Monster Burger - thinner than my bacon burger and...is that ham/turkey/what, on top....idk.

It's quick AND.....the only things that are "tasty" here are the SHAKES! Don't bother with the food - burgers, fries and onion rings are not worth it! I get it, it's the end of summer, everyone is at Bear Lake, getting a raspberry shake, but all of the food came out over fried and hard. I had never been there, but my poor husband, who remembers their food being so yummy and good, from past years, was sorely disappointed. There was no use in complaining, because the lines got crazier and crazier. We ended up sitting in our cars, because all of the garbage cans, near the seating areas were overflowing and teeming with flies. You don't want to eat near that. Yuck! If you've been around for YEARS, you'd think they're be some sort of clean up process, but guess not. Overall, I wish we just got a shake at Baskin n' Robbins, than had waited here forever.

Mint, oreo, chocolate caramel and raspberry shakes!

Everyone knows when you go to Bear Lake, you have to get one of their famous raspberry shakes. We got those and some others on a Friday night. The wait was about 20-30 minutes, but it was worth it. I had the raspberry and it was creamy, not super sweet and had bits of raspberries in it. We also ordered some of their fries. They weren't greasy or salty, but were a bit soggy. However, paired with the shakes, they were delicious. They have so many flavors to choose from that you can find something you'll like, but definitely make sure to add a raspberry shake to your order!

Still the greatest raspberry milk shakes anywhere. Since last years visit, size of the milk shake has gone down and the price has gone by - dollar. A small shake is now $6.00. Kind of pricy. But I love them and will go back.

Not impressed, in fact, shocked that these shakes are the prices they're at. Small shakes are $5.49ish and the LG shakes at close to $7. We ordered a chocolate, cookie dough, strawberry, and the raspberry shakes. Chocolate was good. Cookie dough was also good, but could've had more cookie dough, strawberry - nope, and Raspberry ehhh ok. I don't even want to know how small the fries and burgers are! When we got the shakes they were melted and dripping when they gave it to us. All the flavors were subpar. You could literally go to Taco Amigo for a big shake for the a cheaper rice and yummier. The ambience was ok and the staff seemed very nice, but it did take forever to get shakes since there were SO many people. Overall, was not a fan and do not plan to come back here unless the lessen their prices for the products we get.

So what do you do in Bear Lake Utah...wellllll for me...Run three half marathons in three days...of course!! However once the running is completed...this tummy of mine is ready for something good...and on the last day of races, I decided to treat my stomach to some famous raspberry milk shake from Quick-N Tasty food shack. Its not a restaurant...however there is plenty of outdoor seating around the pick-up spot. There are over 20 flavors of shakes that one could purchase, however since it was known for raspberry shakes, I settled for raspberry. It was good...it was very thick...almost soft ice cream but too thick to be a shake. I would say a friend purchased blackberry, and really that was the best flavor they had. If you ever find yourself in Bear Lake, make sure to check out Quick -N Tasty...its worth the trip and the serving is huge so bring an empty belly!!

4 stars for being the only shake joint open in May on a weekday! Yay!! I loved the homeade fries, fry sauce (classic), and my chocolate raspberry malt. 10/10 would visit again!

Super thick, super yummy raspberry shake! Nice girl working at the counter with a good attitude even though they were really busy and it was pretty cold outside. Can't wait to try the Bear Lake Monster, whatever that is.

When in Bear Lake what else is there to do besides eat a famous raspberry shake or chose from the other 20 plus flavors. They definitely do mot disappoint. Expect a line but it goes quick n service is great

All I got was a raspberry shake, but it was super good! Honestly, most all the raspberry shakes I tried in this town taste very similar. The coveted wagon they have is super cute. Nice/fast service

Quick N Tasty! Best raspberry shake in Bear Lake area!

Good meat flavor, the bun is soft and doughy and holds up nicely. I would have liked the meat a little less well done. One complaint I have was I added all the extra toppings and they left off mushrooms, and the portion of the toppings is small. We ordered 4 shakes and everyone loved their shake. One was the bear lake special, dole whip, rasberry ice cream, my son said it was the best shake he's ever had. Butterfinger shake was delicious, Rasberry Oreo was great, and a chocolate banana peanut butter malt, amazing.

