They should change the name from Quick to slow. It is not the best place to get treatment!

Self Pay I first…read morechose Doctors Urgent Care because of its consistent five-star reviews. Each visit has been efficient, with wait times usually around 20 to 30 minutes or less. In today's horrific healthcare environment, prompt service and being treated with respect is scarce, which makes experiences and businesses like this stand out. I have now seen several of the rotating Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners, and every one of them has been warm, friendly, professional, and easy to talk to. I don't know how many they have on staff but they seem to have enough to serve everybody who comes in and very promptly as well. Overall bedside manner is warm, friendly, and genuinely interested in helping you. I never feel rushed through an appointment. My most recent visit involved what I believed was an ear infection, but it turned out to be more of an ear pH imbalance and irritation issue rather than anything severe. It is the kind of condition that can often be treated with simple over-the-counter remedies, yet it still helps to have a qualified medical provider evaluate it properly and point you in the right direction. Obviously, urgent care does not replace having a primary care physician. However, if you have no health insurance, very often you do not have a primary care physician either. That is the reality for millions of people who are unemployed, between jobs, self-employed, or simply not earning enough to absorb the monthly cost of a health plan. In the age of AI and economic disruption, more people are slipping through the cracks of healthcare than many care to admit. I do not currently make enough money to comfortably carry a monthly insurance plan, and I am not old enough for the next chapter of life, which is the Medicare age. Until then, clinics like Doctors Urgent Care provide an important bridge with reasonable self-pay pricing and accessible care. In a healthcare system wrought with obsessively high insurance costs and pharmaceutical companies earning billions each year while many Americans struggle to afford the basic necessities of life... this business is genuinely helping to fill an important gap for many people, which is why those five-star reviews continue.

Formal Complaint Regarding Negligent and Unprofessional Conduct at Quick Care Med, Crystal River,…read moreFL Dear Director of Operations, Charley Balbuena, and Regional Manager, Latanya Cox, I am writing to formally lodge a complaint about the egregious service my family received at the Quick Care Med clinic in Crystal River, Florida. The staff's negligence, unprofessionalism, and complete disregard for our needs have caused significant distress and financial burden, negatively impacting my daughter's school enrollment and my family's emotional well-being. This clinic's conduct is unacceptable and reflects poorly on Quick Care Med's reputation. I demand a thorough investigation and documentation of this matter in your records, as I intend to pursue resolution. On our first visit, we sought a physical for our daughter to enroll in a new school in a new county. Despite the clinic's location directly across the street from the school, where they conduct physicals for children annually and should be fully aware of the required forms, the staff failed to provide us with any paperwork for our personal records--a standard practice at every doctor's office I have visited in my life. They also neglected to inform us that two specific forms are required by the school, leaving us, as parents unfamiliar with medical processes, unaware of what questions to ask. As small business owners, my wife and I do not speak the language of medical requirements, and we relied on the clinic's expertise, which they utterly failed to provide. Instead, they gave us the wrong form, creating unnecessary complications for our daughter's enrollment. When we returned the next day to address this error, we were met with complete disregard. The staff refused to correct their mistake, insisting we pay an additional $65 for a new physical rather than providing the correct form. To make matters worse, the front desk staff member was on their phone for over a minute and a half before even acknowledging our presence, despite us standing directly in front of her. This blatant lack of professionalism and care is inexcusable in a healthcare setting. The emotional toll of this experience has been profound. My daughter, who is excited to start a new life in a new town, is being delayed in her school enrollment due to the clinic's negligence. My wife feels she has failed our daughter, compounding our frustration and distress. From one business owner to a corporation, I find the staff's disrespect, lack of accountability, and failure to offer any solutions appalling. The clinic's refusal to rectify their error and their indifference to our situation have not only hindered our daughter's transition but also eroded our trust in Quick Care Med. I urge Quick Care Med to investigate this matter immediately and take corrective action to address the staff's conduct and prevent other families from enduring similar treatment. I request a written response within 10 business days detailing the steps your organization will take to rectify this situation and improve service at the Crystal River clinic. I am available for a follow-up discussion to provide further details if needed and can be reached at [insert your contact information]. Please ensure this complaint is documented in your records, as I am committed to pursuing this matter until it is resolved satisfactorily. I hope Quick Care Med takes swift action to restore confidence in its services and uphold the standard of care patients deserve. hopefully this gets to whom it may concern in regards to the above subject. my hope is that my family and hopefully any other families do not have to endure the BS we have had to.

Was pretty much called a liar about the urgency of this, interrupted, told how to talk as I was being too emotional that's the real kicker, put on hold 20 minutes. The list goes on. Still do not have my order nor pre authorization. Hit me up after you've listened to the tapes and I'll change this. She's awful and not a good look vibe for the general public. Still needing the CT after all that run around nonsense so she's unable or unwilling to do her job. I've never been talked to so poorly in my life.

I was referred her by my pediatrician after my daughter developed symptoms of pink eye. We arrived about 7pm, waited for about 15 mins, and then were escorted to an exam room. The lady who took us back was so rough with our daughter trying to get her vitals. She couldn't get a good reading for her oxygen or blood pressure and even struggled with getting her temperature. She eventually gave up and said the Doctor didn't really need it. After about 10 mins, the Doctor came in. He was so rough with my daughter. He was grabbing her face so hard. He looked at her so quickly I don't think he could even make a proper diagnosis. He just went based off of what we said as her parents. Definitely wouldn't recommend for patients with babies. The pictures are 2 days after her appt. Bruise is still dark and is the shape of a fingertip.
