I have used Quick Restore twice. In 2024, my toilet overflowed and Edwin responded the same day. He was extremely professional, quick and did a great job separating the impact area from the rest of the house. They were very clean throughout the process. In 2026 we had a water heater leak. We were quick to shut off the water and remove the wet drywall and flooring. Antonio responded quickly and was extremely honest and helpful. Communication was horrible , no follow though from manager (rebuild)., poor planning, out sourced each process from rebuild to paint. Beware! They appear to be nice and helpful but if you don't have the money upfront, they will not even step foot in your house after they demo. Let's say your bathroom! ?! As part of our homeowners insurance claim that was approved the public adjuster that was supposed to be representing me I'm supposed to be on my side, hired this quick restore before I could even blink so even before the claim was approved, these yahoos came in they destroyed my bathroom, they ripped up flooring from a water leak, and then refused to come back in to remodel it, so all I have in my bathroom as of now is a toilet I have no walls I have no insulation, I take care of a 90-year-old who has dementia and as I told quick restore several times they need to come in please and make it safe for him to use the bathroom at least do the drywall put some grab bars up that refused to because he's on disability, and he didn't have $500 to pay him out of his $2500 deductible so as a result of that, he ended up falling cracking his head open and thankfully he is fine, he was in the hospital for four days and now he is in a facility where he has been for a month trying to get stronger so he can come home, to what I have no idea because we have no money to fix the bathroom because this quick restore took everything from our insurance claim approval funds! They are heartless. They don't care they don't have your best hearted interest.!! They came in through the plumbing company after the mess that the plumbers created by ripping into walls and the floors and don't repair. The plumbers must get a kick back for handing a lead to this over to QR. There is nothing "quick" about quick restore, except in their desire for you to overpay them. Super slow responsiveness and their quotes were orders of magnitude higher than elsewhere. Also, they would not break up the estimates - take it or leave it. The estimator could not leave the house fast enough when he heard that it was not going through insurance. They said one thing and then never followed through. *Warning!! Do not hire this business. We needed to have a sewer line replaced and the plumber brought in this company to do remediation for water damage, which was non existent. They then proceeded to do "testing" of walls which they said were damp. Tore out the drywall and the entire tile floor. We had to hire another company to complete the work as it was taking weeks with no communication from QR. We only heard from them when they wanted to be paid thousands for all the damage they caused. Our insurance wouldn't even pay for the tile floor as there was no water damage. We never got an invoice from them but the billing dept. called and bullied us for payment. What an awful company; do not use them. I only worked with them because my plumbing company brought Quick Restore over to my house after discovering some pipe that had rotted away in our bathroom. Lesson learned! I'm sure my plumbing company got a commission off of that. Awesome. Quick Restore burned through about $4k of my insurance money and all I got for that was asbestos testing and a complete joke of abatement. The thin plastic tarp that they hung up fell off onto the floor. They placed a big fan in the bathroom and ended up charging for it by the day (I also felt like it was there longer than it needed to be). The bathroom wasn't even finished being repaired, so once I hired another company to come in I actually had to pay for more asbestos abatement -- another fan, more tarp (this time, quality tarp that was actually put up properly and stayed up). Quick Restore was supposed to finish the bathroom restoration but they no-showed -- not once, but twice! And when I told them I wasn't going to hire them to finish the job because they no-showed, they didn't even bother to reply. The company I hired to finish the restoration did a great job. I'd like to note that they did not charge for the fan by the day; that seems to be a complete scam. Quick Restore was completely unprofessional and the "work" they did felt like a total money grab. I'm only grateful that they weren't more involved in the repairs and that a proper company took over. Do not hire them. read more

The mitigation team leaves defective equipment at the customer's house to drive up the electricity bill, the team doesn't respect the customer's house or the customer, and Quick Restore decides not to do the rebuild after trying submitting an estimate that includes unnecessary work and getting it rejected by the insurance company. It follows that the Quick Restore will scam customers by doing more work than is required if not held back by insurance companies from doing so. read more