Word of advice: you'll be fighting for shaded seating, and the shakes are pretty good. But this place wouldn't be my first choice in the area. For someone that likes something more in depth: The Burger Barn is a subtle burger joint with entirely outdoor seating and lots of parking. Though I will say, the lack of shade here is quite a surprise, honestly I was prepared for people to start fighting over the few umbrellas that were available in the seating area. The burgers and shake that we got came out pretty quickly, and I quite enjoyed the quality of the ice cream. The burger was okay, I could tell that the meat was fresh and quality, which I appreciated. Though I will say that the taste didn't knock me out of the park, it just was another burger for me(and they didn't take off the tomato's or pickles that I requested to not be on there). I will say the fries and fry sauce were good. I'd come back for just fries and a shake if I'm back in the area. But with that being said, you do have more classic/iconic Garden City spots for food right across the street. So if those are busy and you don't want to wait, then this may be a decent option. 3/5

I had a few special requests due to me sharing my burger with my dog and they did not disappoint. The shake was really good. Blended well. I had raspberry and Oreo cookie. It would've been nice to taste a little more raspberry in the shake. They pride themselves on using fresh raspberries and that is the reason. Fresh fruit mixed with dairy tampons the tartness and dulls a lot of the sweetness.. I believe macerating some raspberries and sugar and finishing with some fresh lemon zest or even a little lemon juice and adding that to the fresh raspberries would knock it out of the park. I put it on the floorboard so my dog wouldn't get at it and accidentally knocked it over. It was so thick that only the huge amount that sticks out of the cup touched the floor mat. Awesome!!!!!!! I got the biggest burger they had. A half pound with two kinds of cheese and pastrami burger. It wasn't called a pastrami burger so I'm not gonna complain that it's just one thick slice. It was more like how you would add bacon to a burger. All the veggies were super fresh. Their choice of bun is the best bun I've had since my road trip began a week ago. Here's my opinion on the burger. The burger had no beef flavor. The only flavor came from the wonderful charcoal grill marks on the burger. Don't be afraid of salt. It's a chef's favorite condiment. The biggest complaint and my only true complaint is that the burgers have a horrible texture to them. Like two quarter pounds of beef breakfast sausage. Not good. If somehow it is how ground I'd recommend using a smaller die and leaving out the transglutaminase. Dog loved it. Would I come again? I sure would. Mos Def

This was my second visit, and unfortunately it was almost identical to the first. The welcome was not very friendly, and our waitress walked by the table several times before finally speaking to us. After that, she never really came back to check on us, ask whether we needed anything, or see how the food was. The next thing we knew, she was dropping off the bill. We ordered two appetizers, but only one was brought out. I also clearly mentioned that I have a food allergy, and she said she would let the kitchen know. Even so, the appetizer arrived with the ingredient I'm allergic to, and nothing was said about it. On top of that, the salad came with the wrong dressing. That said, the seared ahi tasted fresh, and the greens with salmon really hit the spot. The food itself was enjoyable, which makes the service issues even more disappointing. It is hard to overlook a missed appetizer, the wrong dressing, and especially the mishandling of a food allergy. This place has a lot of potential, but the service definitely needs work.

The salmon Benedict was super light on the salmon (like 2 thin strips per each piece, actually pretty disappointing for the price.) Chicken in the waffle and the biscuit dish were fried chicken breast (not sponge meat) and hot and juicy. Stuffed French toast was good as well. Overall, not a bad experience given the lake views in the background. They have the old school mixer (the kind you see on re-runs of Petticoat Junction) and I am of the understanding the use real razberries which is an upgrade from the similar shake found at McDonalds. High - clean. Place is a little off but so is the entire town. I noticied one poster commented how the bathroom had no toilet paper. I did not inspect that situation. Low - Took 43 minutes to get the frickin' burger. The burger itself was plain, somewhat tasteless, and generally underwhelming. Burger is a two star situation. Fries were as expected from a town that basically goes out of business after Labor Day weekend. Gift shop analysis - I have no comment. Not the same stuff you find on Amazon though. Pro Tip - use the drive through. The staff is kids, nice and all but just not the brightest group, especially when some tour bus rolls in and the cashier forgot to send a bunch of tickets back to the line cook. That is when problems start. Summary - Eat here in a pinch. Stop in for the shake and cut your losses on the food.
