I'm a huge fan of Moose Buns, the logo cracks me up and the food is delicious. It's a cute little spot in Garden City not too far from Bear Lake. The service is always friendly and the burritos, cinnamon buns, and coffee are always delicious.

We only tried the cinnamon buns, and they are amazing. Definitely worth the stop. Staff is very friendly and efficient. They manage the drive thru and the walks up with minimal wait, even though it gets busy.

I've had been stalking Moose Buns for a few weeks before my Bear Lake trip and was dying to eat there. We stopped by late morning after 10:00 and there was only one person in line, so the wait time was almost nonexistent. When it was our turn to order, the employee at the window (it's a walk up window) was extremely nice and helpful. We had never been there before, so he kindly answered all of our questions. He was such a nice guy and seemed to genuinely care! I ordered a breakfast burrito with philly meat and it was soooo good! I smothered it with the two little hot sauce packets they gave me. I let my kids have a bite and then they decided they wanted one too. The employee gladly grabbed us another one real quick (he was so awesome, wish I'd caught his name). The boys (my boyfriend and his two boys) got the cinnamon rolls and thought they were delicious. I was too busy inhaling my burrito to try a bite and I regret that. I had a really yummy English toffee with toasted marshmallow iced latte though. There was plenty of outside seating and they also have a cute little gift shop we checked out. We'll definitely stop by next time we're in Bear Lake!

Stopped in to grab a coffee and breakfast burrito to fuel us for a ski day at Beaver Mountain. Drive thru was convenient and FAST. Service was polite and stellar. The burritos were PERFECT. They are not greasy and perfectly filled with a nice ratio of cheese, eggs, potatoes, and meat (we ordered one steak and one turkey sausauge- both amazing). We got mild hot sauce to put on them, which I think it needed to really take it to its full potential, otherwise it was slightly bland. The COFFEE was the real shining star, though. Made to order, not bitter, not too sweet, either, and with a nice kick of espresso to start the day. Highly recommend the Brown Sugar Cinnamon Red Eye. Wish it was open on Saturdays, because we'd go back in a heartbeat.

Was so excited to try out Moose Buns on our trip to Bear Lake. I was a bit nervous they wouldn't be open since my family and I visited in their off season and right after a snow storm. But we were pleasantly surprised when they were in fact open and we were able to order. We got few of the cinnamon roll flavors (original, cookie & candy) They were all delicious! Perfect for a cold day. We did ask for extra icing because I love icing and also they are a great size and wanted to make sure to have some for every bite. They were delicious! Warm fluffy and fresh. We also ordered a latte and breakfast burrito and both were equally as good! highly recommend stopping!

OMG! I love cinnamon rolls and now I'm hooked on Moose Buns. Plain, Carmel Nut, Raspberry - yes we tried them all in 2 days and 2 visits. Add in a delicious Coconut Berry smoothie or another one of the flavorful drinks - and you'll be set. Moose Buns is a cute little place just up the street from the many overcrowded Garden City eateries. We didn't have to wait an hour and we had a relaxing time visiting with our group on-site while we enjoyed our delicious treats.

You honestly can't beat the service here! We stopped by on our way home and we felt right at home. My 11-month-old went nuts for the Chicken Croissant & Banana Strawberry smoothie. We grabbed some Frappuccinos and the hoagies. We were honestly in heaven. On top of the amazing food, It's the service that makes you want to come back in. They have a little gift shop, Closed and they opened it up just for us. The cake pops are amazing! You have to stop by

This cafe is off the beaten path but the food is really good! My husband and I were looking for a breakfast cafe and most places have a huge line in front with 45+ minutes wait - not a good idea for a Sunday morning. We got burritos at Moose Buns and house coffee - burritos were good and came out really fast. Coffee was strong and delicious! And to top that, we got a raspberry cinnamon roll - oh that was so fresh, warm and fluffy *chef kiss*. I usually don't like store-bought cinnamon rolls since they are too sweet, Moose Buns' cinnamon rolls are just perfectly sweet and the raspberry flavor makes them even better. We came back and got 2 more rolls to bring home! Along with a Arnold Palmer - ice tea lemonade. They have a long list of lemonade drinks, shakes, etc. Definitely try this place, and you can also drive through!

