By far the cheapest gas in the Menlo Park area can be found here. The prices are even below Arco's pricing! However the quality isn't exactly up to Chevron or 76 standards, if you're one that believe 91 Octane is all the same, then this place is for you. Why three stars though? It would be two if it wasn't for the exceptional pricing of gas. First off, if you get gas here at any 'normal' hour, let alone peak hours, there's always a line to get in. This line is enhanced since there are only TWO pumps there. That's a maximum of four cars total that can be pumping at one time, and heaven forbid if you turn in and your gas cap is on the wrong side of the pumps. There's hardly any room to back out and make a U-Turn. Also, pending on how full their tanks are the pumps can pump fairly slow (there has been signs of improvement though). The area can be a bit spotty as it borders nice vs not so nice neighborhoods. I've seen people with nice cars pull up to add gas, then card that are beat up show up, and the nice cars leave w/o even filling up. I haven't experienced anything bad here, I think some people get a bit too paranoid. The convenient store is loaded with snacks and such and some automotive fluids as well for emergency. I'd really love for this to be the neighborhood corner market where you can pop by when you run out of bread. My favorite gas station- I'll go way out of my way to come here. Always way cheaper than any other station and the have a large convenience store. There is often a wait for a pump because there are only 4 but if you care enough the wait usually isn't more than 5 minutes. read more

As the other reviews say, come here for the cheapest gas in Redwood City and Menlo Park area. It's not the highest quality, but the prices can't be beat, and I'd be lying if I said I haven't gone out my way before just to fill up here--especially in the days when gas was over $4.00 a gallon. So how much are you willing to put up with for great gas prices? 1. Lines between 12pm-10pm. You'll usually have to wait in line if you want to get gas between these hours, and occasionally deal with an a-hole who has no regard for aforementioned lines. 2. Getting leered at by creepy men. This doesn't happen all the time, but it's happened a few more times than it should. If you're a young female pumping gas alone, be careful--you might as well have a neon target that reads, "Creepers, hit on me!" hanging over your head. I have been coming to this gas station forever. And last night I was refused service. I literally asked if I was being refused service and the guy said yes. My crime? Being a broke ass and trying to pay for my gas in quarters. $5 dollars in quarters. I had just gotten off of work, picked up my kids and had a function to go to. It's what I had on hand and I needed to get some damn gas - Hi! Can I $5 on 4? - I can't take change. If you can go get rolls or bills, I can take it? - I don't have rolls or bills. I need to get gas - I can't take it. You can go get rolls or bills In disbelief - Are you refusing me service? - Yes So I go to the group of guys that are hanging out in front, who do not understand why I am asking them to exchange quarters for bills and comment that they guy is racist and get a $5 bill. Probably could have gotten a couple dates for Friday night, but I digress Walk back in with my $5 bill - 5 on 4 - I didn't deny you service - Yes you did. I asked you if you were denying me service and you said yes. - something something change doesn't fit..rolled or bills..the last guy..whatever - What is the mangers name? - I'm the manager (Oh really, cause I've been coming for years, I know the owners are a nice couple) - Are you also the owner? - No - Then I want the owners name and a business card so I can call her - The number will be on the receipt and she'll be here in the morning. I didn't deny you service (Dude, I've had it. My feet are hurting cause I had to dress up for this afterwork/school function and I've already had a long ass day at work and I just had to ask a group of men for money) - I have been coming to this gas station for like 20 years and this has never happened to me. I will (emphasize will) call the owner tomorrow and I'm going to give you a bad Yelp review! - mumble mumble - Estupido! So at @ 5:15 pm, this guy is not going to take change for the rest of the night at a 24 hour gas station/liquor store/market. This place is a nightmare. The layout of the gas station makes it entirely difficult to get to the pump coupled with the fact that every time I'm there someone drives the wrong way up to the pump and will end up blocking the adjacent one making it impossible to reach. It is quite often that you are forced to wait for a long time at this station when only 3 of the 4 pumps are being used and several of the patrons are in the convenience store with their gas already pumped. The management is not helpful in policing this cluster f. Buy a Costco membership and get gas there; the gas is just as cheap and the cost of the membership is more than made up for by convenience. read more

I live close-by and frequently shop here for snacks and drinks. Staff is always very friendly and helpful. The owners are hard working people with great integrity and work ethics. I don't buy gas here anymore because I have an EV now, but their gas prices are also very good, actually the best in the area. read more

Great price on gas and the customer service is great. The selection of food and drink is also extensive.

So I know this is just a gas station and not to expect a whole lot, but being rude is not how you do business. Navdeep was rude af. I know currently it's a mess because of the debit/credit;only cash business but there is no reason to be rude. If you don't like your job, leave. This place can be a real pain in the a$$ to get in and out of and with some really rude people that get gas there. Yes it dose have cheap most of the time but if you what to deal with people cutting in front of you or someone going in the store and not coming out till moons later then have fun. read more
