The competitor across the street was not able to find the karet stamp, and the price was grossly unfair. $ 32.00 dollars for 18 karet gold a gram while scrap gold is trading over$ 62.00 I will definitely consult Kamin jewelry professionals. I was a victim of theft & fraud at Zavius Jewelers. The scary truth about this business is how they run it. I was refereed to this business from a "friend," Michayla. Thinking I was safe from being violated. I finally picked up my Cartier diamond love bracelet after 3 months even though they told me it would only take a couple weeks. As time kept progressing, I started getting worried... All this time for a clasp? I of course took it straight to where I got the diamonds upgraded and customized for myself as they would tell the difference. They confirmed the bracelet wasn't the same. It wasn't even the same size! Not to mention, we had the diamonds upgraded to VS. It was confirmed the bracelet was not the mine! The diamonds we dull and missing and defiantly NOT VS. I sent Melissa (owners wife) a text & pictures showing her one of the DIAMONDS were SCRATCHED and missing. She asked me to wash it and claimed there was something on top of it, that I just needed to clean it. After I followed her request, I then responded that didn't work. She told me not to worry, she had PLENTY MORE diamonds at the store and if she came into town, to Chicago she would pick it up and switch it out for me. I proceeded to tell her how the unique markings on the bracelet that were once there before, such as certain indentions and signature touches were now missing. Her response, "he cleaned it." She took me for a fool, I then called my jeweler and asked if I can come see him. To say the least, once the cartier bracelet was retuned I knew I had a bad feeling. It didn't look the same the diamonds didn't have that rainbow color, it usually had. It was dull and fell fast past my wrist bone when put on. Different from before, which I had to pull past the wrist bone with my other hand! I can't tell you how stressful that was, standing there not listening to my gut and believing the words coming out of Luis's (owner) mouth as she stood there waiting, hanging off my next response. His first words to me were "See just as new! Check the serial number." Boy did my stomach drop. I didn't want to accuse him without proof and risk the chance of shooting myself in the foot but at that point I kept note. He continued by telling me the bracelet is factory made. With a machine, and "it's so easy to make." So I asked him, "do you have the machine to do it with? He replied "Yes." I then told them I was going to Cartier to show them the scratches and ask them what was going on because of course they would know. The response was not to go there and to just go to a local shop. Check the pictures. So before you think about spending your hard money with this business. Think twice, they're deceitful, frivolous, ill minored, and will rob you blind. No one deserves to have to go through this. This one is running loose and wild, stopping at nothing. Greedy, prideful. But the truth always prevails.

Brand new Jordans, never ever worn, rare color ect...not my issue even tho he stole em @ 30$ I could've waljed away then. However, I needed the cash, more than 30$ too, so I asked him how much he would give me for my chain? This chain was purchased at Sam's club for 650$. I have pawned this chain at Paymaster downtown numerous times and gotten it back. 14k gold. 11.62g to be exact. Somehow this man ran a magnet next to my necklace and said it was sticking to the magnet. There are two places this could've happened, one, I broke it and had it repaired at a jeweler, or at the clasp there is one small ring that will possibly stick to a magnet because it's the way the clasp is attached to the necklace. The man working went on to tell me he would give me 30$ for the chain too!He said tho it was fake and it was "heavily dipped in gold?" I was like there is no possible way that's true. 1.Paymaster has given me 400$ on pawn for the same chain numerous times before, and 2. Why would he want to buy a fake chain for 30$ or any dollars for that matter? This man was a crook, straight up tried me and just to be certain I brought it to a jeweler after I left there and they AGAIN confirmed like Sam's Club where I bought it and Paymaster where I previously pawned it it's 11.62g 14k gold. If you gotta pawn stuff you are already in a bad way, go to Paymaster Pawn, they are fair, they aint tryin to rob u outta your stuff, and you get what u need if what you bring in is north it. I had always thought EZ pawn was kinda cool because they had shoes and purses and stuff. No, this place is a joke. It really sucks when one person leaves with a bad taste in their mouth because I ain't a review writing type person.
