UPDATE: After sharing my experience below, the manager, Christy, reached out to acknowledge the…read moresituation. When I returned to the store, she graciously offered a price reduction or a full refund. She also explained that bathrooms are available to store patrons (including children) upon request. I appreciated her willingness to address the situation and her politeness throughout the whole exchange. Thank you, Christy! I visited this store yesterday with my 18-month-old and 3-year-old. After making a selection of clothes I was examining a felt case of magnetic blocks when my newly potty-trained 3-year-old told me she needed to go potty. There were no public bathrooms available at the store. As every mom who has potty-trained knows, this can quickly become a minor emergency. At this point I made two mistakes: first, I didn't check the price tag on the blocks, and second, I didn't keep track of how much I was being charged. Unfortunately, I was too focused on my daughter and whether we would need to make a quick dash out of the store. Once home I was dismayed to discover that small set of blocks was $69.99. I tried calling the store to see if they could help me but only reached voicemail. As it was already close to closing time I decided to return the next day. At the store the next morning, I explained the situation to the employee at the counter and asked if they could extend some grace and do a one-time return of this single item. The employee remembered me and seemed sympathetic, but had to ask her manager in the back. Her manager remained in the back and sent word that they would not make an exception to their no-return policy. I then asked whether I could simply exchange the blocks for other merchandise totaling the same amount. That was also refused. Instead, I was told my only option was to sell the blocks back to the store on consignment for less than half of what I had paid for them the day before. I declined, as I would rather try to sell them myself and recoup more of the cost. At no point did the manager ever come forward to speak with me personally, but merely sent her employee back and forth. For anyone shopping here in the future, I strongly recommend checking every price tag carefully before checking out. Some items may be considerably more expensive than expected!

Here you will find casual and dressy casual wear, super cute, unique items for kids, and many accessories. If you are looking for something for you or your child that is different than a department store find, stop by and see what the shop offers. Prices are spot on. It's important to remember that boutique clothing provide an opportunity to obtain unique pieces that not everyone in town wi be wearing. This means you might expect to pay a little more. With that said, I thought the prices were extremely reasonable- $28-$60 or so per piece. I noted some necklaces and other accessories for $12. It's worth noting how extremely friendly the owner is. He was super sweet to my girls. His two dogs were in the shop, and he even brought one to my toddler so she could pet her. These are the types of small businesses to support.
