There are a couple of different rooms to sit at but not a lot of standing room which was a bit awkward but we managed to get by. I'm not a big fan of pancakes, I prefer a crispy waffle. The stand out of our experience however was the friendly service from the woman taking our orders. She was so welcoming and talkative even though they were very busy. It was our first time here and she treated us like local friends. A minute later the woman who took our order walked out with a large, clean dog bowl filled with cool water. It really put a special touch to this darling place. Buzzbru did just that for me. There's a nice menu of both food and drink options-the oatmeal was amazing and made my sweet tooth dance with delight. I fell in love with the Grogg coffee and found it to be a perfect pairing with the sweet oatmeal. Sadly, I learned that Ibis Coffee, where they get the coffee, is discontinuing it soon. But a wonderful staff member pointed me to an alternative that I could buy and take home to try, which I did. I'm sure it will be wonderful! There's a nice seating area in the back with a small couch and a few books to enjoy while you're there. Be sure to abide by the "no PDA" rule which is handwritten on a piece of paper taped to the ceiling. I thought that was funny and wondered what kind of shenanigans this cafe has seen to have to enact such a rule. No matter. I'm just here for the coffee and conversation.