The actual work restoring the kitchen floor, master bathroom, and bedroom closet after a sewer line break was completed adequately. So much for the good.... the bad and the ugly was they took seven weeks to finish everything and frequently didn't know who was at our house or what was being done on any given day. The actual fix and replace of the sewer line done in ten days. They chase plumbing companies and show up at your door making promises on doing the restoration that they can't fulfill in any kind of timely manner. If they show up at your door.... don't let them do anything. Call a verified highly rated company to do your restoration instead. read more

Do not use this company.They are the worst professional company we have ever used. We had a simple bathroom rebuild after a plumbing leak for a 90yr old vietnam veteran. The entire space , is two feet by three feet. After two weeks still wasn't done. When I complained about the extreme amount of time it was taking they said it would be another two weeks before they could finish it. They were rude.They are ridiculously poorly managed.They had fifteen people in here for 5 different kinds of jobs. The right hand did not know what the left hand was doing. First, I had issues with Ethan who was never responsive and dropped the ball in regards to scheduling the demo work at my home. Then when it was finally set, two workers were at my home and started demo on the ceiling. We left to go to dinner and asked them to lock up when they left which they did. However, when we returned home, my daughter went to the downstairs restroom which the workers were using and she found two baggies of drugs on the floor. We have 5 dogs and 2 cats, AND MY 6 YEAR GRANDDAUGHTER that could have found those baggies and get sick or WORSE. We contacted the company and didn't hear back from them for over 48 hours so I reached out again. We also called the police that night to file a police report. read more

6 months later my bathroom is still not complete. The company is not responsive and billing is terrible. Remediation and construction act like two different companies. The construction department will not help you get in contact remediation and vis versa. The bar is set so low these days for a good company. I had a water leak in my garage that damaged the ceiling and some of my wall. Quick Restore was recommended by a plumber. Larry and his mitigation team did a great job. Tian was my project manager and was super helpful with scheduling the movers to pack and store our belongings until the job was completed. Our installer was Miguel who repaired the damage and made everything look like brand new. No complaints just good customer service. read more

Our sewer came up under our tile and the plumbers dispatched Quick Restore. Trevor came out the same day and helped with documentation, detected all of the water damage and he got samples of our walls for testing for potential hazards. He also guided us through the insurance process. He was wonderful! I submitted my claim and got going on the plumbing repairs which included re-piping our entire home. Being displaced suddenly is hard, but QR had a team called "Boxed" to pack us out. They got their sample from the walls back in 1-3 days and we had asbestos, so they sent in the decontamination and containment team for the walls. They did the same when asbestos was discovered under tile in certain areas of our house. They sent someone to estimate damages and repair costs. Then Chase built an estimate for our insurance company and submitted it after our adjuster came out. After the plumbing was finished, they promptly began the demo process of removing all our tile and leveling and sanding, fixing drywall etc. Chase was very helpful and always willing to explain what was covered and not covered. We decided to have our own painter and they were ok with that. They assigned a project manager, Chris to oversee the teams and communicate with us if we had questions or concerns. Sadly, our tile was in stock when we chose it, and out of stock when we ordered it. So we had about a 3-4 week delay. Once it docked in Houston, I let Chris know that the subcontractors for the tile could start 4/12/24. They asked for 4/15, then 4/17, then they were "tired from coming off a job in Vegas" and started 4/19. I had asked for a full days work on that Friday, 4/19 and we also gave explicit instructions not to throw away any tile. On 4/19 only 6 tile were laid, that's right, just 6. AND we found some in our trash. This led us to get bids on what was left to finish our house. The given turn around was 3 more weeks, plus move in time. We ended up parting ways with QR in order to get home in less than 2 weeks. However, I told QR that they were wonderful, their subcontractors had lost them the rest of the job. If you go with QR- which I recommend you do, get Trevor, Chase and Chris. Have them handle all the initial mayhem and insurance and containment and demo. Have your own team do painting and tile though (we went with Zona Floors for flooring). That's my advice. :-) read more

