While I was in this last time, I purchased a pendant and necklace. The staff helped me pick out the necklace for the pendant (and my wife loved it). On top of that, I received 50% off the list price. There are so many reasons why after 20 years, we still come to this store. The owner and his team are always amazing, and whatever your budget, they help you find a piece that will dazzle your special someone.

She was helpful and friendly at all times. She even offered to clean my engagement ring while we were browsing. I really love Gruno's and they have become my prefer jeweler because of the sales people. They treat you great whether you are in a suit or sweats. They never try to sell you something you werent looking for or something you cant afford. I was a victim of theft & fraud at Zavius Jewelers. The scary truth about this business is how they run it. I was refereed to this business from a "friend," Michayla. Thinking I was safe from being violated. I finally picked up my Cartier diamond love bracelet after 3 months even though they told me it would only take a couple weeks. As time kept progressing, I started getting worried... All this time for a clasp? I of course took it straight to where I got the diamonds upgraded and customized for myself as they would tell the difference. They confirmed the bracelet wasn't the same. It wasn't even the same size! Not to mention, we had the diamonds upgraded to VS. It was confirmed the bracelet was not the mine! The diamonds we dull and missing and defiantly NOT VS. I sent Melissa (owners wife) a text & pictures showing her one of the DIAMONDS were SCRATCHED and missing. She asked me to wash it and claimed there was something on top of it, that I just needed to clean it. After I followed her request, I then responded that didn't work. She told me not to worry, she had PLENTY MORE diamonds at the store and if she came into town, to Chicago she would pick it up and switch it out for me. I proceeded to tell her how the unique markings on the bracelet that were once there before, such as certain indentions and signature touches were now missing. Her response, "he cleaned it." She took me for a fool, I then called my jeweler and asked if I can come see him. To say the least, once the cartier bracelet was retuned I knew I had a bad feeling. It didn't look the same the diamonds didn't have that rainbow color, it usually had. It was dull and fell fast past my wrist bone when put on. Different from before, which I had to pull past the wrist bone with my other hand! I can't tell you how stressful that was, standing there not listening to my gut and believing the words coming out of Luis's (owner) mouth as she stood there waiting, hanging off my next response. His first words to me were "See just as new! Check the serial number." Boy did my stomach drop. I didn't want to accuse him without proof and risk the chance of shooting myself in the foot but at that point I kept note. He continued by telling me the bracelet is factory made. With a machine, and "it's so easy to make." So I asked him, "do you have the machine to do it with? He replied "Yes." I then told them I was going to Cartier to show them the scratches and ask them what was going on because of course they would know. The response was not to go there and to just go to a local shop. Check the pictures. So before you think about spending your hard money with this business. Think twice, they're deceitful, frivolous, ill minored, and will rob you blind. No one deserves to have to go through this. This one is running loose and wild, stopping at nothing. Greedy, prideful. But the truth always prevails.

I took my wedding set in there October 28 to be sized up to a 7.5 and the center stone's head replaced.I picked them up after waiting over 2 weeks and was extremely disappointed. All three rings are extremely thin in back so much that they have sharp edges now and they are mis-shaped! The head is even crooked! I measured the rings and they are now size 8! After messaging Jewelry by Christopher the owner Christopher told me to come in to his shop. When I did and nicely showed him my rings falling off my finger and their razor thin backs, he immediately was extremely irrate and started yelling at us, telling us we can't say the rings are too thin, telling us he is a "master jeweler". He got red in the face and neck and started yelling at my husband, (who wasn't even speaking yet). He kept yelling "No!" and "Stop!" The strangest part was when he motioned to his own advertisement playing behind him and yelled "I have designed jewelry internationally!" He then admitted they were the wrong size and yelled he would resize them but not fix how thin they were or the crooked head mount. $540 wasted on crap work by a "master jeweler". I can't even wear my rings without them falling off and they don't fit together properly! This is insane!
