When I went to check out, the register rang up a much higher price. All other prices in the cooler appeared to be correct, which led me to reasonably conclude that these Muscle Milks were intentionally marked down--possibly to clear them out for one reason or another, such as being close to expiration. When I politely pointed out the posted price, management simply kept repeating that they couldn't honor the price that was posted, without offering a clear explanation, price adjustment, or solution--despite the signage being clearly visible and misleading. QT is usually reliable, which made this experience especially disappointing. Posted prices should be honored or immediately corrected to avoid confusing customers. Unfortunately, this situation felt like a bait-and-switch. I hope that someone higher than the manager that was there addresses this, because customer trust matters.

(She isn't white but clearly treats poc's differently) Also she was very condescending to the cashier who was also not white but was doing his job well but because he mis-spoke she felt the need to correct him even though it was literally just about the name of a candy she felt the need to bring up the obvious while customers were waiting in her line to get rung up. As someone who has had many bad days working in customer service, I still wouldn't treat anyone like that since it's not like a random person or coworker had anything to do with it but clearly she does and it's not a very good idea to put people like that in leadership positions. I've had managers like her before and they make the workplace unnecessarily frustrating for both the employees and customers. The only reason I'm giving the 2nd star is because of the other cashier.

They seem to have their own grill here inside the gas station, where you can order tacos. They have touchscreens that they've rolled out that you order from. I dunno why you'd get tacos here, when there's a Las Palapas across the street. They sell ice in 8 lb bags inside the store, but they also have an exterior ice machine that sells more ice cheaper. I wish they'd had a sign up inside letting you know that they have a cool ice machine outside. The clerk was efficient, and able to work two registers simultaneously to get people checked out quickly. He was doing that while giving directions and helping another guy order food. Parking and driving through here can be a bit confusing with all the drive-thru's around here. Along with the teenage drivers racing over here after the high school across the street lets out, this can be a hazardous parking lot to hang out in. The convenience store was clean inside and out! I managed to get in and out of there on the quick time.

I asked the first cashier how to use the ice machine and that's when I learned that it was broken. The tax when another cashier heard me and offered to make me a few bags of ice. Having very few gas stations in the area meant that Wal-Mart and HEB set the pricing for gas. They were OK, but our prices remained more than 10 cents a gallon more expensive than San Antonio or New Braunfels. As QT has a goal of being the cheapest gas around, they have driven the prices down for all of us. Win for the consumer:-) QT also brags about their food that they cook in-house. I was skeptical of this because they are a convenience store. I was very pleasantly surprised when I purchased a pizza for the kids, and in having a small piece, found their pizza to be better than most of the home delivery pizza folks that you see advertised on TV. Also, living in the covid times, I was happy to see that they limit capacity, require masks on employees and customers, and have hand sanitizer all over the store. On top of that, they seem to have hired the most friendly help in the area. Will I return? Most definitely!

Got gas and a car wash here today but I tore the receipt too soon and was missing my code. I looked up their phone number hoping someone would answer so I don't need to try to have the 3 cars behind me back up and have to go inside... And to my amazement a clerk answered on the 3rd ring! She helped me with a code and I was able to keep my place in line and avoid any embarrassment. So many businesses have automated messages or you have to leave a message. It was refreshing that they have real people answering their phones.
