    Lamb Bowl

Great food. Super friendly service. Came here for lunch and got the Lamb Bowl with harissa, added three falafel balls to try. Really great flavors and textures. Falafel held their shape and were very crispy. Harissa was delicious, but so spicy, recommend getting it on the side.

I came here on the weekend as I was lazy and wanted something healthy. I ordered online and it was really easy. Pickup was fast. I walked right in and grabbed my bag. The lady who was working was nice and even thanked me for supporting them! The outside is perfect for sitting and people watching while enjoying your meal. I loved the little table decorations with dried chickpeas! I got the falafel 50/50 bowl. The bowl was delicious. I love their falafel. They are really authentic and not dry at all, as they can sometimes be. I loved the 50/50 mix of greens and quinoa. The bowl was so fresh and I liked it better than the wrap I had the first time. I will be back and continue to support this place. The bowl includes: greens and quinoa base, falafel, cucumber and tomato salad, hummus, red onion, slaw, tahini drizzle.

I love the plant accent while eating.

*Can a Laundromat Trip Turn into a Flavor Journey?* So there I was, just minding my own laundry business at the Get It Clean laundry when my stomach started talking. Usually, I go the smoothie route, but the sign outside Falafel Heights boldly declared, "This Falafel Is Lit." And as someone who's lived a life full of lit experiences, I had to make sure this falafel lived up to the hype. *Is the Falafel Really... Lit?* It is lit. First off let's talk about the falafel. Dark green on the inside (which tells me it's fresh), crispy on the outside, and seasoned to perfection. The sumac dusting gave it that zesty edge I appreciated after finger licking. The portion? Perfect. Just enough to dip, nibble, and keep it moving. Once again I wanted a light snack in between my dinner in the next few hours. *What About the Sauces Though?* Speaking of dipping, I had 2 hummus and the mango (sweet and spicy goodness). And that hummus? Listen. I've had a lot of hummus in my day, but this one was next level smooth. Not next level flavorful because the falafel was perfect for dipping. Like... silk pajamas kind of smooth. What impressed me most? The garlic wasn't overpowering. I could run errands afterward without knocking anyone out with my breath. Respect. *Too Expensive? Really?* Now, let's address the people in the reviews expressing "too expensive!" As someone who's eaten falafel all over San Diego (ethnic spots included), this felt totally fair--especially for a sampler. And hey, if you know a place slinging cheaper falafel that's this good, drop a pin. I'll be there. *Should I Dine In?* The space? It's small but thoughtful. Inside, it's clean, modern, and culturally grounded, with a chronicled plate of the history of the Arabic-style wood door. Dude and Dudette, total beautiful vibe. Outside, the tables come with tiny succulent plants, like a little dinner date with nature. It's not a hang-out-for-hours kind of place--but you come, you eat, you enjoy, and you make space for the next hungry person. *Good to know* -Arrived on a Tuesday@ 5:00 p.m. No wait. No crowd. Next time I would like to wait because I want this business to be successful. -Service (5) Food (3.8) Olives (No-go) -Parking? You Already Know. It's North Park. I was smart efficient & walked up from the laundromat. Quick bite, fresh air, falafel joy. *Would I Go Back?* Of course. Next time, I might give the shawarma a go. But today? Today was a win. Authentic flavors, thoughtful touches, and definitely a return spot. "أنا من أرض الجذور العميقة، والكرم الذي لا ينضب. أرفع رأسي لأن هويتي شرف لا يُشترى." "I am from a land of deep roots and endless generosity. I hold my head high because my identity is an honor that cannot be bought."

Ordered from door dash on a whim last night and I'm so glad I did, this place is about to be seeing a lot of me. The falafel fries were absolutely incredible, I WILL be ordering again!

Chicken Shawarma Bowl with added falafel. So good 10/10.

This place is a gem. It's a tiny little spot so there isn't much room to eat in there. The falafel and chicken shawarma bowl is my favorite. (Add falafel - it's not on the main menu in there) this place is my favorite for falafel and shawarma - sorry shawarma guys doesn't even compare! I saw they a falafel burger, hoping to try that next time. Things to know: this place is not pet friendly inside.

