This would be a 5 star if based on looks..selection etc. It was a big beautiful store..lots of selection of fabrics..a classroom to die for.. but after looking so forward to coming here from out of state only to be completely ignored ( other then canned greeting as we entered) then totally being ignored for the 45 min we were in there. We ventured into the classroom to look at a quilt thinking the class was over as most everyone had left the room..only to be rudely told to get out as we were already exiting. A simple sorry we are still having a class would have been sufficent..no a rude loud scolding. Several times we had the sales staff putting stuff away or passing by and never acknowledged us. Deducted 2 stars for bad customer service. read more

Signed up for a class one week ago. I had something come up so that I could not attend the class. I asked to get my refund back and was told no the refund could not be returned. In order to get the refine you had to cancel 30 days in advance when I had signed up one day too late. I am taking another class at Quiltique and that will be the last class that I take. I have gone back to Quiltique looking for Asian fabrics, which I know they have a great selection for a project I am working on. I was expecting another trip with poor customer service, but to my surprise I had the most helpful person assist me and even remembered me the next time I came in. Then yesterday I went in for a new project and the two ladies helping me did a great job. Hopefully their days of poor customer service is over. I hope so because they have a great selection of fabric. read more

I was vacationing in Las Vegas and just had to stop in to a quilt fabric store. All I can say is WOW, what a great store. Quiltique has to be up there as one of the most beautiful quilt fabric stores I have ever visited (even my husband thought the same). I just wish I would have saved the money I lost on those silly slot machines so I could have used it all on fabric. Next time I will know better. Thanks for such a great fabric fix. As a beginner to the world of quilting I don't have a lot of experience with quilt shops but I have worked in retail and know about customer service. I went to Quiltique on Sat 2/1/2014 with 2 family members while visiting Henderson and we found the store to be bright, clean and well organized. The sales people were busy with other customers but still acknowledged our presence. The owner took the time to come and explain the functions of one of the Bernina machines to my sister-in-law even though it was very apparent after the first 30 seconds she wasn't a potential sale as she knew nothing about sewing. I didn't make a purchase in the store but decided after I got home I decided that there were a couple of patterns that I wanted and 24 hours after placing the order I received an email from Gwen M. that my purchase had been received and was being put in the mail that day with the exception of one pattern that was out of stock. In the email she also offered the option of special ordering the pattern and sending out when it arrived with no S & H charges or deleting it from the order. She also called to provide the same information. When I spoke with her on the phone she was very pleasant and friendly and I didn't detect any awkwardness from her about dealing with a male customer who is purchasing quilt patterns. It was my first visit as a beginner quilter. What an amazing selection of fabric and samples of quilts. The store is near and tidy which makes perusing through bolts of fabric relaxing. Going through the major craft stores fabric isles make my head hurt and at times I feel as if I'll catch the plague from how everything is so mish mash. I and my husband and Mother-in-law were greeted the moment we entered the store. I had told them that I had read a couple reviews and that the store was wonderful but not to except a greeting. Well we were surprised. After the greeting a sales person asked if we needed help. Two people in less than a few seconds talked to us. We shopped for a while and talked to every one that worked there. They approached us and were very nice. I did purchase great fabric. The patterns were also wonderful. The people here are rude and even ruder when I told them that the sewing machine I have is not the one they have there prices are outragus as well I did like their selection of fabrics but probably will never go here again and if I do it will just be for fabrics and nothing for sewing machines read more

I've lived less than two miles from Quiltique for over six years and only recently found myself walking through their doors when I took up sewing again...and I've been there pretty much EVERY SINGLE WEEKEND since! Wow, what an amazing selection of fabric they have! Lots of cute and quirky designs and they seem to get new shipments weekly. Their customer service is pretty much up there...very patient and helpful, although if I've picked up a pattern book and have read it and stared at it for what may be construed as trying to memorize the instructions, they do come over and ask if you need help. So far I've found Fat Quarters in the prints that I want but they will happily cut a Fat Quarter from a bolt if there aren't any available. (This does not include the clearance bolts...I believe you have to buy either a half yard or one yard minimum, no Fat Quarters.) I haven't taken any of their classes but they seem to always be full and pretty energetic each time I've passed by the classroom. Prices are a little up there, however the quality of their fabric is definitely much nicer than other "big box" stores. Hurry up weekend...I gotta get my sew on! read more

I have shopped at many quilt stores across the U.S. The fabric selection at Quiltique is the best...good quality and variety. The staff could use some customer service training however. Confusing who is cutting and where. I had to wait far too long to get helped and then it took the clerk far too long to cut it. Get off your high horses and speed up the service. read more

I was so happy to discover this shop! They have a great selection of both modern and classic fabrics, as well as a lot of cute novelty fabrics. Visited this shop on Saturday, October 8, 2016...passing through Las Vegas on our way to Cottonwood, AZ. This was one of the shop that I had on my list to shop at. Entering the store was a great experience...it is a rather large store and set up very nicely. I can't say I was greeted when I entered nor was any help offered. I wandered around the store picking up a few items that interested me. At the checkout, the person helping seemed to be distracted in speaking with another employee. I love coming to this store. Although I live in AZ, I come to NV at least once a year, and always make sure there is time in my schedule to stop at Quiltique. Many times, I'm even lucky enough to take a class. The shop is just WONDERFUL, so many fabrics, wonderful displays. Nothing is lacking on inspiration here. I'm a shopper who prefers to remain anonymous for the most the part, but the workers there have always greeted me and asked if I needed any assistance. First of all, the store is always well staffed. I've never seen fewer than 3 or 4 women in there working at a time which I think is great. It allows the staff the time to devote to customers without seeming hurried or rushed. I've noticed that every customer gets the same care and they make an effort to engage everyone. I've also noticed that they refer to their regulars by name which I think is huge for a business. The store is bright and inviting with an open floor plan. It makes it easy to have a wide vantage point when you don't really know what you're looking for. I don't like feeling crowded or like I'm in someone's way and I never feel that way in this store. They have the largest selection of modern prints and designers that I've ever seen. It's really refreshing to be in a quilt shop and see that it's evolving with and catering to a variety of trends. I'm fairly new to quilting (2-3 years) and I'm a "broke college student" so I don't have the extravagant quilting budget that more established crafters would have. That's why I absolutely love their "back room." The fabrics aren't dated or "cheap." It's the same quality, the same awesome designers and brands, and an awesome selection at reasonable flat-rate by the yard pricing. This was the first quilt shop I visited after moving to the Vegas area and even though there are other quilt shops, this one is my favorite. read more
