This store appears to be badly understaffed; I had two experiences within the last month where I had to work to find someone to attend to the register and check me out. The second time I just gave up and left the merchandise at the register. Watch out Walgreens, Walmart is just down the road and if you leave this impression with your customers they have options. read more

Updating my rating. This pharmacy has been nothing but a mess the whole year I've been dealing with them. They consistently tell me my order is ready and when I show up I have to wait in a line for 45 minutes to an hour just to be told they don't have the medication in stock. I've even gone as far as calling them to verbally verify they have my medications in stock and ready and am told to come in that it's ready and then told in person they don't have it. How is pharmacist such a mess? I've changed my pharmacy to Safeway- much better customer service. read more

I was wary to send a prescription here because of the other reviews, but it was most convenient so I gave it a chance. Thankfully, it all worked out: I didn't have to wait long at the pharmacy, the staff was really nice, and I even got to speak with the store manager Nikki while at the photo counter. Even though the store was busy, she was very kind as well, and helped out when there was an issue with the order I'd made. I'll definitely be returning to this location, and my only regret is that I didn't get more names to explicitly thank for the pleasant experience! read more

If I could give less I would and it seems like most of Vail AZ agrees with the quality of the pharmacy service here. Had an appt at 12:45 for my 99 year old grandmother for an RSV shot, get there and stand in line waiting to check in until around 1 pm when a lady behind the counter announces they are done with vaccines until after their hour lunch!!!! MY GRANDMOTHERS HEALTH IS WORTH MORE THAN YOUR FUCKING TURKEY SANDWICH!!!! The pharmacy manager, Janice, needs to be replaced. The whole pharmacy team in fact. We spend a lot of money there on prescriptions and as of today no longer will. So glad the Safeway took us as walk ins and their pharmacy is run much smoother. Put in the complaint with corporate office as well. read more

Walgreens - people in wheelchairs in a store - Cosmetics & Beauty Supply Near Me - Vail, Arizona

If I could give 0 stars I would. Always beyond busy, line is 10+ drive thru and inside and they have ONE person working both. I've never been here and it NOT been busy. 0/10 don't recommend read more

We love this pharmacy, we moved from Scottsdale and the nothing special service at three different Walgreens over 20 years. I read these bad reviews and the only thing I can think is who actually leaves great reviews for pharmacies when everything goes well. lol We always get answers, get our prescriptions and get great service in the pharmacy and the store. read more

Miss counted prescription drug count while RVing across AZ. The pharmacist was great at helping getting 10 day fill on prescriptions so I can make it home. read more

customer service everything went smoothly very convenient . i would recommend this store/location

Walgreens Pharmacy should get out of the prescription business. They are incompetent and do not honor the Good RX prices.

Plan on waiting at least an hour for a scheduled vaccination. Not sure what good scheduling an appointment does. Maybe they make us wait until they have enough people lined up? Next time I will just schedule the vaccination with my doctor read more

No stars for this place. Well if you want to be called and texted constantly to pick up your prescription after you have already done so. Then this is the pharmacy for you. It would help if the staff was a little more competent on figuring out whether you have paid or not. I would recommend to everyone to do themselves a favor and travel a little further to a different location. read more

Probably the worst pharmacy I've ever had to use. Prescription called in a day before was never listened to or filled. My wife fell and fractured her humerus , a painful injury, and at night Motrin was not enough for her. I wrote a Rx for tramadol , but since it was out of state they would not fill the prescription. There is a national data base for narcotic prescriptions. A quick check would have shown that my wife does not take narcotics. Obviously they were too lazy or overwhelmed to check. So now she is moaning from pain in the middle of the night. We are switching pharmacies. read more

Waited for 10 minutes at the drive thru! They closed the pharmacy window with myself and another vehicle in line . Really rude at times and always delays with Rx ! read more

Have been using this pharmacy for quite some time, over 5 years or more. They have gone from being a friendly business to one that just doesn't seem to care about their customers. For example, my doctor called in a prescription on Thursday, I went today Sunday, and was told it just wasn't ready. I could wait 45 minutes or so. This wasn't the only time that they have not had prescriptions ready. I told the curt lady waiting on me that this would be the last time I have my prescriptions filled here and guess what her response was... ok good! The store better send her to customer service school before she treats more people this way, in fact the lady before me also was told she would have to wait for her prescription that was called in. Would give zero star if it were available! Obviously they don't need my business. read more

90 days ago the prescription was automatically refilled and we were told we did not need to call ahead to have it filled or check to see if it was ready. 90 days later we drive to the location and we're told the prescription is not filled and we would need to make another trip back in two hour. Waste of time and gas for us since we do not live near by. read more

