This place is amazing, stumbled upon it at Senza Maeso. My husband and I shared the Szechuan chicken with the level 1 spice. We got extra spice powder on the side which was perfect. These people were so kind and provided excellent service. My husband and I were sharing and they split it for us without us even asking which was so sweet!!!! We will definitely be coming back. My family and I came here last night to try something different than the same old restaurants. I ordered the Birria sandwich, Chicken Masala, and shrimp tacos. First, my Birria sandwich was delicious and packed with flavor and the consomé was perfect. I loved the chili oil it was very flavorful. It could have been spicier. I do like spicy heat! My husband's masala was amazing better than any other place in town that is offering anything Indian inspired. I can't comment on the shrimp tacos because i have an allergy to shrimp. However, they were beautiful and we didn't have any leftovers. I need to try the whole menu!! We will certainly be back! The service was super friendly and they brought our food out which was cool. I would like to add that they did have vegan options which I will definitely be having soon. I prefer vegan food but I can't resist Birria. Definitely go check this spot out!! The birria tacos were as good as the reviews promised--two tacos packed to the gills with tender, quality meat and a cup of chunky broth and chile oil (i think she referred to is as consommé, it's delicious and looked like stew) to dunk them in and a beautiful little lime to finish. It was more than I could eat in one go but I believe it would fill Mr R on a hungry day, and $13 is fair when you appreciate it was all cooked fresh from quality ingredients and tastes great on your plate. Similarly, the smoothies contain actual recognizable produce full of goodness and are made when you order. There are 3 sizes depending on your appetite and budget. Very filling! The staff were extremely friendly, polite, and kind. When my juice wasn't ready with my food she brought me a water, and she happily offered to explain how the tacos/broth are usually eaten. I look forward to trying more of their menu in the near future. After spending 5 minutes looking at menu items on an iPad, my buddy and I decided on the sweet meat. We also had a bottle of water. Total price with tip, $36. Now don't get the wrong the guys running the truck were super friendly but the portion was a little skimpy and face it, a little meat and rice for $13.50 isn't much of a value. I ordered the beef fried rice! Talk about delicious! They use grass fed beef and the cook that cooks here is from Thailand and her recipe is what they serve, it's so good! Not greasy! Packed with flavor, they served it with a peanut sauce and finely chopped peanuts on top! We mainly got it for my daughter so they put most the sauces on the side. I ended up eating it... ALL lol Hands down best fried rice you'll ever have! And I'm telling you, I NEVER order fried rice from anywhere bc I like my own but dang. That was awesome! I wasn't particularly enticed by the name or outside of the trailer so I looked at it last in the park. The owners were so friendly, though, that I ended up trying alligator because I've never had alligator. It was one of the most delicious foods I've had in ages! I have tried something different off of the menu every time I've been here since and haven't looked at another trailer in the park. I have also had a Thai-inspired dish with skewered shrimp that knocked it out of the park. Everything is fresh and delicious, nothing overcooked, very flavorful. The owners also made me a shot of some crazy stuff while I was waiting that probably quick-fixed something in my gut. And their juices are juicy juicy. On numerous occasions, the owners have run food out to me in the rain. They are kind and delightful folks who will cook for any dietary restrictions you can throw at them. I really think that if Quick Fix had a name that didn't sound like a convenience store, they'd top lists in Austin. Although I really don't like the name of this place for some reason, the food is the complete opposite. The whole theme/menu/ingredients of the food truck is so cool! There are options for anyone- seafood, meat, vegetarian, and vegan! They also give you a free "shot of life" with any order which was great. It has cayenne pepper, honey, apple cider vinegar, and some other stuff for a great concoction good for digestion and woke me up really quick. They also give 10% off if you bring your dog! I ordered the Vegan Somalicious with Chicken and I liked it, but I also didn't. However, that was due to personal preference. For the vegan part, it had fried jackfruit which I do not like at all, even though its a great option. The chicken was really good though! It was grilled nicely and I could tell it was made with the upmost quality. For me, I really needed more spice and flavors but this could be due to not choosing the right dish. I also tried the power up smoothie which was sweet and tasted just like a smoothie should. However, it does have a lot of seeds in it due to the ingredients in it. There was one drink I tasted that consisted of cucumber and mint which was really good! It was fresh and naturally sweet. I do want to go back and try the vegan burger (they were sold out!) and some more of the smoothies and drinks. The concept is amazing and I love their vibe! My first review on Yelp and I just felt compelled to spare my awesome experience! This has a variety of healthy but exciting options, from apps to entrees, homemade juices and healthfood shots, and more! Nothing artificial and very conscientious about health while still being satisfying. Options for carnivores to vegans! I happened across Quick Fix while seeking out a different food truck, but this happened to be the only one open. While I was considering the menu, the owner of the truck introduced himself and offered to help me choose something to suit my taste. This was really helpful, as he explained that all of their recipes are their own creation and not based on any specific type of food. I recommend asking for suggestions, you will not be disappointed. Yelp says this is a "juice bar/vegan" food truck, however the majority of their offerings include protein items cooked deliciously without excessive grease or frying. At the suggestion of the owner, I went with the Shrimp Stacks. They are FANTASTIC! Freshly sauteed jumbo shrimp with avocado atop thinly sliced sweet potato with a homemade slighty spicy sauce. 10/10 for flavor, texture, and creativeness; satisfying after a workout but not heavy or guilt inducing. I would absolutely order this again. I also got to try their homemade strawberry lemon/limeade. Delicious and refreshing, without any added sugars, and a fabulous twist of mint at the finish. Last of all, service. It wasn't until after I ordered that I realized that they had already been closed for AN HOUR and yet continued to provide excellent service with a smile.
