I absolutely love Chick-fil-a, but today was a fail on their part. We ordered breakfast by the app, but when we got there the attendant stated our breakfast order was not going to be filled because we didn't mark pick up when we ordered and it was 3 minutes passed breakfast time even when we arrived on time but had to wait in line. Isn't that the whole purpose of using the app to order ahead and pick up? If I still had to wait to get there and order, well I would have don't that to begin with and by passed the app. Suggest you state that on the app so people know. read more

I don't go to Chick-fil-a much, but I had my grandsons and that's where they wanted to go. I'm glad we did, there was a playscape indoors and that took a lot of weight off of me watching my grandsons. We got to order early, waiting for one more to going us. The food is good, this place was popping at noon. The staff are super friendly and polite. The ambiance is really chill. Place is super clean and the playscape is sound proof. Every time I come here they always get the order right, always very nice and respectful, and just a good restaurant in general. But today, I ordered four things, including six chick fil a sauces. I'm going to start off by saying, the service at Chick-fil-A USED to be amazing. I order from them ALOT, multiple time a week some months... I am beyond tired of the lack of common sense and quality.i ordered a large fry and a small, got the same amount of fries in both. If you see the pics, it looks like one container has already been half eaten but no this is how I received it! What blows my mind is that someone fulfilled this order, and while filling up this fry container thought this was acceptable. I've had this exact same issue with the cibolo location while this location was under construction. Which makes me think whoever is in charge of all locations is telling the employees to start filling up the fries less and less, for whatever reason. Fast food is expensive nowadays and if I'm paying extra for a large, there is no reason I should be getting less than what I paid for OVER AND OVER AGAIN. I'm to the point where I'm tired of calling and complaining just for the issue to not be resolved the next time I order. They are ripping off loyal customers. Not to mention the fact that I've seen many people in the Facebook group complaining about the new location in cibolo and I've even commented telling them to just go to the schertz location, just for them to do the same. This is my go to CFA! It's nearby and even when busy, I get through pretty fast. The restaurant is in a tight space and the drive-thru can be a bit horrendous but the workers make it work and I get in and out. The workers are always friendly no matter how busy and that's appreciated. read more

Although yesterday was a holiday, they were open for service so my two grandchildren and I stopped in to get them a little play time at the playground and get some dinner. Thirty to 40 minutes into our time there, I decided we would be leaving and waited until then to place an order to go, however, when I got up to the register, the young lady started taking my order using my rewards for a lemonade and sandwich but then tells me that now the kitchen is closed. Why they couldn't send someone to come and ask if we needed to order anything else before the kitchen closed is beyond my understanding. I did call them and spoke to a manager and said they would send me a new reward for my sandwich points that were lost. Ordered delivery and they left on of the meals off. After I called they said it would be an hour before they could bring it back out. When they did bring it (salad) they left out all of the sides. When I called to get them I told them I wanted a lemonade and fry as well as the sides that were supposed to have originally come with the order. the first time chik fil a has let me down. i will preface this by saying that though i eat chik fil a a lot, this is not my usual chik fil a. i placed a curbside order because i had a sleeping infant in the backseat, and curbside anything is a lifesaver right now. I waited twenty to twenty five minutes in a designated curbside spot while it still said "preparing your order" and finally thought well maybe their system is having issues. So I finally went through the drive through and explained that I had waited and just decided to go drive through because maybe something was up with their system. (and my baby was due to wake up soon so i needed to get home) they said ok go forward to the window. after waiting all that time and then patiently going through their drive through line i get to the window and apologetically explain again only to overhear the manager griping and snippily say to me "you know we called you and you never answered so your loss. maybe you shouldve answered your phone and this wouldnt have happened". I mean sorry- at the window nothing was wrong with my order their were no issues, so i fail to see how this couldnt have been a straightforward thing but on top of everything i had to wait and then get an ugly attitude from the manager- like wait am i at whataburger?! when has chik fil a ever been slow, negligent and on top of everything rude? I expected an apology citing a miscommunication and I apologized too- there was literally no need to be so passive aggressive and ugly. Btw- they called while I was already in the drive through after they were expecting me there, and I couldnt pick up because I was soothing my crying baby. So its not even like they called while I was waiting in curbside for close to half an hour. Since this is not the chik fil a standard I am leaving this review because in the moment i was honestly shocked (i had been polite the entire ordeal) and pressed to get home, so i wasnt about to argue and hold up the line behind me. so just be aware, the white male manager working this friday night is rude and shouldnt be representative of an establishment that has a reputation for being the exact opposite. UPDATE: 09.27.18 (2 Star Rating): Visited via drive thru and explained the history to the young lady (Natasha). After being asked and giving her my name 4 times, she asked me to pull to the window. When I got to the window, I was greeted my another young lady (expected to be greeted by Natasha) so I explained the history again and, once again (5th time), provided my name. Tyler (believe to be the owner / manager) was standing beside her when I gave my name and after looking in the computer, Tyler asked me for my name yet again - so this now made 6 times. He was looking in the computer and I could tell he was having difficulty - and coupled with it being the start of lunch hour and several cars behind me - I thought this was just too much hassle for everyone - me, the staff and the people in line behind me so I left. I did receive a call from Tyler within 5 minutes apologizing for any frustration and explaining the challenges in trying to locate the info regarding the comp meal. He offered to make it right if I can back to the store or if I downloaded the Chick-fil-A app. I thanked him for his call; let him know that I did not have the app and that this was another service failure. Perhaps when I'm back in the area, I'll try again. UPDATE: 09.20.18 (4 Star Rating): Received a call from Ashley apologizing for the error (sincerely), inviting me back to this location and turning this disappointing experience around to retain me as a customer. Never have a gone in and felt the usual disdain that comes from your average fast food worker. They offer promos (this month, it's free coffee! Yay!!), and the HEB down the street has coupons for buy a combo, get a free chicken sandwich. The food is always great, and even though the drive thru is usually packed, it's always a quick trip! I have visited this location a few times and finally I'm going to review them. This is a busy location. They do offer a lot of fun community events from crafts, daddy daughter night, mummy and son tea time. Plenty. This location is very involved with the community. We keep track of their events on their FB page. Service is always great. Food is always delicious. This location can be quite busy during peek hours. (lunch and dinner) 1 star for facilities. 1 star for food 1 star for amazing service 1 star overall - I didnt give a perfect score because parking is horrible. Chick-fil-As are awesome with pleasant staff and on point orders. This one came up short today. We have eaten there a handful of other times and it was good-great on accuracy of orders. But today they got one kids meal wrong and shorted us an entire meal. Had we driven away I would have been incredibly frustrated; because we stayed and dined in, it was more of an inconvenience. I was driving home from Temple and took the 3009 shortcut in Schertz because I know there is a Chik-Fil-A there and was hungry. Unfortunately, the dining room was still closed due to the "Corny Virus". I proceeded to the drive through, ordered my food, paid and picked it up. This store is very efficient! After getting my food I parked next door to eat. I soon realized that I forgot condiments, so I called the number on the receipt and told the guy that answered my situation. He was extremely helpful and in two minutes, a young lady approached my vehicle with a bag containing the condiments I requested and napkins, which I didn't. You guy ROCK!! It's really unfortunate that this is the closest Chick-Fil-A to my house, because they have the absolute worst service in the San Antonio Metro. If they ever try to park you, don't do it, every time I've been parked here (which is pretty much every time) it's taken from 15 to 20 minutes to receive my order.