This Walgreens is the worst at filling out prescriptions. I'm told that the prescription is ready to pick up and then I arrive and it's not ready at all. They move so slow! read more

Absolutely the worst pharmacy ever. Expect to spend a minimum of 30-minutes in line to be told your prescription isn't available or hasn't been filled yet. It would be after to drive to Benson to fill a prescription. read more

Like many other people have said, this pharmacy needs to be shut down. Second time now I have gone to pickup my prescription during normal hours and arrived to a sign that said "the pharmacist is out". They weren't supposed to close for 2 more hours and I had just talked to the guy (after waiting a LITERAL HOUR on the phone) who said he would have my prescription ready. Like what?? Now I have to wait till the next day to pickup. People could die with this kind of practice. In the very least they will suffer. Not to mention every time I have ever gone to the drive thru I have waited a minimum 25 minutes in line even if there were only 2 cars ahead of me. Go somewhere else, folks!! read more

Worst pharmacy ever. I started working for them and in the six days I lasted I found micro management to be completely ineffective, the gaslighting of the management to employees is outstanding, the fact that they force you to lie to customers is appalling. It is definitely a Walgreens pharmacy that needs a complete over haul. I suggest people take their prescriptions elsewhere, even if you have to drive into town to get them. read more

Absolute worst pharmacy. They need to close this place down. People will die waiting for their medications. I have spent too much of my life going to and from this management neglected pharmacy only to learn that meds aren't ready and that I have to wait 30-45 mins after waiting that long in line just to get to someone to help me. This is of course after I get a text and/or a phone call saying that my meds are ready to be picked up. I do have to hand it to them for consistency. This has been my experience every time! read more

If you're looking for excellent--even just okay customer service, competency, reliability, and trust...PLEASE LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE! This has to be the absolute worst Walgreens Pharmacy that our family has ever used. Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else! There are terrible pharmacies all over Tucson and Vail but none that are as worse than this one. Truly disappointed in how the pharmacy staff failed to put in our prescriptions three times and then give us an attitude about it...Avoid this pharmacy and do NOT give them your business and hard-earned money. They don't deserve it at all. read more

The pharmacist is just about as horrible as it gets! she is too slow when doing anythin and she has the worst attitude. Anyone that goes to this Walgreens understands how miserable the pharmacist is. Her name is Janice woods and she needs to be reprimanded for the disrespect she gives to everyone. I have changed to a different store all together for my prescriptions because she has the worst customer service. read more

Pharmacy. The pharmacy apparently has no connection to the app. What I see on the app ( refills available, refill in process) never matches the actual status of the prescription. I don't know if the problem is the app or the pharmacy. read more

Plan to wait an hour for them to tell you they either a) haven't started your prescription yet (no matter how long ago it was called in hours or days) or b) they don't have it in stock or c) the pharmacist is missing. The only thing you can predict about the experience is that you will leave frustrated. It's probably time to stop pretending this is a functioning pharmacy. read more

This pharmacy is just terrible. They previously messed up my 3 month prescription and only gave me one month (they said no problem they would fix it next time). Now they say there is nothing they can do but give me 2 more one month prescriptions. So now I have to go there three times instead of one time and I have to pay three copays instead of one. I hate this place. It take forever to fill and to pick up a prescription and now I have to do it three times as often. read more

They selectively decide what prescriptions to fill. That's not a good practice at all. A legit prescription should not be cancelled by the drug store, period. Total mess! Which script will they cancel next? It's not their decision to make, stop it. read more

Terrible service and if you let them know they will tell you your medication will be 5 min longer and you must drive around to the back of the line or they will call the authorities. Call 1-800-925-4733 to report their horrible service to corporate headquarter. read more

The pharmacy here at this location is a complete joke. The staff is in dire need of competent management.

Never answer phones or the window. I asked to get my prescription filled last Wednesday to be done on Saturday..it is now TUESDAY and it is still not ready and whenever I try to call they never answer. OH except for ONE TIME some kid answered saying that he "would try" to get it ready in the next four hours..like...what?? Then he just hung up...not impressed USED TO BE sooooo much better. I will be transferring my medications. read more

They don't even deserve 1 star! Pharmacy and the staff are the worse! They don't follow customer Instructions and clearly have no sense of customer service when they know they did wrong! Pharmacist refused to call another location to get my order filled there (after I waited a ridiculous amount of time.... Let me clarify, I WASTED MY TIME). Pharmacist informed me I had to drive to that other location to get my Rx filled. I called another Walgreens pharmacist at a different location and within minutes my RX was filled at the location this incompetent pharmacist failed to call. When I informed her the level of customer service at this location sucked, she proceeded to say she knew it sucked!! read more

