I have recently bought a home and contacted Property Detox on word of mouth of the company through a friend. When I reached out to call the number Mr. Jonathan was very prompt to my call and was able to assist myself and my husband and spoke in detail on what he could do to move our home. He answered all our questions with no problem at all. We moved our 3 bedroom home with no issues or problems and I had no furniture damaged at all including my antique table and chairs. He had materials that was able to protect our items which was impressive. The team was very friendly and showed up on time to our property and offered any other assistance that was needed. Mr. Jonathan also made sure to follow up with us before showing up to our property which was great and also offered to dispose of any items we no longer needed. The prices were great and our furniture was not just thrown in a truck and drove off recklessly. Super happy with our services and would definitely use them in the future for any moves or clutter removal. read more

No question about it, Jonathan and his guys are above and beyond, highest standard of professionalism, efficiency and care in the moving industry. Jonathan has moved stuff for me three times, this last one being over 700 miles to the Gulf Coast. He and Mike delivered two storage units of furniture and a million boxes of my most precious belongings with nothing lost or broken, no waiting endlessly for the truck to arrive, and offloaded in an hour and a half. Absolutely superb service, I was in awe, and Relieved! it was a hard move for me, but he made it so easy. he is honest, his pricing is reasonable, his guys are right there with him in integrity and hard work. Pay attention all you other moving companies out there - this is the Gold Standard. read more

I am about to move from Georgia back to Virginia and I needed someone to come to my two bedroom apartment to haul away my furniture. It would cost way more to transport my ten year old stuff than it was worth, so I did some research and contacted several companies. Jonathan from Property Detox responded quickly and was one of the only ones who was able to give me a quote without needing to come and give me a "no pressure" in person estimate ahead of time. I appreciated his responsiveness to my emails and questions and decided to scheduled an appointment with him, as his rates was extremely reasonable and competitive. The morning of he called me to confirm our appointment and let me know when he'd be arriving. He showed up and he and his partner walked through the apartment and I showed them what needed to be taken (versus what was staying with me). They quickly got to work and didn't waste any time. Every few minutes I'd see them walk by, hauling something else out the door. And even though I was getting rid of all this stuff they took the time and effort to make sure everything was done not only quickly, but safely and so they didn't damage any of my things or the apartment in the process. They finished my two bedroom apartment in an hour. I alloted plenty of time in my schedule (into the afternoon) for them to finish this based on my experiences with other companies, so I was pleasantly surprised and incredibly grateful that I was able to carry on with my day with so much extra time to finish other things. I highly recommend Jonathan and Property Detox for any of their services. I couldn't imagine this experience being any easier than they helped to make it. read more

Property Detox made our move much easier! They arrived on time (and with excellent communication) and were so friendly. They wrapped furniture carefully - and the few pieces I didn't care about they left alone. We trusted them with our big TV and a few antiques and they did great. They also helped to reassemble furniture after moving us into our home. Our apartment was very tricky to get into and they navigated it with ease. I would definitely recommend using them for your move! read more

We give Jonathan and his group 5 stars because they deserved everyone of them and more. We found them all to be respectful of our belongings as well as to us. They came prepared to do the physically hard task of moving our treasures of fifty years accumulation an hour and a half away to our new home. Without one word of disapproval when we changed our minds on where we wanted things placed. They unloaded and set up everything as asked. The guys Introduced me to the pleasure of Snapple Apple and Mango Madness for that I'm very pleased. I have the refrigerator stocked nice and cold. If you're looking for reliable help from pre move help through move and set up we HIGHLY recommend PROPERTY DETOX! Thanks Jonathan it was good getting to know you and your crew!!! Very impressed with this company. I will rarely provide a 5 star rating to anyone.. but they deserve it, from start to finish. When I initially contacted the company, Jonathan mentioned that their schedule was tight but I asked if he would try to accommodate me and he said he would check the schedule and call me back. He checked his schedule and got back to me and told me they could get to me, And sent the contract over for review and signature. On moving day, he kept me updated on their arrival time. On arrival, Introduced himself as well as his crew and walked through the rooms so that I could identify the items that he would need to move. Although I was moving is a very short distance/less than a mile away,---they wrapped all of the furniture items and then moved them in a professional manner which precluded any damage to my property. I had a few items that I had not discussed with him on the phone, but they were able to accommodate me and included the items. Very professional from start to finish, and I cannot hesitate to recommend this company to anyone read more

