This is to report a serious health and sanitation concern…read more On Friday, January 16, 2026, at approximately 12:26 PM, I was inside the establishment when I observed a roach crawling on the wall. An employee, who appeared to be the manager on duty (as she was older and seemed to be overseeing the shift), attempted to kill the roach. When she grabbed it with a napkin, the roach fell onto the table. The employee then killed the roach and disinfected the table. However, this same employee had taken my order and continued handling service immediately after the incident. The food was served, but none of it was consumed due to the health concern. There was one other younger employee present, but they were not involved in the incident. Camera footage should confirm this event, as it would show the employee killing something on the wall during this time. Due to the seriousness of the situation, I also contacted the Health Department to report this incident.

(I'm PR and we add salt as soon as the fried plantains come out the fryer so that it sticks or serve it with mojo). Tostones do not taste good bland. I may go again and try some different items, skip the tostones and make sure that I get my black beans. I'll update this review depending on my experience when I return.