0 Stars. Will be filing a formal complaint with the state board of pharmacy. Total incompetence! I've called all day when my doctor put the prescription in at 9am! They say they still don't have it. Bunch of liars! This is not a real pharmacy. DO NOT TRUST THEM! Go to Safeway across the street. They have a real pharmacy. read more

This Walgreens is a dumpster fire. Wait time is ridiculous. 40 minutes. Minimum no matter what you need to do. The don't get scripts correct, they loose the scripts from the doctor and are not consistent with what is needed for the script. They are "temporarily closed" all the time. Need to get their act together. Super frustrating. Go anywhere else. read more

The update is that this pharmacy has actually gotten worse. I can't offer them 0 stars, sadly, so they get another 1 from me. I am somewhat impressed though. They were actually able to make their already dysfunctional pharmacy even worse! That takes some talent. Before they had one line for check-ins for shots while the other was dedicated to prescription pickup. Not anymore! Now its a free for all with the same incompetent people. What does this mean to the customer? You will wait... You will wait a very long time as one worker asks a coworker how to enter information in for each customer. I understand OJT, but this is the same woman who was OJTing a month ago and has apparently learned nothing. Sadly I am forced to utilize them for certain shots, but lucky for me this will be the last time I must endure their complete buffoonery. read more

They have the vaccine and take appointments online. That is the good news. Do not fill out the form for the appointment online as you will have to do it again there. Also your appointment time is to start the process. Expect more than an hour wait. Is a poorly designed process. Very inefficient. Be ready to relax and have a good attitude. Is a sad a state of affairs read more

This Pharmacy is clean and well-stocked. Although, it takes them hours upon hours to fill a prescription and you will wait hours and then be informed that the medication that you need needs to be ordered. So I was in their store for hours just to find out the medication that I needed wasn't in stock and it would be there within 48 hours. The people behind the desk and need to take the time look at the orders make sure before they tell somebody it will be done and a half hour or 45 minutes but the supply is in stock. This store is really giving me a bad taste and my mouth about customer service. I spent thousands of dollars a month on prescription medication and if something like this happens again I will take my business to another Pharmacy read more

This is my favorite Walgreens! The employees are very nice and knowledgeable and the store is clean and well stocked. The pharmacy techs, except for one, are compassionate and friendly; almost like family. Not sure what is up with the 1 female tech but she isn't a happy person; it's like night and day compared to all the others. What do I love the most -- THE MUSIC! Sounds crazy but I actually look forward to hearing what songs will be playing. Keep up the good work! read more

This is my favorite Walgreens! The clerks at the front registers all are very distinct characters and, as such, are quite entertaining. You know what kind of greeting you'll get depending on who is on the register that day. The store is usually well stocked and the shelves aren't instantly denuded right after the store opens Sunday morning and people trample the aisles snapping up the couponed items from the Sunday newspaper insert! The pharmacy is accurate and relatively quick. The store is always clean and well organized. The milk is always fresh! read more

Longest wait time ever at the pharmacy. I'm going to switch to the Rita Ranch store. Prescription was called in by the doctor 3 hours prior and still not filled when we arrived. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I scheduled vaccinations online for the flu and covid booster for 12:45 pm. The info on their site said to be there 15 minutes early, so I arrived at 12:30 and brought the filled out paperwork they gave in their link. Went to check in and the guy said to have a seat and I would be called up. There were several people before me and some of them had clipboards filling out paperwork. I assumed they had not printed out the info from the online scheduling site. After about 45 minutes I went back to the counter to see what was going on. They said I had not been checked in and they were going to lunch at 1:30 and I needed to come back for my vaccinations. Seriously???? They were having pizza delivered, so I guess that was more important than taking care of a customer who had been sitting there for an hour. When I called later to express my concerns, I talked to two different people and not once did anyone apologize for what happened. All they kept telling me was that they had to take lunch at 1:30. That really wasn't the issue. I get mistakes happen, but at least own up and apologize. I am done with them! read more

I have been filling my prescriptions here for years. I see a lot of complaints about time people have to wait ect... Seems everybody wants it RIGHT NOW! Be real. They work harder than anyone I know. They can't make a mistake. Lives depend on it. All you people complaining probably could not even come close to doing the job. You are NOT the only one who needs their medicine filled.. They are good people who are doing their job. You probably did not tell them to their face what you left in the reviews. Grow up and quit whining or go somewhere else if it is so bad... I THANK the pharmacy and all the others who work there to let them know someone appreciates the hard work they are doing! Mike Morris read more