I take good pics so pics make the food look better than it was. Also, the food took forever to come out! They are slow here. Came with a party of 6. For our appetizers we ordered blue cheese waffle fries, just okay, and the Bavarian pretzel, which was great. For the mains; Pan seared trout, just okay, sides are small Pan seared chicken, this dish was actually delicious, great flavor and broth. Braised pork bolognese- not very good, meat was fatty Classic burger was probably the best item ordered, it's a really great burger, the two patties were big and great flavor, cooked perfectly. Get this if you come. Market fish was salmon, and it was good, but nothing to remember. The desserts were not good. Seemed cheaply made. Like cheesecake was store bought, and the cookie skillet tasted like premade cookie dough from store. Go get a shake somewhere else for dessert.

This was my second visit, and unfortunately it was almost identical to the first. The welcome was not very friendly, and our waitress walked by the table several times before finally speaking to us. After that, she never really came back to check on us, ask whether we needed anything, or see how the food was. The next thing we knew, she was dropping off the bill. We ordered two appetizers, but only one was brought out. I also clearly mentioned that I have a food allergy, and she said she would let the kitchen know. Even so, the appetizer arrived with the ingredient I'm allergic to, and nothing was said about it. On top of that, the salad came with the wrong dressing. That said, the seared ahi tasted fresh, and the greens with salmon really hit the spot. The food itself was enjoyable, which makes the service issues even more disappointing. It is hard to overlook a missed appetizer, the wrong dressing, and especially the mishandling of a food allergy. This place has a lot of potential, but the service definitely needs work.

The salmon Benedict was super light on the salmon (like 2 thin strips per each piece, actually pretty disappointing for the price.) Chicken in the waffle and the biscuit dish were fried chicken breast (not sponge meat) and hot and juicy. Stuffed French toast was good as well. Overall, not a bad experience given the lake views in the background. Oh, if you park your car in the parking lot out front, BEWARE, a golf ball could hit and shatter your driver side window...like ours got hit. Happy Vacationing

We were seated at a table in far end of the room. Once seated it's hard to get in and out from the wall seat because the table are pretty close together. I ordered the Spinach, Mushroom and Swiss 4 Egg Omelet. They asked me if I wanted 2 or 4 eggs and I chose 4. As a substitute for the potatoes, I opted to choose the avocado which came as a slice 1/2 of avocado. For my toast option, I chose the single pancake, but could also have chosen a scone. The scone wasn't on the menu as a option, so I missed this when I ordered. My omelet was very flavorful, although a bit dense. I attributed that to the 4 eggs fitting into a 2 egg form factor, but I really don't know that for sure. The avocado was a good complement to the omelet and worked out very well. The pancake was delicious. There was syrup on the table and butter came on the plate. I gobbled it right down and thought that I maybe should have got another one. I have eaten here before when I was in the area, and will likely return again when up here. The busy nature of the restaurant is offset by the good quality food.

The building shares an entrance with the truck stop/fuel station/convenience store. This makes it a bit confusing as to where the restaurant is located, but we found it. We had seen on other yelp reviews that this wasn't the cleanest place, and that is certainly true. The day we visited, the dining room was filled with flies. They were so pesky, that it made it difficult to sit and wait for our food because they just wouldn't leave us alone. A fly strip or two may have helped quite a bit with this issue. We sat at a low table, but there was bar seating as well, which most of the locals chose to use. Our table was a wood surface coated with a clear varnish that was sticky to the touch and likely not very cleanable. The condiments were very dirty and gross. We chose not to use them with our food. There was only one waitress working and one cook, and there were 3 other people besides us dining in. The food still seemed extra slow coming out. It appeared that the cook only worked on one order at a time, so we watched as each patron was served until ours came out. I ordered the Malibu Chicken Sandwich with Sweet Potato Fries. My sandwich didn't really have much flavor, but it tasted fine. My fries were not too greasy as can be the case with sweet potatoes. I was hungry and devoured my meal. My husband ordered the chili burger with tots. He said the chili was mediocre and the tots needed salt. I thought the tots had an old grease flavor that I did not care for. I don't think we'll be back again unless something changes.
