Before, i went another garage that told me my brakes were completely shot and needed to be replaced. They added other things that were dire need or I'd be stranded on a long trip. I recently found an honest and good mechanic shop Called Central Valley Auto repair. Mr. Muhammad is a very nice man and made me feel so relaxed and comfortable. I have been hearing and feeling a grinding noise on the right side of my Ford explorer truck for a while. I kept postponing to get it fixed due to not knowing any shops i felt i could trust. I started looking online for the best shops near me. I came across Central Valley Auto Repair. I took my car there and spoke with Mr. Muhammad, he said I would have to leave the truck and he will inspect and give me a call. He call me back shortly with a great quote for the parts and labor so told him to proceed with the repairs. A few minutes later he called me again and stated there was more issues that needed to be addressed with the repairs. The quote for the additional parts and labor was also great and fair. When I went to pick up the truck Mr. Muhammad informed me the truck was repaired and better than when I brought it in and if anything is wrong with his work to bring it back and he will fix it. As I drove the car home I kept thinking to myself this car is riding amazing feels like it was new. Before I reached home I got another call from Mr. Muhammad asking how was the car riding. Now that's what I call customer service. I told him I'm not taking my truck anywhere else for repairs. Central Valley Auto Repair has a customer for life! Mr. Muhammad is the Best!!!

I took my C300 to this shop and asked for a replacement of my backup light and washer fluid hose. Not the most difficult of work and the guy even assured me it would be fine. He ended up replacing my backup light with a used bulb that was dim and charged me 50 dollars for it. Next, he "replaced" my entire washer fluid reservoir when only the hose needed replacing . A panel from the bottom of my car ended up falling out 2 days later and all my washer fluid fell out. I ended up leaving with more problems than I had because I had to find someone who could put the panel back up. Avoid these people if you can.

Visit Date: July 24, 2019…read more So my check tire light went on and me being me ignored it because sometimes it goes on and my husband checks it and the tires are fine. So I bought my son to my sister's and went to leave her house to get to work and I noticed my tire was looking kind of flat. Being the maniac that I am, I said please let me get to work and hopped in my car and hoped to get to work with the tire the way it was. I made it luckily. So I called AAA and they suggested towing the car to a tire shop to fix it. My co-worker used Hewlett House of Tires in an emergency before so I told AAA that's where they should take my car. I barely had to do anything which is awesome! I got to stay at work AAA came and took my car and after work my co-worker dropped me off to pick up my car. The guy who took care of my bill was very pleasant. He was really busy juggling phone calls, trying to ring me up, get last minute stuff done on other cars before they closed for the day but he never lost his cool despite all that busyness and he never lost his pleasant attitude, great way to deal with customers! The bill was kind of pricey I needed two tires. I told my husband I got two flats, not sure if he paid attention so I'm expecting him to question the charge if he sees it lol. Tires are a lot of money though and you have to drive your car if you have one so what are you going to do. Overall my experience here was easy and pleasant. They called me to tell me what I needed and had the service done real quick. I was able to go on my way home, pick up my son and have a good night. Definitely a good place to deal with if you are in Hewlett and NEED a new tire.

When you first meet Kurt, you will notice his kind demeanor and his willingness to help you out. I…read morethought of Kurt as a great mechanic with integrity. We purchased a 2015 Audi Q5 with only 57,000 miles from Kurt. He most recently replaced the Driveshaft and assured us that the vehicle was mechanically sound. On the first drive, the car left us stranded on the side of the road, indicating a transmission malfunction fault. I called Kurt, but he was not interested in helping, he also mentioned that he does not warranty his work. So I took the vehicle to a reputable shop that lifted the vehicle to check it out. To my surprise, the Driveshaft was damaged due to improper installation, and, it was found to be a low quality Chinese driveshaft that cost 1/10th the price of the original. Just about any mechanic that you will meet will warranty their work, and own their mistakes (which is ok, we are only human) but not Kurt. Instead, I am left with a hefty bill and a vehicle that my mother is afraid to even drive now. This review is so that you, as a potential customer, are aware of the person that you are looking forward to doing business with. I would highly recommend using mechanics that will warranty their work, because mistakes do happen.

Josh, the owner and chief mechanic persuaded me to also have some maintenance work done at this time. My opinion of Everythingauto is confirmed. Josh is a very conscientious person and excellent mechanic. The downside still is difficulty of communication and cost. Because the shop is so busy, and Josh working hard, he is not easy to contact. And even though the results are first rate, the work is expensive. However, as long as I can afford it I will keep returning. I get the best results while helping a small independent business survive in tough times. Especially rewarding to support one with such high standards of performance and courtesy.

DISHONEST SHOP!! I…read morehave brought my car to Josh (owner) back when he was working out of a backyard garage on Merrick. It was a honest shop back then. Now that he has expanded h his business to Franklin Square...seems like customer service has gone down the toilet. He is not on site anymore and won't speak to customers even if there is a disagreement. There is a young guy behind the desk that seems to be running things now. I had an unfortunate encounter with him where he lied about calling me to approve services to my vehicle that I did not approve. I just wanted my brakes and rotors changed and that was confirmed when I dropped off the vehicle...only to be forced to pay for an extra tire rotation ($50 -while tires were already taken off already for brake job!) and coolant top off ($20) that was not pre approved (I had the tires already rotated that same morning at the dealership with an oil change!!). I understand that miscommunications can happen, but don't lie and tell me you called me to approve the extra services!! I have no tolerance for dishonesty!! PLEASE AVOID THIS SHOP AT ALL COSTS!!!
