So, I did my research and decided to buy another brand: Baby Lock. Hubby and I entered the store and was greeted by a friendly Sales Associate: Carol. I explained our budget and what I was looking for: a sewing machine that was a "work-horse", could sew thick denim, quilt, and machine embroider. Well, unfortunately, I could not afford to purchase the $2500.00 machine that could. However, Carol, working with our budget, suggested purchasing a Sewing/Quilting machine right now and I could within 6 months to 1 year trade-up to the $2500 Sewing/Quilting/Embroidery Machine! So, after seeing sewing demonstrations on 2 different machines I decided to purchase the Baby Lock Presto II Sewing/Quilting Machine. I used my old machine as a trade-in (received a brand new large sewing machine storage case on wheels worth $175.00), a magnetic pin cushion with pins, $300 off the $1299.99 floor model. Carol, let me know the correct bobbins that I needed for this new machine (different size than Brother), what thread to use, correct pre-wound bobbins, and offered to give me a free class on how to use the new machine. She was incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely helpful. Instead of just saying they were out, she took the time to walk me through some fantastic alternatives and explained which ones were most similar. Thanks to her suggestions, I ended up finding a few great options that the kids absolutely loved. They didn't even notice they weren't the original Nee Dohs I came in for! This is the only full selection fabric store in town…read more I was there twice. First time, the younger sales person was nice and helpful. She is not very knowledgeable, but since I have a pretty set list of things to get, it was fine. The second time I went in for Shoulder pads and buttons, I encountered the worst customer service I have ever experienced in Moses Lake. (out side of Wal Mart, which no one was there to give any service) . The lady was not helpful, rude, and seemed like a bother for her to check to see to walk 5 steps behind the counter to check their inventory. For that reason and more, I will never go back to this shop again! I don't care if i have to rip the shoulder pads out of my old jacket. This was just uncalled for.... Next time when I need findings, I would drive a hour to another town to get then rather than coming here.

One of them weren't sure about something I was asking about so she pulled it up on the Internet and helped me. They all made me laugh and were very nice to me and the others in the store. I would go back again for everything. Forgot to mention there's a bird in there her name is Zoey I believe she's the funniest thing when she dances! Over all I enjoyed my visit. COME ON IN, GET YOUR POSTCARDS!!…read morewas looking for picture postcards of the area because this area is overflowing with card-worthy scenes and scenery and this is where I found 'em. some are about the tri-cities and local goings on, some are period pieces, some are just kinda fun or funny. not really sure why postcards are so hard to find around here (or anywhere?) on the front is a better snap than most people will ever take and on the reverse there's usually an interesting bit of about the image on front... and after picking out postcards there's regular cards, playing cards, incenses, desk signs, finger puppets, refrigerator magnets, posters, games, all manner of t-shirts and puzzles, and candies and nostalgic references to the dawn of the nuclear age to amuse people of all ages who get that an entire world existed before they were told otherwise.
