I called at around 12ish on Saturday thinking that they may not be open or even if they are they may not have time for my very very small job. To my pleasant surprise, after a few rings, a gentleman answered and after telling him my problem, he asked me to see him at 3:30pm! He did say that they are very busy but still willing to take a look see for me, naturally, I expressed my appreciation! On arrival, I was a bit taken with how busy this little shop is, but only after standing at the counter for about 5 mins. I was acknowledged by Jackson (the gentleman on the phone), he immediately took my car in and asked us to come back in about an hour. Seeing how friendly everyone is when they come in, I know that all are regulars, which is a good sign already! Jackson, then proceeded to check my car and his advice was to use another power outlet instead since the car's USB may not have enough voltage for my multi-headed charger. He also checked all the fuses and they all turned out fine. With mystery solved, I am now happy to use the other power outlet. Jackson was so nice that he only changed me a minimum fee, which is very generous of him to do so! Thank you Jackson for accommodating me in such a short notice and also on a busy Saturday afternoon!!

It was one of the recommended outfit to install snow tires I bought from the Web. I have since taken my car there for service twice. Once for a leaking tire and once for transmission maintenance. Entrance of this shop is at a back alley of No. Road, and the first impression is not at all impressive. One is likely to witness a wide variety of cars, from current models, to old classics, to one of a kind vehicle, under different stages of repairs as one winds his/her way into the office. It has no shinning floor and parts are scattered around. "Ordered messiness" might be an appropriate way to describe the shop. It sort of reminds me of the cluttered desk of one of the smartest professor I had at Stanford. But under this deceiving appearance, the shop is run by a crew of true professionals with good discipline, great service and unbeatable prices. It costed me $50 to repair a nail in my tire. A transmission service with full fluid change was $160, PARTS AND LABOUR included! It would have costed me more just to have the car examined at the dealership. On top of that, it opens until 9 pm! Which garage does that nowadays! I am a professional engineer with more than 30+ years of project experiences in aerospace. Came here to get some suspension work done, on the recommendation of a friend…read more Parking is available in front of the building, but this can fill up. The owner/manager Danny (super chill and easy going guy) took care of me from the beginning. Usually I'm a bit edgy about trusting shops (including dealerships) as they've messed things up in my car before, but Danny was open when I mentioned the model-specific quirks for repairing my suspension. The other guys in the shop are easy going and friendly as well. I was able to guide them through the repair as the critical "quirky" parts of the procedures came up, and they were receptive. Very special mention for this, as most shops often have the "I know more than you do" attitude, followed by the "oh, I didn't know this repair for your car is different from other models, think I broke something" garbage. The entire shop is quite easy going, and there are cars going into and out of this place all the time. As a result, the work may take a bit longer, as the crew are switching back and forth between vehicles. But they have a nice lounge with Netflix, which kept me entertained. I also saw them offer other customers a lift to somewhere nearby such as Metropolis so they wouldn't be stuck at the shop for a few hours. During my repair, Danny even pointed out some failed components I didn't even know had broken. A quick call to the dealer to order parts, and I was back the next day. This repair took a while, but the shop was busy that day and I knew they were squeezing me in as a courtesy. No complaints. When the alignment was slightly off (common if the suspension isn't fully settled) after I picked up the car, Danny took the car right back in, no questions asked. He even took me around for a test drive so he could see the problem for himself. The price for replacing 4 controls arms, inner tie rod, and subsequent 4-wheel alignment(s) came to under $300 - almost too low, to be honest. Let's see the dealer do this work for under $1000. My suspension is now buttery smooth, and this shop has earned itself a loyal customer. Highly recommended.
