It's in the middle of a bunch of ethnic restaurants and foreign grocers by the Medical Center. I've found that the gas is still cheaper just a little bit up the hill at the Valero. But this place is clean, clean, clean. It's spotless! It always seems to be picked up, and the bathrooms are rather clean. I like how they have a full (help yourself) bar for coffee drinks- with nitro cold coffee that puts the local coffee shops on the run. My fav thing about these gas stations is the name brand condiment station, where you can get the fancy stuff - Grey Poupon in little yellow packets, or Cholula hot sauce- Grab handfuls, because this is the good stuff! She helped me with a code and I was able to keep my place in line and avoid any embarrassment. So many businesses have automated messages or you have to leave a message. It was refreshing that they have real people answering their phones.

Yes, the lines can get long, especially during peak hours, but that's simply a reflection of how good the prices are. The wait is usually worth the savings, and the lines tend to move steadily. Fueling up is also convenient. You can pay right at the pump using your physical Sam's Club membership card or simply scan your membership through the Sam's Club app, making the process quick and easy. If saving money on gas is a priority, Sam's Club Fuel is hard to beat. Affordable prices, convenient payment options, and a valuable membership benefit keep me coming back.

It's so much easier than waiting in line to checkout. The second thing I like about Sam's is ordering online. I can place my order in the comfort of my home and pull up curbside and retrieve my order. It's SO convenient. Last but certainly not least, I like their products--cases of beverages, frozen foods, cleaning supplies, clothing and so much more. There's quite a lot of products you can buy in bulk to keep you stocked up. They are very good about returns. It can take awhile waiting in line, but there's usually no issues. I love how they keep up with technology. The scan n go, the quick lines. For that reason, I much prefer shopping at Sam's than the other warehouse store.

Having very few gas stations in the area meant that Wal-Mart and HEB set the pricing for gas. They were OK, but our prices remained more than 10 cents a gallon more expensive than San Antonio or New Braunfels. As QT has a goal of being the cheapest gas around, they have driven the prices down for all of us. Win for the consumer:-) QT also brags about their food that they cook in-house. I was skeptical of this because they are a convenience store. I was very pleasantly surprised when I purchased a pizza for the kids, and in having a small piece, found their pizza to be better than most of the home delivery pizza folks that you see advertised on TV. Also, living in the covid times, I was happy to see that they limit capacity, require masks on employees and customers, and have hand sanitizer all over the store. On top of that, they seem to have hired the most friendly help in the area. Will I return? Most definitely!