I called about a week ago to get a quote after seeing them listed among the "Best of the Best" on Yelp. Jonathan listened to all my details and quoted me $90/hr for a 3 man crew w. a 26ft truck. He said this would be most efficient and easiest way to ensure a speedy move. We agreed upon Tuesday morning and he let me know that they would be there promptly at 10am. The night before, my husband and I took some time to pre pack and arrange everything best we could into the garage. I was really concerned with them being able to get done in an efficient manner because I had read plenty of horror stories from OTHER agencies about crews that milk billable time. Let me just say, this is not the case with Property Detox. They arrived promptly at 10am and got to work loading the truck. In under an hour, 75% of the items had already been loaded onto the truck. (Keep in mind, I did pre pack and place things in an accessible location). Within the first hour/half, they were already on their way to my new home. The unloading was just as efficient as the load up was. They carried items where they needed to go .. maneuvering larger pieces through narrow doorways with nary a scratch. Every items was efficiently and carefully placed in the specified room. No complaints were heard even when they brought a very heavy dresser into the top floor....only to be redirected downstairs into the basement. This was probably the most headache-free move I've ever had ...and I've been through at least 20 in my lifetime. I would enthusiastically recommend them to anyone needing a move in the area. You can't pick a better company. read more

Property Detox helped me with my recent move, and they did a great job. This was my first time using movers, so I don't have a lot to compare to, but I thought their rates were fair and the work was good. I contacted about 6 moving companies and Property Detox had the lowest hourly rate and fees. They took care of all my stuff and carefully wrapped even my crappy Ikea furniture ;) They were communicative during the move and made sure they had moved everything to my satisfaction. They have a three hour minimum and they worked quickly during the three hours to make sure they didn't go over time. They accept payment in cash, check, or credit card. Super convenient because I definitely didn't think ahead enough to carry cash! I'm giving four stars, not five, for two reasons: - They came 45 minutes late (wasn't a big deal because they had called to say they were en route) - When I booked the services, I had to ask for a confirmation email. Other than that, I'd recommend! read more

I have never done a review but this one was necessary Jonathan and his team were super amazing! They came in and moved all my furniture in a reasonable time frame he explained everything to me in detail and his pricing was very reasonable! The most important thing of all was he was very careful with and gentle with all of my furniture! I highly recommend his services if you are looking to move anywhere! Thank you Jonathan read more

Late post! This review is for services received in September 2018: Amazing!!! I can't say enough about Jonathan and his team, having them around was like hanging with family. They're punctual, friendly, careful and they hustle! I wish I had taken a picture of the back of their moving truck, my entire household delicately wrapped and configured like a graceful Tetris game. You will not be disappointed. We're planning on moving above Atlanta next year and I'm secretly praying Jonathan will be willing to help us move! read more

After reading the good reviews here on Yelp, I decided to go with my gut and choose this company. The two most important things to me personally were the care taken to not scratch or damage my stuff in the move and also for it to be done in a timely manner seeing as how with most movers you pay by the hour. Jonathan (the owner) is who answered the phone when I called to schedule and he was there the day of the move to make sure everything went perfectly. Everything was wrapped well before being put on the truck and nothing got damaged in any way. Jonathan was great and I can tell he takes a lot of pride in doing things the right way. The final price was less than what I was expecting and after moving that is a welcomed surprise. I 100% recommend Property detox for making sure you get from point A to point B stress free. ~Meg Estes RN read more

