I just brought my daughter up there to this center. The receptionist was awesome and beautiful and patient with her. But the nurse that came to see her in the back had a nasty attitude. She needs to learn how to talk to people we speak people. read more

Worst experience I've ever had in a walk in. The rudeness is astounding here at the homosassa location. My daughter who is very sick and very sweet walked up to the receptionist and said hi 3 times and she would not acknowledge her. She didn't know what to do so she went to the next window where this thing, what looked like a woman would not look at her either, simply pointed to the window she was just at and said No, go back over there. Mind you this is a sick girl. They would not pick up the phone to verify my insurance, just simply said it's not popping up so you pay in full. We have never been met with such rudeness in a situation like this. We ended up taking her up the road to TGH urgent and they were great would highly recommend them. No problem with pulling my insurance there either. This place on the other hand needs new staff or just simply shutdown. I will continue to post these reviews until I get some resolution from these people. I want my daughter personally apologized to. read more

Doctor Darlene refused to give my kids medication they needed for a throat infection. Said she was going to put a 2 day hold on the medication when my kids clearly needed relief. My advice go elsewhere where they actually care about the patient. Minute Clinic is really convenient. read more

The two people up front were very nice. I went in with a lot of pain in my left back flank area. Said they could not verify my insurance for whatever reason. Paid 130 up front. After 2 hours finally saw a NP. She was about as friendly as a rabid dog. They ran a urine test and did not see anything in my urine. Was trying to show her were was pain was and all she did was over talk me and tell me urine was clear. Did not even take blood pressure temp or anything. She said, probably your back and turned around and left the room. This place is horrible. read more

Honestly, I can't believe the decent reviews this terrible walk in has. Over an hour late for my appt. The PA prescribed a med that made me sick, so I started calling at 9:15 to get a call back to change the med. called again at 11;30 and again at 2:30. Seems they only called me back because I said I would go in person if I didn't get a call by 3 Then the icing on the cake, they had my pharmacy on file (very close to my home) and instead sent it to a CVS 45 mins away. I've had to go between the two cvs's for over an hour to get the med transferred. As soon as they take your money, they couldn't care less about you. Wish I could give a zero And now that I'm back from pharmacy for the drug I originally asked for, I've had to throw away $60 of what I couldn't take and the pill I requested was only $6. I just had a very bad experience in the Inverness Office. I made an online appointment for 10:30 for this morning. I arrived early and did the little tablet thing. I Sat down to wait for my appointment time. At 10:30 a gentleman came in and said his appointment was at 10:45. No one was before me. At 11:10 they called the 10:45 in. I asked them wait, I was here before him. My appointment time was 10:30 and his was 10:45. The young woman said that they do not take appointments and see people as they come in. I told her that was not true. Your website is set up to make appointments. this woman argued with me until I just shut up. She took him in. About 11:15 another young woman called me up to the desk. She told me my co-pay was $75. I said no it was not. She argued with me and I was getting out my card to show her when she said oh, it's $10. The $75 was for the ER ( which is no true either). I asked her how long before It will be before I'm seen after I make my co-pay. She said as soon as she was done with my paperwork they would put me in the que. I asked why she did not do the paperwork when I came in as she did with the other 2 people after me. She said she was busy. So was I going to get seen or were the other two gentlemen behind me going to be seen first since they had their paperwork done and their co-pay made? This office is not well run. There were three women up front and only one was working. People came in and wanted to be seen and the ladies told them they did not have any openings until late that evening. So were these not appointments? I finally walked out. In my opinion The woman at the desk was nicer to the men than me. I was completely neglected. I understand they are understaffed. However, the staff there are not experienced or educated enough to handle their duties. "Walk-In Clinic And Urgent Care Sick Now? Seen Now!®" is not true! read more

We recently went to quick care for my husband who was feeling bad and the first visit was okay but the 2nd time we tried to go back even after I told the 2 receptionists that he was short of breath I was told that there were other people with appointments and that she couldn't put him before them. Now mind you I realize that this was 1:15 pm and they were thinking about lunch but there was not a single person in the waiting room. I ended up taking him to the ER where he was diagnosed with pneumonia. Please tell me when your website and clinics themselves say WALKIN but you have to have an appointment to be seen aren't you then just a doctors office? We also went to 2 different clinics. They are very loud when talking to patients about their medical issues. They have no common courtesy and clearly violate HIPPA when speaking about the patient behind the windows. They are not sound proof...everyone can hear you. read more

When asked if I had insurance they said the fee would be $150 after seeing the physicians assistant I asked them how much it would be without insurance they said $90. This is my first 1 star review. I was not able to get an appointment with a primary care doctor for several weeks. About 2-3 months ago I inhaled a toxic substance while cleaning out an old fertilizer/herbicide/pesticide shed at my dad's place. I became very sick vomiting's twice during the night, at the time I thought I had pickup a bug. But as time went on my general well being has declined. So, based on my symptoms, I read up on the internet and as a result I think I may have injured my kidneys, my general well being is in decline and I think my kidneys are hurting. Not knowing exactly where my kidneys are I can't be sure, but I have most all of the listed symptoms of damaged kidneys. I also threw my back out -again. When the doctor (Natasha Kline) came in the room, I let her know that my back pain is NOT my primary concern and that I am worried that my kidneys "could" be damaged or failing which is really troubling to me. I also have puss in my left ear-(an infection I think). While in the room, the "doctor" told me "you need go see a doctor about your kidneys" I told her that I could not see a primary care doctor for several weeks. I also asked her to look at my ear. She abruptly stated that "we are a one problem kind of place" She informed me that she will be writing me a script for my back pain-which she knew was my least concern. I then asked her to check my left ear-( up until that point neither she nor her assistant had touched/examined me in any way. Seaming frustrated she asked her assistant to look in my ears. When she did she told the doctor that my left ear is red and my right ear is normal. The doctor quickly said "it's just allergies" and reiterated that they only do one thing at a time. During the visit she never examined me other than to have her assistant look in my ears. I recently moved here from St. Augustine. My former doctor was the exact opposite of of Dr. Kline, He would have at a minimum put pressure on my kidneys to see if I might be in any kind of danger. Never in my life (I'm 57) have I EVER felt disrespected by a doctor. I left there feeling very disappointed, and I still don't know if I am in any kind of jeopardy concerning my potential kidney problem nor a remedy for my ear infection which could have been a simple prescription of anti-biotics. I'll have to wait weeks to get the answers from a "caring" doctor. read more

