A former employee had been giving him a discount at our store (not legit,) so that he could get a discount on cigarettes. When I told the man I could not give him this discount he got hateful and said I always give your employees deals. Um, no, I always pay regular price. He said, "I charge you more when you come in, now." I told him not to worry about it, I won't be back and I haven't. The fact that this station has changed affiliations several times in the 5 years I've worked near it, makes me nervous to buy their gas. This place is shady.

My…read morefiance went into the store with his uncle and the truck was parked in front of the store and i was in the back seat. My fiance went in and bought 2 Arizona during (Peach and watermelon) than went to the counter with my card to purchase items. He asked for cash back and accidentally pressed $40 instead of $10. So he told the cashier he only needed $10 cash back and put the money back on the card by referring the transaction. The cashier said ok. Then handed him the $10 and the transaction came to 13.00 dollars altogether. The same night the transaction of $43.00 was still pending to clear and by morning the next day it cleared and payment of $43.00 was processed. I called the store after my fiance called and told Ryan the manager and or owner of Worlds Liquor store the situation he began to state that they don't do cash back so someone had to have stolen the money due to the back the transaction would not have went through. So I asked if he he can reculect which of his cashier's was on register between 8pm and 9pm he said yes he knows it's either two people he has in mind I u to him ok ask them or go look at the cameras and see how the transaction went or I can just come all the way up there with the police and have someone arrested for theift. Then he began to ask me to come bring my bank statement so he could look at it and compare there information of the store with the information of the statement. I should not have to get up and pay for a ride to get there and go back to my hotel, when they can pull up receipts of the transaction from 8-9pm or look at the cameras and reverse the few and then deal with there employee as suited to the matter of the theft for stealing. I want my $43.00 refunded since the manager and or owner Ryan said that someone had to steal the money cause there wouldn't be a transaction with cash back or he needs to issue me the correct amount of $30 dollars back and i want an apology from the employee(s) that decided to steal from me.

SINCLAIR GAS I-29 & 72nd…read more What happened to good old HONEST business? While out Sturday night 3-2-24, I stopped at Sinclair gas station on 1-29 and 72 nd street. I went in to the store to pay for gas. The 2 young guys that were in the store acted odd and could barely speak English. I did NOT feel good about it to be honest. About 2am I started receiving alerts on my phone as my card I used at the gas station was used to purchase 3 transactions totaling almost $1,000 dollars: ALL at Walmart at I-29 and Barry rd.  I had to dispute all 3 charges, cancel my card, and now wait for dispute to be resolved. Because it was the weekend, I had to wait until today to get a NEW card. Needless to say a pain in the butt!  I will NEVER patronize the SINCLAIR gas station on 72nd and I-29 again. Talk about feeling violated. They obviously have employees that steal from their customers/patrons. To bad, I will NOT be one of them.
