Do not go here they are scamming people. I went on dmv's calculator and they quoted me $300 for a title transfer from out of state. After going into ez auto, they quoted me $500, $100 in "plate fees" and another $100 for their services. Please don't go here there's a reason why they have no workers. My total visit time was 9 minutes. I felt iffy at first doing my registration here because, it's not the DMV. I made two phone calls prior to my visit to ask questions. I really didn't want to go to the Dmv since I know I'll easily kill 45min of my time. Anyways, I came out from EZ Auto very satisfied. Here's my story about EZ Auto License..... I bought a vehicle online from a small dealership out of state. When the car arrived I waited a couple days and then had it smogged. I knew that the DMV was in shambles and crazy busy right now because I recently took my son to the DMV to get his learner's permit and we waited 4 hours. There was no way in hell I was going to wait at the DMV to get my newly purchased car registered so I went to AAA and found out they don't handle out of state private party vehicle purchases. I immediately Googled various terms to find a place to get my newly-acquired used vehicle registered and found EZ Auto License. I called them first to get some information and went down Saturday afternoon and they were super easy to deal with and even gave me the name of a VIN verification guy who would come to my house. After I obtain the VIN verification, I went back to EZ Auto License and turned in the paperwork as well as paid the local sales tax and registration fees. My plates just came in the mail the other day and I'm just waiting for the DMV to send the title. EZ Auto License knows their stuff and it's super easy to work with! I found this place by chance, and glad I did! I was in a jam and needed to obtain a temporary moving permit in order to get my vehicle out of a tow yard! I called and spoke with James, who was very helpful in walking me through what supporting documentation was needed to issue the permit! This place is poorly managed and the people in here don't have the first clue about their field of work. They have to call someone for any type of question you ask because they don't seem to know the information. I felt extremely discriminated against and unwelcome. I asked for something very specific and they called their broker and they said they couldn't do it. But they didn't word the question correctly. There was a nice young woman who was calling back to ask the question worded in the exact way for me to file the specific insurance I needed and it turns out that they can do it. But halfway through the phone call the bigger guy that works here got up and suggested I go somewhere else. He was extremely passive aggressive and rude. This is AFTER the girl figured out that she could sell me exactly what I needed. The big guy kept interrupting me until I left. Seems like a shady business too because I got a quote for liability on my bike from progressive thru EZ autos broker and when I priced shopped it at the place down the street is was over double what EZ quoted me. There was problems back in the day with these little half ass insurance places photoshopping proof of insurance and running with your money. I'm not sure if this is the case with EZ but it does seem professional and too good to be true. Not to mention they don't have the first clue about insurance and if you ask for proof or a very specific question they'll ask you to leave: maybe so that you don't realize they're crooks. But I don't know-- they might be really great people and a solid business. This is just my experience. But potential clients and customers shouldn't be treated with disrespect... read more

I love the fact that I can get my registration done here rather than having to wait in line at the DMV. I was a day late in registering my car and needed to get it done as soon as possible. The woman at EZ Auto License was very helpful and helped me get this done. I also was having a hard time updating the address on file (I was hoping to do this online but apparently leased cars are especially complicated. Hello DMV, it's 2016). They helped me get this matter fixed as well. I feel like the DMV loves to make things complicated and give you the run around. I had an old Acura CL that has been parked outside of my car for a few years. My husband and I meant to sell it, but never got around to it. We knew this would be a hassle to fix and we hate going into the DMV so we called EZ Auto License for help. In a few hours, they were able to update us on the status of our vehicle. Our registration had expired for over two years and we somehow incurred a few outstanding tickets. We asked them to handle this issue for us for a nominal fee. Through them, we were able to pay our outstanding fees, update our registration and register our vehicle as PNO (Planned non operation) so we can finally sell the vehicle. The best part of all, we were able to fix all these issues with minimal stress and wasted time. my bday just recently passed. my friend gifted me his motorcycle. went to get a title transfer. i literally live down the street from ez auto license; didn't want to spend my time at the dmv. i came in and got a quote . i knew there was gonna be a handlers fee. the total came out to be 250$ just for a title change and new registration. i asked them to break down the fees for me so i have a better idea of what costs how much.. they were charging me 150$ for the new registration. i had asked why so high? and they replied with that's what the dmv is charging. i went to the dmv and got charged 135$. lol next, they charged me 25$ for the gift certificate paperwork. i went to the dmv and they charged me nothing for it. then, they charged me 27$ for the title change and dmv only charged me 15$! lol then of course, their fee of 65$. i went to the dmv, spent 30 minutes there and walked out paying 150$ for my new registration and the title transfer. those girls that work the front think i don't know nothing. they tried to charge me for something that don't even exist. they tried to charge me extra for my registration. this place is bogus. their fees are too high. the water store down the opposite direction don't even charge that much. i ain't never coming here again. read more
