Extremely rude and unprofessional! I could have done my own paperwork with DMV for less hassle. Bought my car on 7/29 and still has not gotten the plates, title or registration info. Called them several times for updates- they acted like they don't value my business. Did reach out to my dealership to let them know of my bad experience. read more

I came in to get information about a classic car that's been non-operational for a few years. It's a family heirloom and I've been trying to get it on the road for years. Immediately upon walking in, I was greeted in a professional and friendly manner. They proceeded to to get my information in the back story and they asked a lot of questions which turned out to benefit me in a big way! They are trying to help me wave lots of back fees with a loophole that they know about so this paid for itself! While I was here I had them an update registration for my motorcycle and they gave me tags on the spot! No DMV+ Great service 5 stars read more

This place is fantastic. I can't believe I ever wasted time at the DMV. I was in and out in under 10 minutes. They handled my address change and registration renewal on the spot... printed everything and gave me the sticker right away. Shelly was so friendly and efficient. If you value your time, the service fee is 100% worth it. Highly recommend! read more

I met Crystal who was super friendly and helpful as soon as I walked in. She was able to assist me to get my out of state/car registration car going in a quick matter. I definitely recommend coming here! read more

Fast, easy, and worth every penny to avoid the pain of having to deal with the DMV! The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I had my VIN verified, they helped me request a new title for a car that I purchased out-of-state, and got me set up with plates/registration right away. read more

I felt beyond overwhelmed when I tried to transfer my North Carolina car registration to California (...perhaps a little late, since I've been back in Cali for a few years now). This self-induced nightmare--awakened by sudden parking citations due to "stricter regulations in 2024"--demanded multiple trips to the DMV...only for me to receive different instructions from different employees. FINALLY, after weeks of agony, anxiety, and head-bashing my keyboard (if you think the DMV itself is bad, try using their online services), I resolved my out-of-state registration frustration--in less than 2 hours, within one afternoon. More accurately, Quick Plates left my stressful situation in the dust. The entire staff struck me as exceptional--especially on a Friday afternoon, only a few hours before closing--and although I didn't catch everyone's names, Crystal and Shelly went above and beyond. Professional, kind, and knowledgeable: they identified my issue within a single phone call faster than the DMV had stuttered out conflicting instructions over multiple weeks of in-person visits. Only endure the DMV if you can't find the same service offered at a place like this. For auto-anxious patrons like me: finally, relax and rejoice. QuickPlates fuels resolution in the most expedient, least judgmental way. ALSO: If you are directionally-challenged (hey, we can't all be good at everything), look for the Smoke Shop to find QuickPlates. Yelp exterior photos were extremely helpful for finding this diamond in the rough (strip mall). read more

Purchased my Wife's Christmas present out of state, and the dealer was less than helpful, sent me a title that had been transferred twice out of state. Attempted to gain entry to the DMV, four hours later, failed, then did a quick search and found these two wonderful lady's @ Quick Plates that handled everything needed like a couple aces!! Walked out with new plates for the car within 20 minutes, AMAZING WORK...THANK YOU VERY MUCH!! I am now a customer for life, money well spent. Do yourself a favor and head over there, they got you covered. read more

Man, I love the City Of Huntington Beach. They make it quite easy to not have to hassle with DMV sometimes when trying to license your vehicals. I came here recently to get a proper license plates for one of my cars i wanted to sale, and i went through a rather easy process in getting it done here at Quick Plates. They gave the color i wanted it, and the style i liked, and i was a happy camper. So were the people that purchased my old car. read more

I fricken love this place !! So convenient and easy. They helped me with my delinquent registration and recall on my vehicle. They will walk documents into the DMV for you if you dont have the time or patience to deal with DMV wait times. The ladies here are so kind. I recommend this place to all my friends when they have any DMV business to handle. Expect an additional processing fee from them but i think its absolutely worth it. THANKS QUICK PLATES!! read more

I came here for a service I wasn't even sure was possible to get. Everyone there worked together to help me instead of just telling me they couldn't do anything for me. The amount of care they have is very welcoming and shows they want to actually help you. Walked out after an hour with my problem handled and at a very reasonable price. I will not be going to the DMV for any car registration purposes again. read more

We just finished registering our RV that was purchased out of state. Quick Plates handled everything seamlessly and I was so grateful not to have to tow the RV to the DMV or stand in any lines. Shelly and Quick Plates made it so easy for me to renew my car registration, which was late. I will be returning in the future, as it is so convenient and you don't have to wait at the DMV. They even let me bring my dog in his stroller, and the fees are reasonable to avoid a headache and long wait times at the DMV. read more

Have been using these nice ladies for over a decade. They always take care of my DMV needs, no matter how complicated. We use them for a lot of classic car paperwork issues, and they always come through. The last title issue seemed daunting, as previous owner was not to be found and buyer moved out of state.. and they figured out a way to get it resolved. Thanks!! read more

Thanks for the great service, quick, organized, and diligent!! Made my VIN verification, out of state registration easy, and with zero issues. Thanks again!!! read more

Lady was extremely rude and said "Sir I already answered that question" even though she never did and was vague about what I needed for a registration. I said no you didn't say and she responded with a quick "yes, have a good day" and proceeded to hang up on me. I don't know why employees feel so comfortable being rude to their own customers but I hope the owner of this business can see this feedback and understand why I'll just go somewhere else. The employee did say she was the only person working at the moment and needed to help a customer but that's no excuse to be rude and tell me in that Karen tone that she already answered my question when she never did! It took longer giving me that attitude than it would have just answering me with a yes or no. Go somewhere where the employees have some respect and customer service! read more

If you want to skip the dmv, come here. They are efficient and you can take care of multiple dmv related items. I had a title transfer and tags. I had to get a smog check and they gave me details on what I needed in order to come back and pick up my items. You will pay more than at the dmv but the time saved is priceless. read more

I paid for my number plate last week and was expecting delivery later today, but it hasn't arrived. Upon checking my email again, I noticed it mentioned that I need to provide certain documents. This requirement was not stated during the ordering process. I emailed them to request a refund, but they refused. The documents they requested are typically provided before the issuance of the plates, not afterward, and some companies don't even require these documents at all. read more

I'm a little late making this post but I will say Despite some of the bad reviews I had a really Positive experience. This was my first time buying a car out of state , the dealer took 2 months from the date of purchase to transfer my information over to Quick Plates . I made the drive down to Quick plates from LA . It was kind of hard to find but no big deal , the two women who were in there were busy but they both made an effort to acknowledge my presence. I was there a total of 20min got my registration and plates and was good to go. I will definitely use them again if needed . read more

I love this place! I recently bought a new car and wanted to transfer my personalized plates to it.
