Look at this plate please, If you visit this place you need try the Pollo Loco plate. Taste good and the meat is so juicy.

Great prices. Clean facilities. Decent food. A great option in Canyon Lake. We fine here often.

Street taco without everything that makes it a street taco.

I went there all the time, but recently my orders have been wrong because the man answers. They refuse to give a refund and insist you drive all the way back there. I asked for fajita beef street tacos, got home and opened up my meal to a tortilla filled with meat... The time before that I asked for chips and queso and I got home and had a bag of chips and shredded cheddar cheese. I will not be going back here, as I simply asked for a few dollars off the entire meal since the whole thing was wrong and I didn't want to drive 20 more minutes there and back to correct their issues. They refused. Will never return, highly recommend new staff. I never post bad reviews but this place left a bad impression. I'll be making sure to tell all friends and family that visit to NOT go here. Literally paid $24 PLUS 15% tip FOR PICKUP and they won't refund a few dollars.

Family owned and the food is always great. Love eating in or getting carry out. This is our go to Mexican restaurant when on the north side

Good food and prices. Friendly service. It is a small place with limited seating but worth trying this place out.

Food was not good! When we pointed out the order was even wrong the waitress responded with "it depends on who is cooking".

Our first stop and I must say we was pleased. I got the combo fajitas and it was sizzling the whole time nice and fresh. And family owned.

Unassuming little taqueria food truck permanently parked here turns out AMAZING AUTHENTIC TACOS -…read moreand the locals seem to know it. We follow the locals - we saw nuns from a nearby shrine eating here and, so shall we! They open at 6am and do A LOT of breakfast taco business, and close at 1pm to catch the lunch crowd. Picnic tables are scattered around for seating, and cold drinks in the fridge by the order window. I had the Street Taco Plate, which comes with 5 street tacos with 2 choices of meat. I chose barbacoa and carne al pastor, two of my barometers for a good taqueria. Both meats were delicious - the barbacoa was meltingly tender and moist - very slightly flavored with cinnamon and maybe allspice? Anyway - definitely get the barbacoa. Same advice for the carne al pastor - delicious marinated pork crisped on the flattop and generously spooned into doubled corn street taco tortillas - Add onion and cilantro, a spritz of lime and a little of either the red or green house salsa and ascend to taco heaven. My husband got the crispy taco plate - 2 crispy corn-shell tacos, one with carnitas and the other with carne al pastor. Carnitas were tender and so so porky and delicious - another excellent meat choice if you come. Both plates are served with homestyle Mexican rice and refried beans. Their meat choices are: pollo (stewed chicken), carne asada (beef steak), chicharron, carne al pastor, carnitas (roast pork) and Barbacoa. Picadillo (ground beef stew) and Carne Guisada (beef chile stew). 5 comida autentica como en su casa stars!!

Totally lives up to the hype! Delicious tacos and friendly staff. Can't wait to go back.read more
