David in the office told me what to expect when I booked and answered all my questions: it all went exactly as he said it would. I paid a simple hourly fee for the labor, and a flat fee for the junk removal of the old units. No hidden costs. Richard was the team lead, and his experience was clear; they arrived on time and they handled the job with speed and assuredness. They quickly took out the old units with a lot of care to my property, then they fully installed the new ones for me. They made all the connections and tested it, so I didn't have to worry. I can't say enough about how well they treated me - they were all true pros every step of the way. AHM handled each detail, and I ALWAYS knew what to expect and what it would cost in time and money. Atlanta Home Movers was so fast to provide a quote and also follow up. Other companies estimated 7-9 hours for my move but these guys hustled the entire time and finished in a fraction of that time. Despite my house having many stairs leading up to it and also inside, they never once complained and had such a positive, fun attitude for the entire day. My husband was traveling so it was just myself and my 10 month old baby - so a day that I was dreading actually turned out to be the smoothest, most stress-free experience ever! From the moment they arrived, they got right to work and did not waste a single minute. I was honestly impressed by how quickly they packed/moved everything while still being careful with my furniture & boxes. Avoid them at all costs! 7/14: Yes, accidents happen, we understand that and asked your company to make good on them. A $120 gesture of "goodwill" isn't reimbursement in full, it's a slap in the face that we refused. If there's truly a reimbursement in full for the brand new dresser and trench I will update this review again. If not, I'll update this with the communications from your staff.

However, they FAR exceeded my expectations! Not only do they do a great job in the move itself, they also go the extremes in making sure they handle your items as careful as possible. they are also fast (but cautious) and are extremely personable! The cost is very reasonable on top of all of that. If that was not enough, when all had been unloaded and they were done, I told the owner that I was now on my to get some things out of a second storage unit now that they had put my main items in a larger one and he insisted on helping me with this and no additional charge! who does this!? Back Savers showed up with so many movers I almost lost count. 6 or 7 of the most clean cut, uniform wearing gentleman. They got to work right away helping me finish wrapping up odds and ends. I opted to provide the boxes and supplies needed for the move but I noticed that they did have extra supplies to wrap the couches etc. We are having to get the crew to come back out again tomorrow because I needed more storage. If I did have the extra storage space today they could have easily finished up today. These people are serious about getting the job done. Lol, it's really laughable at this point. I asked for and received a quote on Friday. I needed a simple in-house move that Jason (the owner), confirmed would be $125. We agreed on Saturday morning to a Sunday appt time window of 8:30-9:00 in the morning. Saturday night came and I tried to call Jason just to ensure he would show up. No answer. So I sent a text. No response. Hmmmm Sunday morning, I wake up and check my phone- Nothing, not one single response from him. So begins my journey..... I called, I texted, I emailed, I sent pigeons, I used Morse code, I used flare guns- NOTHING. Finally, at 8:52am, he wrote and said "let me check on where they (the movers) are at." My head fell in shame. My heart sank at that message. Did he call me? No. Did he text me? No. So I called him, I texted him 9:30 came and left. He told me he was in church so he would have his assistant call me. Yeah..... it never happened. His assistant clearly doesn't exist and he was just throwing anything out. No one called. Now I'm panicking. See, here is the kicker- I was moving the furniture that I was selling and the soon to be buyer was already on their way to get the furniture. (From out of state) I called, I texted- NOTHING. So..... I begged. Ooooo weee, honey child, I begged this man to call me or tell me what was going on. He assured me "Even if I have to come myself, I will move you today." That was so sweet and I saw some hope, things might be looking up, right? Hell to the no!!!! IT. WAS. A. LIE So I called and emailed and texted and finally- he answered. (Cue the angels singing) he told me he was coming, his GPS said he was "45 minutes to an hour away." The time read 11:36am. Hope filled my heart, I breathed a sigh of relief, my palms stopped sweating. He was on his way- thank you Jesus!! But then 12:30 came, 1:00 came, 1:30 came. Nope, he never showed and I never heard from him again. Don't worry, another moving company saved the day. Faith Moving Company- their slogan should be: "Where you need to have faith if they will even show up." On another note: Jason- Do not respond to this review with some bullshit "We are sorry this happened blah blah blah, we had issues and an emergency blah blah blah. NONE of that changes the fact that you left a customer hanging and didn't have the DECENCY to call, email or something to apologize. So don't reach out now to save face on this review.

Had a few issues coordinating things because U-Haul's booking system was down. I made an error on…read morebooking with picking up my boxes with U-Haul moving help and ordering a U-Haul truck to deliver my boxes. Which was not their fault, U-Haul did not explain things to me clearly when I was booking, which made things complicated. U-Haul was not going to release my boxes; it was already on the road, and I explained that U-Haul was going to drop off my boxes. They agreed to wait, but they ended up not showing up, for it was getting late, and they tried to set up a time to meet, for my U-Haul boxes came later in the day, around 4:30 pm. They were nice enough to reschedule for the next day. So on Sunday, they appeared later than expected- agreed timeframe, and we had to reschedule once again due to the weather, as it was pouring badly. I did find it odd that they did not bring any equipment to move stuff, and asked for my apartment's dolly. Based on the new rescheduling planned to meet the next day on Monday. We agreed early in the morning, like 6:00 am, for I was travelling that same day. Ended up not coming on the time we agreed on once again. I had to call to see what was going on for 30 minutes to an hour past. When I called, I realized they were still sleeping- had a morning I just woke up, voice when they picked up essentially. I kept stressing the fact that I was leaving early that day and just gave the excuse of being hardworking, and they would get the job done in time before I needed to leave for the airport. I was already stressed, worried I would miss my flight, and checking out of my apartment on time, and they ended up coming to my place 3 hours later than what we agreed. During the unloading, a couple of my boxes ended up dropping while going up the ramp to my U-Haul box. I had insurance, and I did not have enough time or energy to react due to the time crunch. I just thought that if anything is broken, I have insurance from U-Haul to cover any damages. I did ask them to help bring locks and wrapping supplies for my stuff. For I wasn't sure what locks would work, and I did not want to have any issues with my U-Haul boxes. And on both occasions, on Sunday and Monday, they did not bring anything. Thankfully, I was able to buy them myself and not rely on folks, or I would have been in a tight situation of They are nice, but the whole scheduling to do the job and such could have been more professional and less stressful.