I am a homeowner sitting here with my house torn apart and left to put back the pieces myself after dealing with this company. Quick Restore has been an absolute nightmare to work with. Rooter Ranger called them out after pipe broke and I had to have new pluming blasted through. "Not so "Quick Restore" was apparently called out to do mitigation and restoration part. Ethan Gray was supposedly my project manager. He is very difficult to reach, does not responded to text or calls. I even tried calling the office after being ghosted by Ethan and was told the issue would be escalated. It has been six days now and I have not heard a word back from anybody at their company. I feel like they took the insurance money and ran. I will be contacting my insurance company for an itemized invoice for what they have billed and been paid for to this point. If there are any discrepancies or over charges, I will be filing a complaint with my insurance company the BBB. This company billed my mom's insurance company and received payment for work that was never done. My mom had a leak in her kitchen. The company was quick to come and tear out part of the kitchen cabinets and counter. Dropped off fans to dry the area. She could not reach anyone for answers. Then several days later they came and picked up the fans. She never heard from them again. She ended up getting a great company to put everything back together. Now she had been notified by her insurance company that they paid this company over $6,000! I hope they get caught for insurance fraud! read more

Garbage company!! They got in through a reputable plumber for a pipe issue. Charged a ridiculous amount for TEN fans for two 8x10 ft bathrooms that kept blowing out the breaker in my condo. Came back unannounced multiple times a day. Ripped out drywall that was absolutely dry, and tried to hustle my insurance company for bogus extras. After over a week, I finally succeeded in kicking them out. They ripped out a bathroom vanity and left a huge hole to peek into the neighboring condo without permission while "getting their equipment" and left it that way. I hope my review helps other people like me who are not knowledgeable in this matter not to be taken advantage of. Even after a pretty bad experience with their service, I did not think writing a review but the situation went from bad to worse. I tried to get help from the manager as I always try to resolve things directly but that led to nothing. The company is unethical. I had a pipe burst causing a water leak affecting only one small cabinet in the kitchen and a small driveway area. The plumber who fixed the pipe referred me to this company. QR started the process very aggressively pushy wanted to start before insurance even had an approved estimate. This should have been my first clue.. I requested a quote from QR to make sure that their charge will not exceed the approved. They refused to provide and reassured me that anything extra would be submitted as a supplement to the insurance company and I would not be charged extra. I have made a mistake trusting this which is why I call it unethical as they simply lied. During their process of mitigation, they used a filthy dehumidifier covered in dust filters ( see photo) and they threw away custom tile and the other parts they were not supposed to and instead of saving the part so it could be matched .The custom tile was not replaceable so now I have mismatched tiles with the rest of the living space. Never received even apology. Instead, they are trying to charge me an additional of over $2000 of what insurance approved. The full approved amount was paid to QR . However, they are trying to charge me additional they fully promised they would not, and for which they never gave me a heads up of what will cost before the start. The delay of the rebuilding due to QR mistakes additionally cost me not being able to cook and having to eat out ( one income household ) and the stress of the process I cannot even put the price. This experience convinced me they prey on vulnerable and trustworthy people to take advantage of. Others I am guessing get better service. My advice: never accept referrals that seem like it is urgent -that is a trap. Research companies. Yelp seems to be more realistic. I wish I looked here . . It's astounding that a company whose mission is "clean up" and restoration is so amazingly unware of how their actions spread pathogens. Over the past couple of days a few different people from Quick Restore have worked on a situation at my chronically ill son's house. Although I explained the extent of my son's health situation to the first person to come by, he didn't pass on that information to the others who cam by the second day. In a business like this, it seems to me that communication among workers is of utmost importance. But, the other side of this issue is sending out different people everyday, when the same or two peopole should be doing the work, rather than however many they send. I got a call this morning from a third different person about continuing the work. Let me fill in some context that I had to explain to everyone who's come to my son's house. He has been ill for almost 20 years, in part due to an immune difficiency, which makes him prone to all sorts of infections from viruses, bacteria, and fungi. But, even when he doesn't have a new and active infection, he has severe daily headaches and can hardly get out of bed or do any sort of sustained activity. Even telehealth appointments for 10 minutes are difficult and will take days to recouperate from the "crash" that always ensues. As a result, any sort of disruption to his life, like the plumbers and restorers (?) that have been come to his house, will cause him to experience much worse symptoms, including nausea and vomiting for several days. And, then on top of that, he is, of course, very concerned about the spread of germs in his house. So, what do the Quick Restorers do when working on his bathroom? They are putting the toilet plunger, trashcan, rug, and other items from a toxic bathrom out in the hallway, including on top of his partially filled laundry basket. When he discovered what they had done last night, he went into a panic. With so little energy to do anything, just the idea of having to deal with the mess was hugely problematic. He is going to have to through away all of his clothes in the laundry basket, along with the laundry basket, and he's not sure what to do about sanitizing his hallway. How can a company that is supposed to clean up toxic situations be so very incompetent and clueless about how their own actions can be making things worse when it comes to spreading germs? This inability to actually think about what they're doing is extremely problematic for people who are struggling with illnesses, but it's also problematic for reasonably healthy people. In fact, it is this sort of action that can spread disease and initiate many of these sorts of chronic illnesses. And, now it's going to cost even more to replace his clothes and any other things that have been contaminated! If others have had similar issues with this company maybe we can look into a class action lawsuit. read more

