Driving into the little lake-side town, one of the first places we spotted had a nice covered outdoor patio with ping pong and fooseball tables. Looked like our kind of place! It was a bit breezy so we ended up enjoying our meal inside in one of the cushy very spacious booths. The food was actually way better than I was expecting! The place looks like a local hole in the wall, but the food served up generous portions, good flavors, and fresh takes on classics. The burgers are big, the gyro is smothered in tzatziki, and everything comes over a pile of fries! Friendly servers took our order at the counter and then delivered a massive tray of lunches to our table. Overall this was a great find! This feels like a new place in garden city. There is inside and outside seating. The line was long but they had the best raspberry shake yet! The Navajo tacos don't have any beans and are served like an actual taco. It's not what I was expecting or what I think of when I think of Navajo taco but it was OK. read more

The tables were dirty, they weren't real busy and no one came out to clean them off. The food wasn't that great, maybe we ordered the wrong stuff. The Dr Pepper was out and no one fixed the problem. I believe there was only two people working at the time, but when you're not busy you need to check on your tables and floor. We won't be back. read more

I chose the bacon double cheeseburger, my wife chose the Greek salad and we shared fries. The burger was awesome! It was very large and my wife ended up sharing it with me. (There was plenty) It was certainly one of the better burgers I have ever had. The burgers are very thick, like backyard barbecue thick, with real cheddar cheese, and home style bacon. A yummy sauce, tomatoes, lettuce and a soft bun finish this burger nicely. The fries are hand cut, double fried to perfection and delicious. The Greek salad was traditional and made with fresh ingredients and was very good. The owner was friendly and excited about sharing his food.