We stumbled upon a cozy little falafel spot and from the moment we walked in, it felt like walking into a home. We were welcomed by Lialie, the owner of the shop and she was super friendly and engaging with her guests. She has definitely made an impression! Ordered the falafel fries, falafel wrap and chicken wrap, and the food did not disappoint! The falafel was perfectly crisp on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside --clearly made fresh to order. Each bite was packed with bold seasoning and a satisfying crunch. A beautiful gem in San Diego for falafel lovers, I highly recommend this place! I am eager to go back to try the rest of their menu :)

Saturday afternoon was packed. Tickets lined up, grill was H.O.T. Ordered Chicken Sharma wrap to go. 15 minute wait and welll worth it. Cashier asked if I wanted it spicy, I said yes please, found out after payment they charge extra $1 for spicy option, great way to upsell. Super flavorful ingredients that all compliment each other. Hot sauce/ spices stuf was very messy, but super worth it. Spicy, crunchy, tender, sour, all the flavors of the rainbow present. Definitely want to explore menu.

Wow, I was really impressed by how fresh and delicious their falafels are! The service is also very friendly and the a ambiance is very cozy and charming. The only downside was the bowl seems a bit on the dryer side for me, I wish it had more sauce and/or hummus. The fires were nice, but the Dubai Chocolate was amazing! It was small, but sooooo good!

Came to this place on a rainy day and the folks here are so sweet. This is definitely an underrated place in North Park serving some hot and fresh falafel combos. I loved the creativity of the menu, and the fries here are so incredibly well seasoned. I decided to get the falafel plate where I could choose different dips and got the hummus, toum, and mango sauce (which they were all awesome) and some fresh pita on the side. I also felt like this place was well priced and the folks here are just so nice I need to say it again.

Chicken Shawarma Fries and Chicken Shawarma Wrap

When I tell you that the chicken shawarma fries are the best I've everrrr had !!! Please do not skip. They're so delicious, everything is seasoned to perfection. All the ingredients complement each other so well. My friend got the chicken shawarma wrap which was also amazingly seasoned !! The chicken is delicious, everything tasted fresh and homemade. Aside from food. The owner was working when we went in and she was super nice and accommodating to our needs. Please give this place a shot. The inside is tiny but there are a few tables outside to sit at. Fries were $16 and honestly worth it for the gigantic bowl that came out. They offer water for sit-in dining. head's up, it's ofc tap. 5 Stars !!!!!

Falafel wrap, tahini, and mint lemonade
    Jaydyn V.

The food here is amazing. I've never had falafel before, and this place is great!! Light, fluffy and crispy falafel. I usually get a falafel wrap and a mint lemonade (which is really good btw). I think the food is worth the price. Except one time I asked for an extra side of sauce and it was $2 for a 2 oz cup, which is a little much in my opinion.

The food is was great and one of my favorite spots when I'm craving middle eastern wraps- I did built your own pita so of course I like the ingredients. I loved my pita bread (it's much different from the Greek style if you haven't tried it before!) and the enjoyed the steak in particular. It had a lot of warming spices (nutmeg and cinnamon maybe?) and the flavor is pretty unique! I added bell peppers, pickled cucumbers, lettuce, tomato, red onion, tahini sauce, and garlic sauce. I also got a piece of falafel - I always gotta judge a place by their falafel and this one was crispy on the outside and soft in the inside which was perfect. Next time I need to try the halloumi cheese stix with fig jam! Place was very clean and the decor was nice. I also love the Finjan coffee spot next door.

The staff is also consistently warm and kind, which makes the whole experience feel good from the moment you walk in. My only real frustration is with the wait times on online orders, and it's significant enough that I have to mention it. I work 10 min away and only get a 35-40 minute break. The app consistently quotes around 20 minutes- but honestly, 20 minutes shouldn't even be necessary. I've stood there and watched them make a bowl. It takes about two minutes. Other similar restaurants have my order ready in five minutes, consistently. So when the app quotes 20 and then I still end up waiting at the 20 minute mark on top of that - in a nearly empty restaurant - something is off. Today this happened (I hit the 20 min mark with no food), and I had to go up and ask them to make my order. This isn't a one-time thing either. It's happened enough times over the years that it genuinely deters me from coming here on my break. To their credit, there was a stretch where it seemed like they had it figured out, so I know they can do it. I just wish that consistency would stick. If you're not on a time crunch, absolutely go. The food alone is worth it. But if you're relying on a quoted pickup time, build in a buffer- a bigger one than you'd think you'd need.