They responded quickly to some water damage, they put an air mover in the area of the leak. The main thing they were interested in was that we sign the contract "we can't represent you without a signed contract". "we are not high pressure but sign the contract". We frequently asked for an estimate and after many requests we were told "we only give estimates when the job is done." That would not be an estimate it would be a BILL. This company made us feel like they were crooks and snake oil salesmen. WE WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THEM AND IF SOMEONE TALKS ABOUT HIRING THEM I WOULD TELL THE TO RUN,. An update to my former review. The price estimate specifically listed two coats of paint. We have found that only one coat of paint was used because there are places where the paint is coming off of the wall. Quick Restore has been working on the restoration of my main bath and kitchen due to plumbing issues since March 21st. It is now June 9th. They removed a custom corner cabinet that consisted of two shelves with lazy susans on both shelves entirely made of wood. When they brought the cabinets back, the only wood remaining was the front of the cabinet. They used laminated pressed wood for the shelving and god-awful lazy susans made out of resin. I honestly did not expect the quality of workmanship that I originally had, but I did expect better than the garbage I received. Not only was there poor workmanship, but there was also poor communication. If I wanted any updates, I had to reach out to Carlos and wait a day or two for him to return my call. I hope I never need to use a restoration company again, but if I do, it won't be this one. read more

Do yourself a favor and keep shopping, you DO NOT want to hire Quick Restore. I screwed up and jumped into hiring this company because my plumber referred me (I'm guessing now was solely to receive a finders fee from QR) and I didn't want to take the time to research abatement/emergency service cleanup companies- BIG MISTAKE. There is a laundry list of reasons not to use Quick Restore: -QR charges you/insurance for stuff they didn't do (I was billed for removal and reinstallation of my reverse osmosis system - I don't own an RO system). -For work QR is unwilling/unable to do, they quote you high prices to hire experienced sub-contractors but then choose the cheapest, most inexperienced workers, presumably hired from Home Depot parking lots, to complete the work and QR pockets the savings. -They make constant mistakes in both their estimates and the work they do forcing you to closely monitor and document everything. I strongly recommend taking before-and-after pictures so you have proof, otherwise they will argue that it was done correctly. -They drag their feet on repair work, be prepared to constantly follow up to remind them they still have work to do. It took QR a full year to finish the repair work on my kitchen after a drain line backed up. -They overcharge for the equipment they temporarily leave in your home. In many cases it would have been cheaper for me to go out and buy brand new equipment versus "renting" theirs ($50+ a day for floor fans/dehumidifiers, $100+ for a cheap plastic laundry sink) -They put very little effort into getting insurance company approvals. They will send one email and then make you pester the insurance company to pre approve the work so it can get started. For the price these guys charge, they should do a much better job following up and explaining to insurance why specific work needs to be completed. -Very little effort when it comes to matching existing tile, countertops, etc. Be prepared to do this yourself or end up like me with wonky, mismatched replacements through your your home. The one good thing I can say about Quick Restore is everyone that works there is very nice, but unfortunately the issues I had with these guys far outweighed their niceness. Trust me and choose someone else, you'll thank me later. read more

