[[HIGHLIGHT]]we got a raspberry shake & chocolate shake![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] the line was super long when we walked up but it went so so fast. we only had to wait about 10 minutes for our shakes to be ready! [[HIGHLIGHT]]the raspberry shake was super yummy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]had fresh raspberries which made it 10x better.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]personally, could have had even more raspberries but that's more of a personal preference![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

If you go to Bear Lake and don't stop at La Beau's...did you even go to Bear Lake? This place is a summertime rite of passage. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The raspberry shakes? Iconic. Thick, creamy, and loaded with real Bear Lake raspberries--like a love letter to your taste buds.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Bonus points for the crispy fries and good vibes even when the line's long (which it almost always is, and for good reason). Pro tip: split a large shake unless you're ready to commit to a full-blown sugar nap on the beach. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nostalgic, delicious, and totally worth the hype.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] 5 stars but 4 stars because you do need to be prepared to WAIT in line, for a decent length of time during the weekends.

The BEST raspberry shakes in Garden City, in my opinion. My photo doesn't do it justice. After trying shakes at a few establishments, La Beau's easily took the top spot. The flavor is so light and fresh and unique. It reminds me of homemade ice cream in the very best way. The service was surprisingly fast and the prices are adequate for the area. You absolutely need to try La Beau's shakes the next time you're in town.

For starters the cute girl taking orders at the window was super helpful! I was having trouble picking just 1 flavor from all the delicious options for their shakes. She recommended the huckleberry and it was sooo yummy! We also ordered corn dogs, tater tots and onion rings - all delicious. Update - we liked it sooo much that we came back this afternoon for round 2 of shakes before we headed out of town.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]super yummy and large portioned raspberry shakes. thick and lots of raspberries.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] we didn't try their burgers but they have lots of options for food too. the staff was friendly and my shake came out within a few minutes of ordering.

Amazing food - I got the mushroom and pastrami - (thought it was a Reuben before)and I'll forever get the same thing. [[HIGHLIGHT]]If you get a shake make sure it's a large one!(they only have "regular" but make sure it's not a small...[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]I Highly recommend this place- we will be coming here every summer as long as we are stationed at Hill! Only downside are the prices- it gets pricey when you have a large family like ours! I'd love to see some family deals!

La Beau's is a classic. I've been coming here since I was a girl and will always stop by during their open season for their Raspberry Shakes! [[HIGHLIGHT]]They are the best and a winner every time![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Kid enjoying the best shake in Bear Lake

I've been going here every summer I've been at Bear Lake, which is most of my life. There is much more competition over the last few years (cough cough Zips). And I have to say, their shakes cannot be beat. Raspberry, obviously, peanut butter Oreo, yep, burnt almond fudge w mini marshmallows, life changing. Add some tater tots and the turkey avocado on sour dough and you're in for a treat. The service is fine, the outdoor seating could use a lift but mostly the tradition of going to LaBeaus outweighed any of the cons.

    Chicken club sandwich

The tater tots are still my absolute favorite here, but the chicken club wasn't quite as good. They definitely use a different type of chicken patty than they used to. It was still good, just not amazing like it used to be. The peanut butter cup shake was still delicious as always! It's my favorite! I'll definitely be back for more tots and I'll probably try a different sandwich or burger.

It was so yummy. We had chicken nuggets, onion rings and a la beau's burger. We enjoyed everything. It was not very busy, thank God. So, no waiting for ever to give our order or get our food. Casual ambiance.

Going to Bear lake? Get a raspberry shake at LaBeau's! That's what we heard from multiple people. So we did. First off, if you are contemplating going to bear Lake- go! Super cute lake town with little hops and restaurants. Cute lodging places and the lake is stunning! Second, LaBeau's is alright. I did get the raspberry shake. It was ok. It did not shatter my world. But I can share the girl at LaBeau's was super friendly. wanted to know about our accents and we talked for a few minutes about Broadway plays! Overall the people in general here are very nice. So nice my daughter asked why did they say hi to us? My response, it's a nice place. People are on vacation or just enjoying the lake town. Say hi back! If you find a hucklebnerry shake in the area- try that! I had one close by in Montana and I want more!

    Large raspberry shake.

Be aware there are no refills on drinks. This place is usually packed around peak meal times. They are usually fast and efficient. Limited menu and nothing unique but homey burgers with the fixings. They put fry sauce on everything and pickles are always included. The chicken tenders are just ok, the kiddos in our family probably wouldn't order them again. They also have shakes and dole whip available. There are lots of picnic tables with umbrellas. The patio allows dogs but I wouldn't label it dog friendly as it can get too hot. Personally I suggest they get more shade structures, tarps, awnings, huge planters with canopy trees/shrubs just to cool down the patio. It is a large exposed concrete slab next to a large dusty gravel lot and it gets sweltering out there. Even with the umbrellas on half of each table it gets dangerously hot for the elderly, infants and pets. I would skip if there is a big line, but would recommend if there is no line just to get gooey garlic cheese curds.

I had a few special requests due to me sharing my burger with my dog and they did not disappoint. The shake was really good. Blended well. I had raspberry and Oreo cookie. It would've been nice to taste a little more raspberry in the shake. They pride themselves on using fresh raspberries and that is the reason. Fresh fruit mixed with dairy tampons the tartness and dulls a lot of the sweetness.. I believe macerating some raspberries and sugar and finishing with some fresh lemon zest or even a little lemon juice and adding that to the fresh raspberries would knock it out of the park. I put it on the floorboard so my dog wouldn't get at it and accidentally knocked it over. It was so thick that only the huge amount that sticks out of the cup touched the floor mat. Awesome!!!!!!! I got the biggest burger they had. A half pound with two kinds of cheese and pastrami burger. It wasn't called a pastrami burger so I'm not gonna complain that it's just one thick slice. It was more like how you would add bacon to a burger. All the veggies were super fresh. Their choice of bun is the best bun I've had since my road trip began a week ago. Here's my opinion on the burger. The burger had no beef flavor. The only flavor came from the wonderful charcoal grill marks on the burger. Don't be afraid of salt. It's a chef's favorite condiment. The biggest complaint and my only true complaint is that the burgers have a horrible texture to them. Like two quarter pounds of beef breakfast sausage. Not good. If somehow it is how ground I'd recommend using a smaller die and leaving out the transglutaminase. Dog loved it. Would I come again? I sure would. Mos Def

This was my second visit, and unfortunately it was almost identical to the first. The welcome was not very friendly, and our waitress walked by the table several times before finally speaking to us. After that, she never really came back to check on us, ask whether we needed anything, or see how the food was. The next thing we knew, she was dropping off the bill. We ordered two appetizers, but only one was brought out. I also clearly mentioned that I have a food allergy, and she said she would let the kitchen know. Even so, the appetizer arrived with the ingredient I'm allergic to, and nothing was said about it. On top of that, the salad came with the wrong dressing. That said, the seared ahi tasted fresh, and the greens with salmon really hit the spot. The food itself was enjoyable, which makes the service issues even more disappointing. It is hard to overlook a missed appetizer, the wrong dressing, and especially the mishandling of a food allergy. This place has a lot of potential, but the service definitely needs work.
