I came into the store specifically looking for Nee Doh and was pretty disappointed to find out they were sold out. I had promised them to my kids, so I was honestly pretty frustrated at first. Thankfully, Vikki stepped in and completely turned the experience around. She was incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely helpful. Instead of just saying they were out, she took the time to walk me through some fantastic alternatives and explained which ones were most similar. Thanks to her suggestions, I ended up finding a few great options that the kids absolutely loved. They didn't even notice they weren't the original Nee Dohs I came in for! I left the store super happy and really appreciated how Vikki went above and beyond to make sure we didn't leave disappointed. Customer service like that makes a huge difference. I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this Craft Warehouse location. My friend and I were browsing when an employee abruptly scolded us, assuming we were opening their fake Sonny Angels -- which we absolutely were not. We've shopped time and time again here, but also at other various locations that sell these fake Sonny Angels and have never had this issue. We were opening the already opened boxes to feel if we would be purchasing "Hippers" or "Mini Figures" since there are so many fake Sonny Angel boxes that will say "Mini Figure" but then turn out to be a Hipper. We were specifically looking for Mini Figures, so purchasing a box that SAYS "Mini Figure" only to open a Hipper would be incredibly disappointing.. She told us that if we opened the boxes, other customers wouldn't want to buy them... yet the boxes they had on display were already damaged or opened. The way the employee approached us was humiliating and uncalled for. Later that day, we called to express our concerns about how we were treated, and the supervisor on the phone laughed. We couldn't tell if they were laughing with us or at us, but either way, it felt dismissive and unprofessional. We expected a more respectful and understanding response, not judgment and mockery. Instead of scolding us like we were students in high school, the employee could've definitely asked us to not open the boxes, and if we were unsatisfied with our purchase, to make a return or exchange. We would've completely understood and done as they asked. Overall, ruined our entire day and we will not be returning. read more

One star too many ! I went for help with mats to reframe some pictures, in frames I'd originally had fabricated there. The clerk jotted some numbers and informed me the astronomical cost of one mat for my project. (I needed two) He offered no advise, assistance, alternatives. Next day at Hobby Lobby I was able to accomplish my goal for 1/8th the cost at Craft Warehouse ! Different product and method, same result. Will I continue to shop at Craft Warehouse? This store might not be as gloriously large and well organized as Hobby Lobby, but it's still a great place to check out. *sigh* They have a shockingly large stamp collection. Not only that, but I found several stamps on sale for 50 cents. FIFTY CENTS! I should go back and buy more. Lots of crafty stuff, yarn, home decor, frames, beads, games, and canvas. I would recommend checking this place routinely for good buys. Especially in the stamp area. read more

I love this store... Just got some nice bling bling and it's very reasonable. They have a wide selection of nice colorful beads and anything you need to make nice jewelries.... love it! They have wide selection also of decorations and it's not as expensive as Michael. I would have to come back next time when I have more time to look around. read more

I went to try to find some frames for my odd-sized prints (Colombian artist Fernando Botero). Surprised to see that they have a custom framing service here. It was looking like it was going to cost me ~$60 for my print. I decided to hold off, but its good to know this place is an option. read more

I am a watercolor artist and Craft Warehouse has been my go to store for frames for several years. Last week I took a painting in to be framed and found much to my dismay a $22 charge added to the custom framing price. I really hate to go someplace else but will be looking for a different option. I completely understand a service charge, but think $22 is really high. I travel an hour to go to this store and have to wait 2 weeks for them to get a painting framed, requiring 2 trips, so add gas and time to my expense. I can go to Hobby Lobby in my town and save that expense and get the frame for considerably less money. Will be choosing that option. Sorry craft warehouse but you have lost my business. read more

While I love the selection at Craft Warehouse, I often leave wondering why I shop there because my checkout experience is dismal. There is one associate in particular that either needs further training in customer relations or should be assigned to non-contact duties. She NEVER says "thank you", she'll complete every non-customer task she can find before calling the next customer to the cash register, and she responded like a robot when I pointed out she had rung up the wrong price. Just re-did the transaction without a single word. I left thinking "there are two other store options near by, maybe I'll skip this grief in the future." read more

I love this store! I am not a crafty person but growing up with a home ec teacher I am always trying to make something cool. Every time I go into Craft Warehouse I get tons of ideas and the employees that work in the different departments help me make a game plan so my crafts actually work out wonderfully! They also sell items that I see in stores at the mall for lower prices and you can personalize the stuff you buy! read more

They have a crazy amount of craft supplies... thus they are aptly named. I could spend hours in that store dreaming and scheming up my next latest and greatest project. First of all, Craft Warehouse over charges for everything! I can order online and pay for shipping and it's still cheaper than buying at the store. Secondly, I was searching for some beads to match in a project I was doing. I had checked two other places and finally tried Craft Warehouse. I had a little zip bag that I had 3 beads in to match to. I did not find them at the store. As my husband and I were leaving the store I was stopped by a store cop/security who said "you have some merchandise that you didn't pay for". Needless to say I was speechless since I have never shoplifted in my life. I said to her, do you mean this bag that I brought with me with 3 little beads in it? I asked if she wanted to search my purse and she did, right out in front of the store with people walking by starring. Of course she found nothing!!! After she searched my purse she said "sorry about that", wow what an apology for treating someone like a criminal and embarrassing them. I should have stood out there and yelled at her at the top of my lungs but I was just so floored at this treatment. If this were the only incident that I had heard of I might not be writing this but it isn't. This also happened to an elderly friend of my mother's, same store, close to the same situation. I think this is a horrendous way to treat their customers and I will not be going back, EVER! read more

I like to support smaller businesses and you have to give them kudos for hanging in there against Hobby Lobby and Michael's, must be tough. I think they have a great selection, and one of the few places that still carries fabric! Been in the Tri Cities since before the big dogs invaded.
