Really good Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food truck! They came to visit Ventana Carlsbad and had a good variety of stuff to choose from. I got the loaded fries with lamb gyro. Full basket, and lots of toppings! They put pickles on top, which was a good idea. I don't normally eat pickles, but the flavors worked very well together. Everything is about $10 or $11, so typical food truck prices. Service was very quick and efficient. I will definitely be back when they visit again ! read more

Headed up to Civita park this evening for Tuesday food truck night and decided to give these guys a try. This place is wonderful. I ordered the loaded fries with chicken. The amt of food you get for the price is a bargain. It wasn't like it was all fries and no chicken. There was a lot of chicken. It was so much I couldn't finish it all. These guys came to the Pumpkin Station farm location in Escondido for a few hours today, and I ordered the loaded fries for a quick meal on my employee lunch break. They were so delicious! The chicken was tender, the sauce savory with just enough bite, and the feta cheese crumbles added some tasty tanginess. All the veggies on top were fresh, and the fries stayed crispy even with all the toppings on them. And I got three meals out of that one order, so that was a great value for my dollar. While the food was good, the service wasn't. I waited for almost 30 minutes to get my food. This was due to an error on the helper's part. I heard them call my name, and as I stepped up to get my place, someone else stepped in front of me and took it. I thought I made a mistake -- I thought I misheard them, even though I clearly heard my name. Well, after about 30 minutes and no food, I went up to the window to ask if my name had been called. They looked confused for a few seconds, then said yes, I was called. Well, I didn't get my food, so they made a mistake and gave it to the wrong person. I was then asked what I ordered, and since this other person ordered the same thing, I was given that person's plate. NOT COOL! I took the plate with a firm promise to never go to this truck again. The service is poor. They don't bother confirming the name when they hand out the food... they call it once and that's it. This is very poor service and needs to be improved. And a word of warning to food truck owners... you're already charging a premium for your service. If you make mistakes, don't expect people to be as forgiving as you'd expect. If you charge a high price, give high quality service. This isn't a bar and grill. Your service is not only judged by the person ordering your food, but by the people reading the reviews. read more

Not sure that I agree with other reviews. If you are going to charge $11 for a Gyno Sandwich, I would expect that you use fresh sliced gyno. The gyno tastes extremely soft, which almost tasted like prepackaged lunch meat. The rice tastes like they came from microwaveable rice bowl. Overall, the food is editable but not even close to be good food. read more

Absolutely Delicious!!! They were very friendly and helpful when I walked up to the order window. I ordered the chicken shawarma burrito- guy said it was a good choice and let me tell you... it rocked! It was like a California burrito but Mediterranean style - had some special ( probably "secret") sauce of some kind- the flavors were a party in my mouth! They offered the hot sauce- another awesome addition- like nothing is had before. When you get the chance- seek them out- it was well worth the 11 bucks - had rice and salad or choice of veggies- they did not skimp. Definitely a great bang for your buck! read more

I was pleased to see this food truck has some vegetarian options. I was excited to try their falafel wrap after reading a review about it but was disappointed to find out they were out of falafel. So I tried the the eggplant wrap instead. It was delicious. Possibly one of the best wraps I've had. It's a generous portion and served with a side of fries with a yummy dipping sauce. Just tried this food truck for the first time and I am in love with their falafel bites. Best I've had and I've tried them all. They are a bit smaller than average but really light, crispy, moist, fine, fresh and super tasty. Most falafel are too hard, too dry, too crumbly, too chunky, too greasy or too bland. These were cooked hot to perfection and they served them with a super generous portion of cool green lettuce, crisp Persian cucumbers and julienned pickles that were super fresh and yummy. The tahini sauce was also really good and was just enough sauce for the falafel. A real bargain. I hope to eat here often! read more
