I went inside and some people was waiting for Their orders and others was using the self order machine. So I asked the person on charge if I was able to order with him because they been taking their sweet time to place the order and he was very polite to accepted. I order a Mango coconut delight and it was very good. Ordered came out fast. Place it's very small but has couple tables and some bar stool to seat. They have a big menu of different stuff that another day I will stop by again to check on it.

Quick take: fast and efficient I haven't had Quickly in a really long time. I was in the area and decided to order a Taro Milk Tee w/boba and popcorn chicken. The size of the drink was perfect. The popcorn chicken use to be a smaller portion. I got a big bucket of popcorn chicken. Very crispy and got the seasonings in pre-packed to go containers. Everything was inside a to go bag with sticks, straws, napkins and seasoning. The milk tea is okay. The customer service is 5 stars. Thank you!

Trifecta alert! Quality, Quantity, and Price were superb! We had the popcorn chicken - great taste, appreciated the 5 spice powder on the side for extra flavor. Huuuge serving for the price. I dare say it was almost too much for 2 people, but then my wife said, "you're just ungrateful!" Had the fresh watermelon slushy which was refreshing. Also the bubble waffle was solid.

The food and drinks are great! Lives up to its name - it's very quick. Service is friendly and you can either order at the front or use the kiosk. So many options to choose from and all are delicious. The view outside is beautiful, right by the water. Great safe community for after school snacks or hanging out. My favorite is the watermelon slush... and the champagne grape slush!

Oooof my childhood wrapped up in a boba store. I grew up drinking Quicklys several times a week in my teens (bittersweet when the Millbrae location shut down). I love almond milk tea ($4.99) but it's almost impossible to find at typical boba shops. It's always a huge surprise whenever I come across one that offers this drink. Fortunately, Quickly has always had almond milk tea on the menu. I just didn't realize that there were still locations near me! Some of the prices have doubled/tripled since my teen years, but the quality has remained the same. Not gonna lie, I miss the 99 cent drink options! The menu still looks as crazy as ever, but I love it. The Foster City location was super clean and the cashier was very nice. Will definitely be back for my almond tea fix or when I want to take a stroll down memory lane.

Think of an Asian 7-11 and you can get a sense of the place. It serves a variety of different Taiwanese foods, snacks, and your typical assortment of bubble tea, and other Asian drinks. The menu can look quite intimidating. To orient you, the drinks are on the left and the food options are on the right. Popcorn Chicken (3.5/5): Super generous portions of super crispy chicken. The batter itself could have used a bit more seasoning, but they do give you two different powders that you can dip the chicken. Egg Puffs (2/5): Tried the taro filling. This was a bit disappointing as the batter tasted much more like a pancake than the typical fluffy/bouncy egg batter. The taro itself was also too mild in flavor and could barely notice it was there. The ones at Meet Fresh in Downtown San Mateo are a lot better. Peach Slush (5/5): This was super refreshing and had great fruity flavors. We got it at 50% and I thought this was perfect. I would say that this is more of a peach drink with ice rather than a true slushy. Overall, Quickly is a good convenient place to grab some Asian snacks and bubble tea. You can likely find better options for each item at other places, however, if you are willing to drive around. I'd likely come back to try their different drinks as they have flavors I haven't seen at other places (e.g. Yakult), but would really only get the food if I was hungry and didn't want to bother going some place else.

Fun and refreshing, and not too sweet. I got a strawberry green tea with traditional boba. The order arrived quickly, and the ice wasn't even melted nice strawberry flavor, but not too sugary. Loved it!

Love the mochi waffles and the menu variety! I love coming for that and the spam musubi's.

Easy service (everything's on a kiosk) and it's good place for a quick meal, but that's it.

Fast service, big portions and ample waiting room inside! I highly recommend the popcorn chicken (can be shared between 2-3 people).

We prebooked the set menu. Boy was it a dining experience! From start to finish, every single dish was so deliciously curated. The waitstaff was also extremely friendly and did such a great job explaining all the intricacies of each dish. By the end of our meal, our tummies were full and the entire journey from appetizer to dessert was so satisfying. 808 Zone is truly a place that we will plan to revisit for our next special occasion.

The ambiance is a bit similar to a fast casual restaurant than that of a high end course meal and the service aligns with that. Bathrooms are in a bit of a sorry state and chairs are peeling at the edges. Service is a bit clumsy and rushed. No one asks for any food restrictions before the meal and it isn't asked when reservations are being made, so you'll have to actively speak up if you need this addressed. Dishes are only fully explained at the bar, if you sit at the standard tables you'll get a very basic dish explanation. The food is mostly Chinese Japanese fusion and some dishes knock it out of the park, like the chawanmushi which is fused with flavors of Chinese egg drop soup. Some really drop the ball, like the scallion noodles which were soggy and overly greasy, the oil was not properly infused with the green onion and so you just got mushy soggy plain oil flavored noodles. The course lacked consistency. Some dishes were incredible, some average, and some downright bad. There's a lack of consistency in the prep also, there were crab shells in the orange crab dish, there was a bad bitter uni in one of the chawanmushi, etc. I think the ambiance, service, and course doesn't add up to the $150 price tag. There's definitely potential but the lack of effort does affect the overall experience.

Overall: A+ // 6 stars…read more My favorite dim sum restaurant in the bay area that pays its respects to traditional dim sum done very well, with subtle elements of creativity interleaved for new and inspiring takes. The prices are at a premium compared to other dim sum places, but that is worth the consistency in quality and inspirationally exciting flavoral takes on Cantonese food. Black Garlic Cauliflower - Tender cauliflower of four colors; the black garlic adds a subtle umami note that does give life to the dish. Five Color Shrimp Dumpling - Love this take on shrimp dumpling, as theres so much opportunity to be creative here; I like the flavor inspiration of the five flavors, such as the green wasabi paired shrimp dumpling; however, I think some of the notes were on the subtle side and I would've liked the flavoral differences to be drawn more clearly. Peking Duck - Love their take on peking duck which has the emphasis on a large surface area of the crispy skin to meat so that the crispiness persists through bites. XO Scallop Dumpling - Flavorful seafood dumpling with an umami bomb coming from that topping of xo sauce and chili thread. Palette Soup Dumpling - Still my favorite conception of soup dumplings. The individual spoins makes the consumption stakes lower as the spoons will catch any soup that accidentally slips out; the vinegar caviar also adds a luxuorious touch as a fun complement. The key is to eat these dumplings while hot and soft. Wagyu Chow Fun - Comforting bowl of thick rice noodles with the essential smokiness of the wok coming through the beef and noodles.
