Great jewelry supplies store! Going out of business, so get your beads at a bargain, before you can't get them any more.

Anytime my wife and I are shopping for any jewelry we go to Busch Jewelers of Rockford, IL. No…read morematter what the holiday or occasion. We highly recommend this Busch Jewelers to all our friends, co-workers, family, and so on. My family even takes the time to drives several hours south from Northen Wisconsin just to make all our purchases here if that tells you anything about how good they are. My family has been doing business with BUSCH for over 20+ years now. We believe when shopping for expensive lifelong jewelry we want to deal with someone you can truly trust, a person you can look in the eyes and believe what they are suggesting to you, a company that has your best interest in mind. A jewler that listens to what it is you are looking for, not something they are trying to sell you. Regardless of the amount of the purchase big or small. A company that isn't just out to try and make a buck$$$$ Not here ladies and gents... We feel strongly enough that we have found just that amazing company that I wanted to take a few minutes to write this review and share our personal experience and dealings with you all. I was always told the Best Advertisement is word of mouth from customers. This local business stands behind their products. We enjoy the piece of mind knowing the warranty that comes with all our pieces we have purchased over the years. Or knowing that we have the ability to trade in our jewelry at anytime for the amount we paid for it (dollar for dollar) and upgrade to something new, something different, or maybe just something bigger or better. We know they take their time to hand select and only purchase the best quality of precious stones, they always offer the best unbeatable prices. Then you don't have to waste the time trying to shop around. They also will offer you top prices for any old or unwanted gold pieces that you just want to get rid of or put that towards a purchase of a new item. At Busch I never feel like I have to wait for some kind of gimmick sale for the best time to buy! It's always the right time to buy. Ask for Mitch and deal with a true professional. He knows everything there is to know. He is a no pressure kind of guy, he is there to make sure you leave with exactly what you were looking for. We love that they stand behind thier products 100%, no questions asked. So again if you are planning on spending some money on any type of jewelry or wanting some custom pieces designed go talk to Mitch at Busch. You will be glad that you did. No headaches no hassels..

    $$$$

We have purchased $$$ worth of jewelry items over the last 30 years from J.B Robinson jewelers…read morewhich changed to Kay Jewelers a few years ago. In the last few of those years I have gotten fed up with the store policies and the management. We recently had a problem with a ring the had to go in for repairs because one of the diamonds has a chip in it. Now I know we got mixed up with the months we needed to bring it in for the 6 month inspection and were 11 days late getting it inspected. I will accept that. So they found this chip in one of the diamonds and was told they would not replace that diamond because it was over the 6 month inspection time. We have taken all our jewelry in for inspections within the 6 month time. We have had only one other time that a piece of jewelry had to be sent in for repairs, it was a lost diamond from a ring. that service worked ok. But this time when we sent the ring in for replacement, we requested that we wanted the damaged diamond returned to us and we had paid to have a replacement diamond on equal value. At about the same time we decided to purchase a new diamond ring to replace the one that was needing repairs. Here is where it gets a little dicey. We decided we had a banger bracelet that my wife wanted to trade in on this new ring. First they had to go back to the original price we paid but then because we used $400 of Merry Money to purchase it they subtracted that amount off the trade in value which I thought was unfair because we had purchased other jewelry in order to get that Merry Money. From that on it gets much worse. It took weeks to get the new diamond that was to replace the damaged diamond and we paid for that diamond and the new ring we had purchased with the Kay Jewelers Credit Card on a no interest for 12 months on the ring around and 6 months on a neckless chain. No to me if it is a NO INTEREST for 12 or 6 months than that is the price we would have to pay. But after I got the first statement from the credit card company I find a charge of $59.25 for promotional plan and on the next statement I find a monthly charge of $12.83 . To me that is interest and it should have been stated this in the purchase agreement. It was not or if it was it was very hard to see or find using a magnifying glass to see it. I also had a $100 credit coupon that they would not accept for either the Diamond we had to purchase or the new ring we purchased. With all the problems the manager would not do anything to make up for any of the expenses we incurred and I told the manager that I would pay the ring and chain in full but she told me I could get this NO INTEREST for 12 months and NEVER told me it had a PROMOTIONAL PLAN Charge. Later she told me it was a 2% charge paid monthly but didn't say anything about the $59.25 charge which I called the credit card company and explained that there was nothing stated on my receipt about any promotional fee. I have told the manager that WEWILL NO LONGER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM KAY JEWELERS because of the very poor service and miss informing us of these extra charges. If I could put star rating on them of -5 I would. NEVER DO ANY BUSINESS with KAY JEWELERS. They are totally unprofessional in the way they do business. I also found out that there is a 10% discount for being a Veteran which (you have to verify) I was not told anything about it. As far as I am concerned Kay owes me 10% of the three things that I purchased in the last two months . That is over $325. SO LONG KAY JEWELERS!!!!!!~!~!~

Ann and Diana both worked so patiently with me going over many different options for my trade-in and finding cost effective ways to make my dream come true. I also felt that these ladies were not pushy with sales- they really listened to me and my ideas. I really enjoyed their customer service and our laughs! I didn't make a purchase that day, however I did walk out feeling VERY encouraged, and will be back! I highly recommend this store.
