    popcorn chicken $9

This Quickly is not that busy. To use the self ordering tablet, there's a mandatory 10% tip. No biggie, but kinda of shady because I took my food to-go and did not eat there. So, popcorn chicken with tax and tip was $9.50.

I've had mostly good experiences here over the years. I generally make an effort to greet and be extra nice to service people, which you'd be surprised how often changes their attitude! **AMBIANCE** -They have a large TV with music videos playing constantly. It's generally pretty clean aside from boxes and deliveries they have received. They recently remodeled so it's still a little cluttered. Pre-COVID people and students would hang inside and do homework, play games, or just chat. **DRINKS** -They have an eclectic menu of Milk teas ($4.50), Slushes ($4.50), Fruit teas ($4.25), Smoothies ($4.99), Yogurt drinks ($3.99) and more! There are a ton of different flavor options you can get for most items. There is a huge list of toppings to add ($.75/ea), however they don't always have every one available. The drink prices listed are for the regular size, though they have a "Supersize" you can upgrade for +$1.50. They used to have more size options, however I believe they condensed to two with the remodel. **FOOD** -There are a bunch of (mostly unhealthy, but delicious) options. They have a lot of snack foods that are good in specific situations. Some of the favorites we like are the Popcorn Chicken ($7.99), Curly Fries ($5.99) & Waffle Fries ($5.99). They have other choices like Baby Octopus ($7.99), Pot Stickers ($5.99), Spam Musubi ($5.99) and more! -They also do rice bowls, ($7.99) with various types of chicken or Spam on top. -On their new menu, they have a Chicken Wing section that's "coming soon" with 8 different flavor options. -They have dessert options as well such as Mochi Waffles ($5.99) w/ choice of topping and Egg Puffs ($6.99) also coming soon. **SUMMARY** Overall this is a good spot to come if you want some quick (ha...see what I did there), relatively inexpensive and mostly delicious Boba drinks and snacks. It may not be the most fancy, but you know what to expect and the extensive menu along with reasonable prices keeps us coming back! Instagram: @BBNem.Food

I've been coming to this Quickly for several years, but since I've finally made it in post-remodel, it's time for a review! ~ Location, Ambiance and Service ~ They are located in the San Bruno Towne Center which is always fairly busy due to the mix of food, shopping and Bevmo. There are a few spots right out front, but you'll have better luck parking in the main lot. The remodel looks AMAZING! Everything seems really clean and refreshed with wood-paneling, TVs with the newly expanded menu--the whole place looks much more modern and upgraded. Over the last few years we've seen the same rotation of folks working there, but didn't recognize the people we saw recently. We had a couple of questions since we were changing our usual order, and service was fine--not overly friendly, but it's hard to read on people when we are all masked. ~ Food ~ Popcorn Chicken: This is one of my guilty pleasure snacks--salty, crispy, dark meat that is hot and delicious! Curly Fries: The fries are super seasoned and just the right balance of crispy and soft. ~ Drink ~ * Hokkaido Milk Tea (caramel): First time getting this and WOW! It's definitely sweeter than I would usually prefer, but this really hit the spot. Classic caramel taste; the boba was a little undercooked (?) in the center but was fine. * Wintermelon Tea (black tea): This is my go-to! Love the flavor; refreshing taste, and goes well with classic honey boba and popping boba as well. Great before or after a meal! Overall, Quickly is good if you're needing a quick boba fix and are in San Bruno. As mentioned, there are some shops (Lowe's, nail salon, Marshall's) so this is a great first stop before running errands or for a treat on the way home. Instagram: @waitingtoeat

Quickly is always a solid boba place. Pretty big menu with lots of options. Ordered on the kiosk thing and the wait wasn't too bad but a tad bit longer than expected. The drinks overall were good but very sweet, so I recommend getting half sweetness instead of full unless you want diabetes boba... but overall good value for the price :)

No option for Custom or 0 tip. They hid it beneath the blue Continue button so you can't even press it.
    Andy B.

They FORCE you to tip. The self serve kiosk that they have you use FORCES you to pick 10/15/20% tip. If you want to hit the "CUSTOM" tip to leave a different amount or 0, you can't. The Custom button is hidden underneath the "Continue" button. So you can't even access the the Custom button if you don't want to tip, or already left cash. So you're forced to take your own order, not get service, and then on top expected to leave a gratuity for doing that! Good boba and snacks tho!

It took us about 10 minutes just to put an order in on a Saturday afternoon. The cashier looked like she did not want to be there just asking customers "what do you want?" With no smile or any sort of acknowledgment while she was getting orders together in the back. Considering that there were only 2 people working there and she was doubling with making food in the back it definitely doesn't help her situation. They need to hire more folks on busy days like these. The room got to about 7 people long and there were lots of people waiting in line and only one person making drinks. The buzzer that indicates people coming in and out is broken because it kept ringing sporadically even though no one was coming in. Definitely an organizational issue. Despite those issues, her bad attitude was apparent. She didn't accept the $10 bill of someone ahead of us because it had a rip, but my partner purposefully took out a ripped bill that she accepted. But she proceeded to give him attitude for asking for 25% sugar, to which she said "we don't use sugar we use syrup" so we asked for 25% syrup but thought her response was off. She was very rude and there were 3 of us customers talking outside about how rude she just was to everyone. If they want to stay open, they are going to have to hire more hire more workers and train them to have a bit more courtesy. As for our slushy, it was not great. We won't be back.