These guys are great!!! We were moving from a first floor apartment in one city to a second floor in another city and just knew it would be a difficult process. Jonathan was very easy to communicate with and told me up front what would be done and what it would cost. The day of the move, he and Mike showed up within the window of time that was communicated, walked through our old place to see what would need to be moved and got to work straight away! Talk about efficient! They had everything wrapped, padded and loaded in what seemed like no time. Very quick, very professional, very careful and very considerate. And when we arrived at the new place, regardless of the fact that we had to go up one level, they again moved very quickly and efficiently and had us unloaded in no time. These guys are no joke! They showed up to do the job and didn't stop til the job was done. Again...professional, considerate of our needs, courteous, polite and efficient. I hope we never have to move again, but if we do, Property Detox will be the FIRST place I call!!! read more

Jonathan and his team moved our family and they did an amazing job! I could not believe how efficiently they worked. I was so worried about not having enough money, so I just asked them to move the big items. However, they were so fast, they ended up moving almost all 3200 sq ft of our house. (except a few things I hadn't packed yet). They took time to make sure our items were safely stored on the truck while still working at a speedy pace. The whole team was very friendly and personable. I don't like to recommend anybody, unless I am 100 percent sure about their service. Property Detox is an amazing company! A side note, as a former owner of a moving company; having to have beds or other items disassembled and put back together is always time consuming, so we had ours all disassembled. This will save you quite a bit of money, if you know how to do it. read more

Called this place to schedule a move. We agreed on the specifics and I was told a contract and deposit request would follow after we hung up. Days later and after several follow-ups, I still haven't received the contract or confirmation and they have been ignoring me. Instead of being honest about no longer being able to do the gig, they chose to simply ignore me. Very poor business practices, esp in a stressful industry like moving. read more

This is our second time using property detox. They did an outstanding and phenomenal job wrapping and moving our furniture. We will use them again. read more

Loved the service. They are very reasonable and very friendly. I needed a few things moved from my storage to my apartment. The communication was great and they worked with my schedule. Best decision ever. i will be using you guys again the future. read more

This was my second time using this company and both times have been great moving experiences. They showed up early to their time window, and took extreme care with our belongings. They were some of the friendliest and most thoughtful movers I have hired. read more

I recently had a washer and dryer moved from hapeville to Brookhaven Jonathan and the guys not only came early they had it picked up and delivered in 40min . Let me mention both residences have stairs . I was beyond impressed with them . I found the business on Craigslist and of course was skeptical but you couldn't beat the price. I receive a invoice ahead of time and was greeted upon arrival my friend was at the pickup location and said how nice and quick they were. I would definitely use them again read more

I was iffy about using them from the jump just because the only reviews I found about them were the one on there website and they were all positive. That might seem good, but usually it means something else. That was not the case here, there reviews are all good because they are a legit, hard working, trust worthy company. I even left them alone for an hour and a half and when I returned they had been working hard the whole time and it showed! I was impressed! I was coming across the country to pack a storage unit for my sister and everything that could have gone wrong, went wrong with my trip! EXCEPT PROPERTY DETOX! Even when my source of transportation fell through, they gave me ride back to where I was staying. They truly were worth it! I would definitely recommend them and also will be using them again in the near future! read more

I went with this service provider after going through almost ten different moving companies. I certainly don't regret my decision. Johnathans and his team where very professional, early for the appointment, Very Organized and professional. They showed great care and respect for our belongings. They move wasn't the easiest but they did it on time and on estimate. The service was so good that they all deserved a tip which they never asked for but definitely deserved and I would definitely use them again. read more

I have done pro-mover moves at least 20 times in my life, so I have seen the good, bad and ugly and know when I see great. Great = the Property Detox crew. Accurate estimates, friendly and experienced team, prompt (even early!) arrival and careful handling while delivering efficient service. My requests were fulfilled to the letter as far as placement of my items in the home. My task including emptying my PODS container into my new home; when it was empty, the gentlemen were thoughtful enough to grab a push-broom and sweep out the debris for me so that I didn't have to do so later. It is that kind of "extra" that is the hallmark of the true professional and of a business that simply cares about people - along with its reputation. I will absolutely use this company again when I need to do anything from move around furniture that's too heavy for me to budge, or more significant projects where a few extra hands can be useful. I am so happy that they are close enough to be a consistent "go-to" resource for my household needs, and I can't wait to see these pleasant individuals again soon! read more

