This was the tofu hibachi. Disappointing.

12 thin slices of tofu - almost no substance to this meal and I eat very little as is!

This place is OK. Nothing wrong with it, but nothing great. The chicken is good quality. Not fatty or gummy. The rice and veggies (mine was just bok choy) had zero flavor.

If you're looking for an alternative to Sarku, this is it. I can say it's a bit better than Sarku, This particular spot is more of a takeout place than dine in. It has a few tables tho. It's surprisingly very tasty. Different taste from Sarku, and it has more variety in options. They have salmon and shrimp combo. They also have chicken, shrimp, and beef combo! They have Poke bowls. They also have sushi options. Plus, they have this yum yum sauce that's so delicious it goes well with everything. The portions are generous. Prices are about the same, maybe a tad pricier. But it's still reasonable and worth it. They have several branches in the area that you can try. I'm definitely going back.

Mostly because the ramens came with pork or vegan broth and no poultry or fish broth options. Stalking their insta I saw a chicken broth tantanmen that looked delish. So here we were. We were promptly sat, service was quick and fast. My chicken tantanmen was delicious. The numbing sichuan chili oil with the crispy karaage, paired with a nutty miso broth was just perfect for an overcast day. My bf also thoroughly enjoyed his vegan mushroom ramen and appreciated the cook on the mushrooms as it wasn't just bland and spongy. Would absolutely come back if they keep offering non pork broth options. Or at least the ability to sub broths out. Interior was also decorated very cool.

That is nori on the brussels A piece of pork belly was fired for my drink. The drink menu was small but a got a chance to try them all and there is a flavor profile for you. The ramen was filling and comforting as ramen should be and be sure to ask about the secret menu. I went for Baltimore Restaurant Week and was able to try so many things. But you can go for happy hour and try all the appetizers and drinks for a discount. While we are suffering a long cold spell right now and perfect for ramen, remember ramen is perfect year round. The service was wonderful and the place filled up quickly while we were there on a Wednesday night. I will be back. Oh I hear there is a good outdoor space, but I didn't get a chance to experience that with temperature in the single digits

I wish we did the shrimp catching challenge, the chef asked kind of quietly, and some of the members of our party said no, but the others would've liked to try it. The chefs and servers had excellent service. They brought everything promptly and served everything accurately, being mindful of all allergies and preferences as well. Fried rice and lo mein were very flavorful. The filet mignon was cooked, medium rare for me as I requested and was delicious. The scallions and shrimp were cooked very very well and super flavorful with lemon and butter. The vegetables were also delicious. The portions were large and the accompanying Yum Yum sauce and ginger sauce were great. I had the mango martini and it was a little bit too strong for me and not my favorite but they do have happy hour. I have not tried their sushi so that is not factored into my rating. I think I would have liked kani salad rather than a whole crabstick in the burrito. I also purchased the 3 roll lunch special - each maki roll comes with 8 pieces, which I always like. The rice wasn't my favorite cook, I think a little crumbly. The avocado included was fresh. I think the salmon wasn't the freshest tasting but certainly not bad. I enjoyed the eel avocado roll the most. I prefer California rolls with kani salad instead of crab stick. The owner/cashier was very nice and offered to re-bag my food into one bag. The paper bag was custom to the restaurant and of nice quality. The interior was nice for dining in, though a little warm given the temperature outside. It was nice of them to include a lot of yum-yum sauce on the side - good for hibachi dishes. Spicy mayo would be better for sushi in my opinion. I'd like to come back to try their hibachi items.
