For starters, they are always well stocked with everything you could possibly need. From snacks, to lubricants for your engine, windshield washer fluid, to oil additives, they usually have just about everything you need. In addition to that, they have great food items available. Everyone that I've stopped at always has a fresh cups of fruit in a cooler up front.. things like watermelon, pineapple, tangerines, and other really tasty snacks. This is nice for people looking for a healthier option than a bag of chips and a Coke. This place was super clean, I wish I could say that was across the board for all that I've been to, but this one was particularly clean. That shows me that management is on top of things. Bottom line? While I'm traveling cross country, this will definitely be one of the places to stop when I need a bathroom break or to grab a snack while I'm driving.

But my children will have the AC on until the last second for me to pump gas in 90+ degree weather. The taller attendant has allowed a customer to scream at me to turn my car off without any interference. And today decided it was his turn. I barely stepped one foot out of my car when I was scolded and when I explained that it would be turned off before gas is pumped but I have children in the car he decided to raise his voice. Horrible attitude and just old men behavior. Bored and looking to put young women in their place for their own satisfaction. Gross employment.

Absolutely disgraceful customer service--and that's putting it mildly…read more Yes, the store is dirty, grimy, & rundown to the point of being uninviting; but I could have overlooked that, since most of what they sell is prepackaged anyway. What can't be overlooked is the hostile attitude and complete lack of basic decency from the staff (or owners--honestly, it's hard to tell who's who when everyone behaves so abrasively). Reading the other reviews, it's clear this isn't just a one off "bad day" scenario. This place has a pattern: abrasively rude, aggressive, unprofessional behavior toward would be customers. We're not talking about just slightly rude--I'm talking about over-the-top reactions to the simplest questions. When someone politely asks for a cup of water--in Arizona, during a 100°+ day--maybe don't act like they've asked you to hand over a kidney. It's water, not gold. Calm down. Truly- who pissed in your cornflakes & why are you trying to take it out on everyone walking in the door? That kind of bitter attitude doesn't just drive customers away--it makes people remember you for all the wrong reasons. Treating people with decency is free. When you choose to be nasty to others, it says more about you than anything else & how you treat others says everything about who you are. Kindness costs nothing--but the karma you earn from cruelty will cost you everything. There are definitely cleaner, friendlier, more professional places all around--run by people with actual integrity. I'd strongly recommend spending your money somewhere that reflects the values you want to see in the world. This place doesn't deserve your business and won't be getting mine.

I am just not a fan of a gas station whose pumps talk (loudly) to you, trying to get you to buy…read morethis or that. This Shell is actually the only gas station that I can recall that does this, and it is mighty annoying. I really don't need to hear the bs early in the morning or when I'm in a rush. Just let me pump my gas and get on my way, please. I'm also not really a fan of gas stations that charge for air. Give me a break. It's air. It used to be free here, too. Ok, your machine costs you money to buy and upkeep, I get it. But if you have free air, I'm more likely to buy your gas. That's how you can make money off of me, not from a few quarters to fill my tires in a pinch or an emergency. It gives me warm and fuzzy feelings to know that if my tire is low, the station around the corner has me covered without having me dig around for quarters that I never carry. The gas prices are usually ok, but even so, this Shell is a last resort gas station for me. With the QT's that have popped up, who have quiet pumps, free air, clean stores, and reasonably priced gas, I'd rather just go to one of them and give them my money. They're more deserving.