Let me start by saying there is NOTHING Quick about this company. We had a sewer line that backed up and as result the kitchen and bathroom had damage and the main line had to be replaced. Which actually went quite smoothly becuase another company came in and did the work, cut a hole through the concrete floor in the Kitchen and out to the back yard and replaced the line and sealed it al back up in less than a week. Then NOT so Quick Restore came in and did a walk through with insurance and myself. determined that the Kitchen & bathroom cabinets needed to be replaced along with the flooring and a couple of other things. since it was an older house the insurance only covered a portion of the Kitchen cabinet replacements which was determined up front and we picked out some simple cabinets, and they gave us a quote for the total project and what it would cost us above what the insurance covered. NOT so Quick Restore Project manager STEVE met with me a week or so later and laid a plan and a timeline, He said the whole project should be completed in 3-4 week becuase they needed to order the cabinets. That was in SEPTEMBER of 2023, Yes 2023. After that initial meeting I heard more excuses and stories that his guys got called off to another Job they will be here next week, Oh now someone is sick, Yada yada yada week after week Month after Month In the mean time there were no cabinets in the kitchen and no where to prepare meals, they had installed a ratty old utility sink in the middle of the kitchen it it was a FREAKING nightmare. About the end of February last year Steve asked if I would would like to go pick out the countertop, he contacted the place and said after I picked out the Counter top he would go pick it up and install it. Well come to find out the shop was relocating and he never went and picked up the Countertop so the countertop I purchased was sold tom someone else WTF are you kidding me. Then for the next few months after we finally picked out another top he kept telling me that he couldn't get anyone to cut the hole for the sink into the countertop. It was just 1 story after another. When the got the Cabinets that they special ordered to fit the kitchen, THEY DIDN'T FIT. OMG so they had to order again and then when the were installed the installed the top cabinets about 6 inches higher than normal. so then had to remove them and lower them. It was just one thing after another with these guys. Then they told me that the project had went over budget and I needed to sign a form approving another $4500 to cover the costs. Becuase it cost more than expected for the countertop and more for the cabinets and more to run an electrical line. What a bunch of BS The kitchen was shambles it had been over a year and now they won't do anymore work until I sign the paper to pay them another $4500 I finally signed, just with the hope that they would finish the project. FINALLY a month ago the project was finished 17 months after it began. my word of advice to anyone who is thinking of using NOT Quick Restore is FIND SOMEONE ELSE even if it costs a bit more. WORST, WORST, WORST EXPERIENCE WITH A REPAIR COMPANY EVER. read more