These guys are amazing from the communication, accommodation of my schedule up to how fast and hard they work. I had a 24 ft truck full of things and these guys moved it in 2.5 - 3 hrs. I will Definitely use them again. read more

I moved from a 2/1 apartment to a town home this week and I looked for a moving company the day before my move. Everyone said no and good luck. This moving company said sure let me just get a time for you. They got there on time, they did not stop working for a single minute. They were so helpful and really went above and beyond. The prices were very reasonable for two movers and a truck. They wrapped all of my couches and electronics. Also, they didn't crack, break or ruin a single thing. They cared for my things like they would their own. If you are looking for a moving company, these guys are the real deal! read more

I was asked to supervise the work of this company on behalf of my client. They were awesome. Very professional, efficient and they arrived early for the appointment. I look forward to being able to work with them again. read more

Just brought my first home and was calling around to find someone to help me move but at a great price. As you may guess that was no easy task so I remembered that I had use Property Detox before when I move from a apartment to apartment. They had remember me and came over on time. Still great service and went out of the way to wrap your stuff if you request. I TOTALLY RECOMMENDED their three men and truck service. They also offer other services that you may need when moving. If I ever move again they will be the first one I call. Sometimes you don't need a big company to take care of you. read more

Absolutely the best movers we have ever hired. Jonathan and his two other men were professional, courteous, efficient, careful, and happy to help. They took great pride in their work and that was reflected in the fact that none of our furniture was damaged. Furthermore, they wasted no time getting us moved, completing our 3 bedroom move to our new two story townhome in less than six hours. Property Detox was not our first mover but they are definitely the best. Not only would my wife and I use them again, we will gladly tell anyone we know what great people they are to work with. A pleasure. We did the container move last time and that was a disaster. This was well worth every penny. read more

Outstanding service! On time, courteous, professional, affordable, and accommodating! Jonathan and team fit us in on a holiday weekend for a small move within our home as we prepared to begin preparing for our nursery arrivals. We could not have asked for a better experience. Excellent service and fast response! Jonathan cleared some trash from our backyard (even worked around an unwelcome visitor ). Great job!

This is a great company and they provide great service. They arrived on time, for the work done within a short window, all while moving my items with care up a flight of steps. I will definitely use them again in the future and highly recommend them to others! I can't thank them enough for responding quickly and scheduling my appointment in the same week. read more

I work for a very high end moving company and have to hire on the other end when hauling out of state. I chose Jonathan not only because of the flawless reviews but also because of his professionalism when I spoke with him on the phone. He arrived on time, was very courteous to me and my customers and worked very hard with no complaints. In fact, the crew was very pleasant to be around. They treated every item with the level of care one would hope for. The same level of care that much higher priced moving companies claim. When hiring out of state I do a lot of research to ensure my customers receive nothing less than the best and I am beyond happy with these fellas. There are companies that claim a certain level of expertise, care, experience and carefulness but it doesn't always pan out that way. Rest assured that Jonathan and his crew are at the top of their game and will exceed your expectations as they did mine. I am blessed to have worked with them and only hope to do so again in the future. read more

I also was skeptical because they charge by the hour. What I found was that Jonathan was very professional and very nice, and moved my entire house in roughly one hour. I highly recommend Property Detox and if I ever need a mover again, I will definitely call them. read more

Property Detox, was recommended by another moving company. The move overall was good. One issue of concern was that upon completion, I went to play my Video Game. I am an avid Madden Gamer. I turned on my XBOX360, and notice to my surprise the game was not in the console. I carefully checked the console and game package. I know the game was inside, due to the fact that I played the game earlier that morning. The game was not inside either. I then looked at another game package(Madden16,PS4) Again to my surprise this game was not inside it's package as well. I immediately contacted the owner(J. Johnson) . He informed me that he would speak with his employees about this concerned. He contacted me a day later, stating he was still looking into it. Fast Forward 8 days later, I have not heard from this company. If you do choose this company for your move, please SECURE your VALIABLES! read more
