Moose Buns was hands down one of my favorite food discoveries in Garden City! We stopped here early…read morein the morning before heading out to kayak Bear Lake, planning to simply grab a coffee and something quick for breakfast. I had no idea I was about to become completely jaded when it comes to cinnamon rolls! I ordered the caramel walnut cinnamon roll, and WOW. It was absolutely incredible. The roll was soft, warm, gooey, and covered with delicious caramel and walnuts. Every bite was ridiculously good. I honestly have no idea what they do differently here, but this cinnamon roll has officially become the standard that every other cinnamon roll will now have to compete against. The coffee was also a great addition and made this the perfect quick breakfast before starting our day at Bear Lake. I love finding local places like this when we travel, especially when something as simple as stopping for breakfast turns into one of the most memorable parts of the trip. Moose Buns has officially earned a spot on our Bear Lake must-visit list. From now on, whenever we're staying in Garden City, this will be my first stop in the morning. If you love cinnamon rolls, do yourself a favor and try the caramel walnut. Just be warned--you may never look at another cinnamon roll the same way again!

It was a random stop for me, and I wasn't sure what to expect, but what I got was a lovely chat, some wonderful service, and delicious ice cream. I got: honey and something or other, huckleberry, and the seasonal flavor of pumpkin. All of it was good. Huckleberry yogurt. This might've been even better than the ice cream. Parking was easy.

Quick n' Tasty sports the actual "Famous Raspberry Shakes" logo and I was reasonably impressed with their raspberry shake. It was nicely filled with tons of raspberries and the flavor actually comes through. I heard a rumor that they use canned raspberries..but who doesn't when raspberries are not in season? Perhaps that is a temporary solution when they can't get fresh raspberries for one reason or another. On the pricier side, $5.50 for a small (compared to La Beau's regular for $5.99). Either way, the shake tasted great!! I support any Quick n' Tasty fans for sure.

Some family members ordered a very large order of fried chicken from the deli and it was delicious! Very crispy and moist, it was a big hit with our group of 42 people. We were a little shocked when we arrived that there was a gas type substance in the air of the store that looked like smoke when we arrived. It smelled awful and burned our eyes and lungs. I heard that they released something from the floor of the store and it released some sort of gas into the air. I'm not sure why it was necessary to do that during business hours but we couldn't get out of their quick enough.

Four times I know of, today being $2.18 higher than the advertised price on the sign right by the product. Customer service is more of a disservice. Many cashiers are cold and unwelcoming, rarely smiling or greeting you other than a sentence fragment of "reward number?" Produce is often very close to spoiled. Many meat products are the same, not very fresh. I have thrown away meat before because it smelled pretty strong once I got it home and opened it up. Overall the prices are high and they justify that since this is a "remote" area according to one employee that overheard me talking about high prices. He seemed almost offended I dared to comment on high prices and spent a few minutes scolding and informing me on the matter. Tourists may think no big deal, but it sure stinks when this is our only option as a resident in Montpelier. After today's experience, I will no longer shop at any Broulim's no matter how convenient they may be and I will instead go to Soda Springs (22 miles) to an alternative store.
