AVOID THIS SERVICE! Took my machine in to be cleaned and 4…read moreissues. Took a week. When I went to get it the case was NOT closed and had a gap about 1/8-1/4 inch. Luckily they fixed it. There would be no 90 day warranty due to the "condition of machine." Apparently some work had been done previously so their work didn't matter. I should have looked at it more but I was in a hurry and left assuming it was all good as when they called they told me it was working great. Upon getting home I noticed how dirty it was! (see lint in pictures.) I can do some cleaning and that's how I took it in as I don't go beyond that in fear of doing damage. The case can be easily wiped down but so dirty! I am only posting it to show now they clearly did not clean it. If the case is this way and where I can see imagine what they left inside! Used it. Tension was off and hand wheel not fixed. Called complaining it wasn't right and not clean and they said they would fix right away. Went in, the repair did something to tension so that's fine. The lady would not answer me when I asked about how DIRTY it is! The hand wheel apparently is "fine" even though it doesn't work like I have used it for the past 15 years. Not happy at all! I've taken this machine in before and once cleaned deeply it works like new. It shakes so bad, unlike before.

My disabled elderly friend took a Brother sewing machine to be checked. We were told they would…read moretake the machine apart and clean it for $99, so she agreed. They could not repair the problem, so I opened her machine to see if I could. When I did, I foundf the inside covered with lint, dust, old oil, old grease. These heartless people charged an elderly woman who is on a fixed income $99.95 for a service they absolutely did not provide. Please see the photos of the filth inside the machine... evidence they never even took the cover off. If you have had any work done, check it. If you are considering having work done, go anywhere else. I am now going to be helping her file a complaint with Better Business, and will be looking into any help that might be provided by disabled persons services.

But I have now been here a few times. The owner, Sharon, is great to work with and always takes time to answer my questions or make helpful suggestions. I am fairly new to quilting, but I'm hooked! Sharon also long-arm quilted a large, king-sized quilt for me, and it turned out great for a wedding gift. I would not have been able to quilt it myself on my home machine, and she finished it within a few weeks for me. Every time I have visited, here are some new, great quality fabrics. For me, this is over a 30-40 minute drive from home, but it is worth it for the quality materials, notions, and help I can get from Sharon. If you like to sew or craft, this is definitely a wonderful store to visit.

They have excellent variety of fabrics. If you are looking for seasonal patterns, their collections during Christmas and thanksgiving are impressively diverse. I usually look for simpler design which they carry much as well. The quality of the fabrics are just great. Also, they sell yarns, quilting tools, projects ideas, and many quilting inspiration products. The staff is always helpful when I'm looking for certain types of fabrics. As I know, they also have quilting classes available. For ones who don't have time for classes, they have packs that are ready for you to make at home with already cut fabrics which is nice. I'd recommend this fabric store if you need some or even if you are discovering ideas for your next projects, stop by and you'll find something pleasant !
