Nutella and bananas. And original with cinnamon sugar

Ordered two items, one was Nutella and bananas. And second original with cinnamon sugar. Tasty snack/dessert to break up the day

Our children really enjoyed their Beaver Tail pastry, with ice cream on top. It was a unique experience we haven't seen anywhere else. Given that they kept begging for more, it probably means they liked it!

Cinnamon, lemon and sugar with a cheeky peek of a Nutella and banana!

Located in the bustling old port of Montreal, this place is a must visit if you want to experience the true essence of Quebec. Hosting the very popular beavertails, this is one place not to miss. Initially crisp dough which proceeds to melt in your mouth, sweet and sugary, citrony and chocolatey, there's a flavour of beavertail for simply every palate. I went for the lemon, cinnamon and sugar, whilst my friend went for a Nutella and banana, and the only word that escaped our lips upon first bite was, 'mmm' . The flavours accompany this oval shaped almost flattened doughnut perfectly, and you definitely won't want to share. The seating outside in the terasse is perfect for a summer's day, with a lovely view of the old port. Yum!

We were walking at the bottom area of old montreal and stumbled at a small dessert shop that sold moozoos, which I am surprised wasn't posted on yelp yet. It's a dessert place that sells all sorts of icecream and beavertail. I've read about beavertails, but didn't exactly know what it was so ordered it for the first time: Beavertail - since it's my first and have nowhere else to compare it with, I'll give it a 4 star. Very sweet with different choices of flavors to choose from. A bit soggy and sticky, so it's a bit messy and no bathrooms around to wash our hands. Maple gelato - 3 stars - average, yet very sweet gelato. Service - 4 stars - an influx of students were ordering, but line was quick.

Oh God what a nice pastry we had. It turns out that this a famous Canadian dessert and I'm not sure if it's only from Quebec. This freshly made crispy pastry was served hot and they put cream cheese on top but that wasn't all... they also added maple sirup. Prices are great and they accept international credit cards. This place has a few tables inside and more outside.

Oreo and cream + original cinnamon beavertail

I was one of the first people inside and person who greeted me at the counter was super nice! It was my first time not only trying a beavertail but in Canada in general and like I said, the person working the counter was extremely helpful and super welcoming to me! He suggested I try the original, since I never had it before and I got the Oreo one as a side because it's the flavor I like naturally. The beaver tail overall is super sweet so unless like you're like and have a giant sweet tooth, I suggest getting only one. It's literally just fried dough, so you get what you pay for. Overall, I definitely suggest this to anyone who's in Montreal because it's really just a fun little treat to try out when you're in the area!

Lines can be a little long at times, but it's definitely worth the wait to try the hot beaver tail which can have many different toppings. We had the Beaver tail with cinnamon and it wasn't too sweet, which was perfect for our liking. Note that they accept cash, at least that's how it was when we went. It didn't however look like they had a credit card machine though. There are barely any tables available, so you'll have to eat it quick and go. If there were tables or seats available, the tables were at many times dirty. People should definitely clean up after themselves better. But as a business establishment they should definitely walk around during more frequently and wipe down their tables more frequently. This place is located in Old Montreal, so if you're in the area, swing by and try one. It's a light snack; not filling at all.

**CASH ONLY** Yes. It's 2018. Yes they should accept credit cards. Yes they are going to screw you with a $2.75 fee for withdrawal. Rant over. Now the review. So everyone kept telling us we needed to have a beaver tail. They all mentioned this place, so after dinner we headed down there. Service was pretty slow, even though there were three people there. It appears only one person was actually doing anything. When it was finally our turn to order, we found out they don't take credit cards. The person mentioned that they may start taking them in June or July, however we noticed reviews from up to two years back mentioning that they don't take credit cards. I would assume that you're going to have to pay cash. After hitting up the ATM to an exorbitant fee of $2.75, we ordered our two beaver tails. I thought mine was delicious, the chocolate with Reese's pieces. My wife was disappointed with hers, which was essentially a glorified funnel cake. It was worth it to have one, but neither of us would make effort to do it again.

Ahhh the famous beaver tail! What a treat....fried dough sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon. You can also get different versions of this treat (hazelnut spread, apples and cinnamon, etc) but I think the plain original is the best. A must try while visiting the Quebec Province.

I have to admit that this is the only beaver tail I've ever eaten, and so I don't have anything to compare it to. But I did thoroughly enjoy it! There were LOADS of flavour options (I went for cinnamon), and we found a lovely patch of grass to sit and eat on opposite the cafe. Looovely!

A Canadian specialty, these yummy pastries are definitely worth trying! They're made fresh and delicious, with many different combinations of toppings! Each one costs around $5, but they are big enough to share if you like. (and no, they are not really made from beaver tails...)

I would consider it a medium sized snack for two people. The flavor is fantastic. Really good mango flavor and the bits of mango add even more flavor and some fun texture. We loved it so much, we ordered another one for our parents to try. The whole time, one employee was constantly peeling super ripe mangos. Having excellent ingredients is why this drink tastes so good. If you tend to like things on the sweeter side, you could order this without adjustments. Otherwise, you can ask for less sweetness. I think it would still be great with a little less sweetness.

When you finish you get to chomp on some extra sweet pieces which is a nice finish. My cousin has a sensitive stomach and we were worried about her having the Taro milk tea. Surprisingly, she loved it and it didn't bother her stomach at all. We went two days in a row just trying different drinks. There is always a line so be prepared to wait a bit. However it's one of those places that are worth the wait. I highly recommend this place. Also I love the kiosk to order because it makes things more seamless so the workers can focus on pushing drinks out faster.

I don't know...but it seemed looking for fresh pressed Juice bar options, is almost nilch in some Montréal neighborhoods. And it isn't a question about navigating the neighborhoods- because in the last 3 years, we've visited Montréal 4 times. But in any case- Liquid Nutrition is on Rue Drummond- off Blvd Maissonneuve in the Downtown Montréal area. Place is small with a few stools by the window. I'm really not sure if this is like a one-stop-shop where you can also get paninis, wraps or anything like that- I just focused on a Wheatgrass+Ginger shot for hubs and a green juice for me to start my morning. I did notice though some Vegan packaged bars. Liquid has a set menu- but I tailor-made my veggie preferences as well as the shot to take with me. My only complaint was- the guy juiced the celery and kale but then blended the spinach with a bit of water. On top of that he used tongs to pull out but so many Spinach leaves. What the hell??? Service was good- but the juice execution isn't one I'm familiar with and definitely don't like. Bullet-proof? No.

You can add things like ginger shots and immune boosters as well. The price as well as the time to get the drink are the biggest reasons for the 3-star rating. They take a little while to make each drink, as it's freshly prepared, chopped, etc.. perhaps some systems of prep work could move things along a little quicker, but you're in Montreal - hurrying is not too accepted here. Either way - tasty drinks and fresh veggies, but a tad too pricey to enjoy repeatedly.