I've been a few times and seen a different person each time and had a couple good experiences, but when I went last night for granddaughter and myself we saw someone named Alisha and it was a joke. She barely looked at either of us, I mean she said she was looking in my throat and I don't think the light had time to shine in my mouth before she moved on and literally barely touched my skin when she "felt my neck." The only thing she really did do was listen to my l heart and chest. She did a quick check of the baby also. She gave me an antibiotic but said to give the granddaughter some over the counter homeopathic cough syrup and zertec. Although she was friendly I felt we were being brushed off. And she was real hyper acting like someone on aderal (not saying she was, just that's how she acted). I took the grand to her regular pediatrician this morning because I just wasn't comfortable about what she said, and she has an ear infection. I hesitate to post this because like I said we've had good luck there before and will probably go there again when it's not convenient to go to primary but just feel last night was a waist of time. read more

I went on a Monday, customer service and the P.A., doctor were great.... what SUCKED was the follow-up! I was given a covid and flu test and sent to Citrus Memorial ER for chest x-rays because supposedly they were really concerned and wanted them "Stat" well I've called them everyday regarding the findings on those x-rays and today is late Thursday and still don't know! I came in at 5:40 tonight (Saturday) and was told i could not be seen. They dont close until 6 and there is one car in the parking lot. Anytime we have been here they have never spent more than 15 mins. with us. Need to put on their sign what time thst will take their last patient. They did this to my Husband as well. About a 2 weeks ago I had gotten what I thought was the flu and made the mistake of going to the ER. Talk about a big mistake I was there over 3-hour vomiting, shaking, sweating. Not one employee offered me a water or any help. So, I left and went to the Quick Care Med of Inverness. When I arrived their where 4 people in front of me. The girl working the front desk could tell I was already upset, so she offered to help get me checked in. She explained to me the process and that it would be about a 1hr and 30 min. About 20 min into my wait the lady at the front desk let me know she was having problems verifying my insurance in her system so it might take a little long. I explained to her that I have great insurance and have never run into this problem before. She calmly explained to me that it was not my insurance but the verification website that they must use that is the problem, and offered me a cup of water or anything else that could make my wait more comfortable. About 30 min later the Manager of the facility came out to apologizes to the lobby for the wait time and offered us a drink or any snacks as we wait. I mean talk about customer service GREAT!!!! I was taken back after waiting 1hr and 45min. The nurse took her time, smiled, and made eye contact as she asked me my symptoms and noted them to my chart. When the doctor came back she took her time to understand my symptoms and treated like a sick family member. It turned out I had not the Flu but Walking Pneumonia. The doctor took time to explain to me what that meant and made sure I understood her treatment plan before she left the room. As I was leaving I joked with the Manager that they should Change the name from Quick Care Med to Comfort Care Med because they treated me like family. Great Customer Service and Great Care! I guess my grandma was right when she told me "good things come to those you wait". read more

Several weeks ago, not being able to get an appt. with my primary care or pulmonologist, I tried Quick Care Med. Yes, I waited 2 hours but I expected that, the waiting room was completely full. Once I was called back, things progressed very quickly! The front desk, respiratory & X-ray techs, were all professional, caring & knowledgeable! The PA assigned to me, Alisha Dotson, was an angel! She took her time with me , explained everything, and was so caring. She actually called me the next day, which happened to be New Year's Day, to see how I was doing, unheard of!!! Several days later, I called to speak with her, and she called me back at the end of her very busy day! All in all, a very positive experience for me! read more

As in convenient as getting sick is, it is even more so when you are vacationing and your own/your child's physicians, yet that seems to happen about once a year when we are visiting home. Each time, we have gone to this Quick Care Med, and I been more than satisfied with the treatment provided to my son or me by everyone from the front office to the nurses to the doctor. As a matter of fact, I have been so happy with the service and medical treatment there, that I told the doctor that if I ever moved back to that area, I would want him to be my primary care doctor. He is thorough, observant, and clearly cares about the health and well-being of his patients. He is also conservative and not quick to prescribe unnecessary medication. He even followed up to find out how my son was doing when he was particularly sick one visit. I noticed that someone complained about having to wait to be seen. While I understand that may feel frustrating, I would just like to point out that it is not an office at which you have an appointment; and compared to sitting in the ER at any hospital, where you are treated like just another insurance claim, the wait is minimal. Further, I would like to think think that the doctor is taking as much time with every patient as is needed to make a correct diagnosis and treat their illness/injury appropriately, as opposed to rushing them through with a cursory look at symptoms and a prescription for antibiotics or some generic advice just to meet some magic number of patients per hour quota. It is important to me that we are listened to and get an accurate diagnosis with great follow-up care, and that, the staff -- both office and medical -- cannot be beat. Highly recommend. read more