We've…read moretraveled quite a bit and tried sushi in many different cities, including around the Los Angeles area where we live and have our favorite spots. So when we visit a sushi restaurant, we tend to evaluate everything as a whole -- price, quality, service, and of course the flavors. For dinner we ordered the Mango Tuna Roll (which was our first time trying a mango-style sushi roll), the 8-piece Omakase Nigiri, a Double Toro Roll, two pieces of Otoro, and a hot sake. With a 20% tip included, the total for the two of us came to $163.50, which honestly falls within the average range of what we usually spend for a sushi dinner like this. Normally we might pay around $120-$130 depending on the place, sometimes a little more if we add an extra item or two. The portion sizes were pretty standard. Not unusually large, but not small either -- similar to what we've experienced at many other sushi restaurants. Where this place really stood out was the depth of flavor. The quality and balance of the ingredients were excellent. At one point I actually caught myself closing my eyes just to focus on the taste, which is something I almost never do. The preparation felt very refined and the flavors were elevated, rich, and memorable. I would describe it as delicate portions with very elevated flavors. Because of that, I'm giving this place 5 out of 5 stars. This is the kind of restaurant that works perfectly for a nice dinner with your partner. It's not necessarily a place where you go wild ordering everything on the menu like at a taco spot. Instead, it's better to be thoughtful with what you choose and enjoy a few well-crafted dishes. You can easily have a special, enjoyable dinner here without going overboard. Definitely worth visiting if you're in the area and want a quality sushi experience with refined flavors. The only thing I felt was missing was a small welcome miso soup. In some sushi restaurants we've visited, they serve a tiny cup of miso with a couple pieces of tofu as a warm welcome. It's a very small gesture, but it creates a nice first impression and adds a sense of hospitality to the experience. Considering the quality and pricing of the menu here, a simple welcome miso soup would fit perfectly with the overall dining experience.

We ordered the following: 1) Deconstructed lumpia - more difficult to eat than the classic lumpia but the flavors were so bomb that it was worth the effort. 2) Patatim - reminiscent of paksiw na pata but with mushrooms. The meat just melts in your mouth! 3) Bistek tagalog - their take on steak and fries, but better. 4) Kaldaretang baka with bleu cheese mash - classic kaldareta flavors on a bed of mash potatoes. We were a little unsure about the bleu cheese part, so our waiter offered that it can come on the side. We tried it with the dish and while it was good and added a tang, bleu cheese is just not for me so I'm glad we got it on the side! The meat was cooked perfectly - still a little pink on the inside so it wasn't chewy or overdone at all. 5) For dessert, we got the buko pandan which my mom absolutely loved. Owner (I think) and ancestor of Inda, Raquel, came out to greet us and ask how everything was. She was so kind and glad we had enjoyed the flavors. She even boxed up our leftover for us! Food gets a solid 5 stars - I would give more if I could! For atmosphere, I give it a 4 as it was a hot day I don't think the place has AC, so it was really warm in there. For service, I also give it a 4 because although our waiter was super friendly, kind, and very helpful, I felt that he could have checked in more. For cost, I feel that everything was priced fairly. It's just a little more expensive than your "regular" Filipino restaurant. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be back!

I might consider getting the fish on the side since the sauce made the breading a little soggy. The green curry chicken was very good as well. My husband ordered a Roast Duck Noodle Soup, our little one ordered Fried Chicken Over Fried Rice, I ordered the Massaman Curry with Chicken, and we ordered Fried Banana with Ice Cream to share. The Roast Duck Noodle Soup tasted delicious it was not too heavy on the lighter side not too salty and overall we all thought it tasted well. The star of the show was the dish our little one ordered the Fried Chicken Over Fried Rice everything about this dish married well with each other and tasted spectacular. The Massaman Curry with Chicken was ok it wasn't my family's favorite, the Roti and Cucumber Salad that it came with was ok Roti too crispy for me, Cucumber Salad was super small portion I was expecting a bigger portion and the Curry itself was a tad bit too salty for my liking...I find that it would have been nice if it was served over a bed of rice instead of with Roti. Also my Curry dish was full of chicken pieces and very little potato pieces...please please more potatoes next time. As for the dessert it was good can't go wrong with dessert. Also at one point one of our plates had a little dead gnat on it but the waitress was so attentive when I pointed it out to her she changed the plate setting right away, thank you!! Maybe when I come again next time I can get a different dish. Other than that the place is well kept small and tucked away from a busy street, I believe my family and I know of this restaurant because we passed by a few times while going to other neighboring stores and restaurant.