If your plumber suggests this company comes out, avoid at all costs. They inflate time on job, costs, and work performed to overinflate bills to insurance company. They will not quote any costs up front and were shady about the bill. When trying to negotiate to pay a reasonable rate, they send you direct to collections or legal. 5k to run some box fans on your power - definitely a scam for folks in duress who need help and are susceptible to being taken advantage for lack of knowledge about plumbing. I would not suggest this company or if you do, I would ask for costs and quotes up front and not involve your insurance company as it seems they work really hard to fabricate jobs to create more billable work to you or your insurance. An overall awful experience - to think people scam those already dealing with tough financial situations are out there is pretty bad. Long story short I had to break my lease 6months early due to the mold they said they fixed, not being fixed. I am writing this on behalf of my elderly grandparents whom they took complete advantage of. My grandpa was very patient with them, putting up with poor communication and sloppy jobs for months before finally confronting the site manager. Justin, his brother, and the crews they worked with are extremely unprofessional and will stop at nothing to make sure they have taken advantage of you to their fullest. What started as a simple clogged pipe ballooned into a months long process costing my struggling grandparents tens of thousands of dollars to their insurance and if my grandpa had not been as smart as he was they would've tricked him into wasting a lot more than that. They tore up old pipes, sewer lines, flooring, concrete foundation, and drywall all for a clogged pipe. Every time they came to fix an issue three more appeared. They cost my grandparents as well as I thousands in personal damages as well which they were insistent they were not liable for. Computers, appliances, carpeting, and a number of personal belongings were either left damaged or needing replacement. That's not even mentioning the fact they caused two small electrical fires while moving appliances due to their negligence. And nearing the end of the entire process, the job they tried calling done was abhorrent. When I confronted the crew for cutting corners, they cussed me out and proceeded to do a worse job than before. To this day we have moulding that doesn't match the flooring they installed, transition pieces my walker bound grandma can't walk over, appliances that need to be replaced, chips in our walls, spots of an obvious drywall repair, unlevel foundation, missing and destroyed baseboards, and much more. There was a general sense of not knowing what they were doing the moment they got here, they forgot to put tarps up three times and flooded our house with dust. Three separate times and I mean who knows what that did to our lungs or the lungs of the cats who live in the room they worked on the most. Once when tearing up the foundation, again when installing the drywall, and again when tearing up the bathroom tiles which caused a significant amount of personal property damage every single time it happened. The crews never showed up on schedule, took frequent breaks, and even gave the entire house covid because they refused to wear masks. It's clear to me they take pride in taking advantage of the elderly and if I wasn't here I doubt the job ever would've gotten to the point it is now, even though they never came to finish the job. read more

This company is a JOKE, they will start your project and then not inform you of anything they are doing unless you keep calling them, and then half the time you have to leave a message and hope they call you back. They worked with us with our insurance claim and our adjuster. When a final deal was written up they began work. Only problem was I was on top of them with the completion and going over the paperwork and I spoke with Casey the project manager about half of the items I was billed for that was not completed. Once the project was done we discussed the paperwork again and Casey told me he would send someone out to go over the paperwork with me and then they would review it. It has now been 3 weeks now since the paperwork was reviewed and I was told the paperwork was thrown away and I would have to print it out again and resubmit it. !!!DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Had a water leak originating from master shower that penetrated bathroom wall into master closet. Called a plumber out. Plumber immediately recommended Quick Restore LLC (QR). Plumber contacted QR. QR tech evaluated and suggested immediate remediation as it appeared damage was due to "pipe break". Tech said moisture readings indicated water saturation in all bathroom walls as well as water working its way under the floor tile toward master bedroom. QR crew came in and set up dehumidifiers, fans, and an air scrubber. Original QR tech recommended an insurance claim be filed and assured me he works with insurance providers and there would be no issue with claim approval. During the next three days, QR techs would stop by my house to take readings. Upon arrival, QR techs would sit in their van outside my house for 30-45 minutes before coming in. They would then come in to take readings that took no more than 5 min. Techs would then sit in their van outside of my house for another 30-45 minutes afterward. On the third day, insurance provider sent out a leak detection company. Leak detector discovered a hairline separation of grout in the shower floor. Not covered by insurance. I let QR know claim had been denied. QR removed equipment and tech said he would do what he could to get the claim approved. The claim denial could not be overturned, and I never heard from QR again. Received an $8,300 bill from QR a few weeks later. Grossly over charged labor hours and equipment rates. Some equip never ran as circuit panel couldn't support power load. QR techs knew this. Disputed most charges and ended up sending in a lower payment with paid in full verbiage on the back of the check. QR eventually cashed the check after several months. In the end the damage wasn't as severe as QR indicated and I feel taken advantage of. QR's business practices are borderline criminal. Save yourself some money and hassle and avoid this company at all costs. read more
