I am very excited for Quincy's Uptown Bar and Grill in Damascus! I am not sure exactly how long they have been open, but I know they are relatively new. For anyone familiar with Quincy's Bar and Grill in Gaithersburg or Quincy's South Bar and Grill in Rockville, the Damascus location has its own menu, but continues to offer a variety of standard and creative American / Bar fare. It is a nice open and well lit interior with a mixture of table and booth seating in addition to bar seating. Drink and Beer specials appear to rotate depending on what is in season if you are looking for something local or new, other than the usual on tap, etc. I need to go back and try more, but for starters Quincy's Nachos are a generous portion, easily shared by 4 adults if you intend to eat other things as well. The Baltimore Crab Pretzel is filling enough for one to eat as an entree if you are in the mood for something a little different from either the crab cake platter or crab cake sandwich offerings also on the menu. It seems like they make a little of everything. If you want something just simple, the cheesesteak hit the spot as well! I am not sure if they have committed to certain hours of operation yet, but I think this is a welcome addition to Damascus and can't wait to try more!

Blackberry habanero wings great...but why no celery?

The Return! Now with more family! My daughter wanted a salad with her kids grilled cheese but it's not included as a side without an up-charge. She would've liked it crispier but that's an easy fix if the cook wanted to put in a little bit more effort. The mezza plate was a good vegetarian option but it felt deconstructed. Maybe cutting the tomatoes, cucumbers and feta cheese into smaller pieces or asking if we would've liked them cut would help? The other idea was mezza kabobs! Still like the place, it's still new and hopefully uses some of these suggestions.

It's clean and the decor is very nice. It has a modern but homey feeling. The service was cool and the shrimp basket was delicious. The best fried shrimp I have ever had. It tasted extra crispy and fresh, the shrimp didn't taste mushy at all. Wasn't to crazy about the fries but everything else was great.

Awful experience. Mediocre would be a generous way to describe the food. Service was equally bad. Wont ever return

You get all the attention and can enjoy your food for a while without feeling guilty I taking too much time to savor every single delicious bite. We've tried almost all of the entrees in their menu and the hubbies favorite is the slowly braised short ribs. It's so flavorful. As for me and my friend, we love them all and can't just pick one dish. I do need to do shoutout to all of the different pizzas because, it is always cooked to perfection m, just enough char and the ingredients always stand out. The waiters and the greeters are mostly family and always never fail to welcome you. The bruschetta given at the start of the meal starts you out really good to the excellent food that is to come. And it's great that you're always assured of having at least two pieces per person because just one is definitely not enough. The tomatoes always taste as if it was picked from the summer garden at their peak. I love the fact that they have expanded so that you can now bring a bigger group to dine in.

Taste better than jarred stuff but not as good as other restaurants or homemade stuff. Lots of sauce! Carbonara was ok. One of them was under sauced (basically naked noodles. The other had a ok amount of sauce. One of them weighed a couple oz more than the other, and they both weighed several oz less than the Alfredo (on my cooking scale) All pastas came with side salads. Food was prepared fast. Never been in person .

Figured it was a safe pic because it's a typical American food place but we were surprised it would be this tasty. We all got different burgers so we could taste different kinds. I wasn't sure if we were going to get seating on a Friday night as we could not make reservations…read more As we entered, there was a group of five people waiting for a table. But luckily for us, a tiny table fit only for two was available. It was all the way in the back! But that was totally fine. We liked our little corner. The place was definitely packed but our server never forgot about us. Back in our little corner were memorabilia from the local schools dating back to the 90's from what I can tell. It really had a nostalgic feel. To start we got the crabby rolls from the specials menu. It was more creamy than crabby. I tasted more of the cream cheese than any crab. For entrees we ordered the fish and chips and main street Madeira. The fish came in small filets that were the size of chicken tenders. Not a huge fan of the portion. The fries were soggy but glad that the coleslaw came in a lettuce pocket. At least that prevented the coleslaw liquid from seeping onto the fish and fries. The chicken madeira was fantastic. I almost never order chicken breasts fearing that it would be dry but this was not. The two breast meat was cooked in a madeira wine sauce topped with mushrooms and a mozzarella, fontina, and spinach cheese blend. The chicken was juicy and flavorful. I can taste the lovely wine. Served along the dish was red mashed potatoes. I love red mashed potatoes because it has a bit of the skin. I liked this dish a lot! Service was attentive, friendly, and fast. This place is a neighborhood gem. Not sure about parking. There was some street parking and there may be a lot next to the restaurant but from the direction that we came, we ended up parking across the street. A tricky crossing because the crosswalk was up the block.
