff onto the truck, 15 minute ride to a senior living home and about 30 minutes to unload and set up. Total for one hour? $570!!!

We also went over the mileage predictions. On moving day, Joseph and Matt showed up with their truck and they busted their asses loading. I had everything pre-staged ready to go in about 40 boxes and they padded wrapped my furniture. They were done in just over an hour. Moving into my new place...just over an hour. Again, my old place although a 2300 sq/ft house had minimalist contents. The great news is Joseph's prediction on time and mileage was spot on and I had no damage to my possessions. I was very impressed by the professional and friendly attitudes of both Al and Don. They even moved a console piano (extra fee, but I knew that in advance) and were very careful with it. No damage happened to any furniture; everything was thickly wrapped in heavy moving blankets and was well packed. They also moved a bedroom set and put it in the garage so it was easier for a charitable organization to pick up later, and carried smaller furniture pieces from the basement to the garage for the same reason. The movers maneuvered a tricky second floor staircase at the first residence and successfully carried down a complete bedroom set with nary a scratch. Kudos also to Isac, who set up our move so quickly - I called on the Wednesday prior and was able to secure a crew for Monday, just a few days later. Very, very happy with Five Star!!
