My doctor asked them to perform 3 or 4 tests after drawing my blood. Instead of getting the results in 2 or 3 business days I had to wait almost 3 weeks because the website said "in progress" day after day. When I complained to different people I finally got the results and only 1 thing was tested and the rest said "Test not performed" and "systemic failure". Remember to avoid the Quest next to Taco Bell (7880 Telegraph Rd ste d, Ventura). Go to any other Quest but do not go to this one. read more

We had a horrible experience here and also there was a elderly man in the waiting room that needed help signing in and no one would come out to help him so I had to yell for someone and they came out and wee not even able to help him, it was just horrible We will not be back. read more

I finally found a phlebotomist who is kind, gentle and caring. Jessica is very talented and very quickly located my vein. I have challenging veins. They are small, deep and rolling. She knew exactly what to do with my veins and got blood right away on the first try. She's an intuitive phlebotomist! read more

I have never written a negative review before and i don't feel comfortable doing so, This needs to be said because of the nature of this business and how serious it is. When i first arrived, there was an elderly couple there. They had an appointment and she told them the were "not in the system" and turned them away i cannot imagine what it took for them to get there. only to be turned away.. Then it was just us in there ALONE. Prior to coming, I tried to make appointments online to no avail. Each time i made an appointment it would say the time was taken. I tried to call this location during business hours and the mailbox was full. My doctor called into Quest for me to have the bloodwork, so i am in the system. I went in a little before 1pm. I was the only one in there and she was the only one in there, so I videotaped this w my phone. she told me she was "working on paperwork from the patient from 12:45 and had someone coming in at 1:10". You cannot treat people this way. people come in there to find out serious things about their lives. Based on the other reviews here, it seems this woman could care less about anyone.. She should not be there alone. There is no excuse for this woman refusing to see someone who is in the system, who is the only one in there bc of "paperwork from 20 mins" earlier and "another patient coming in in 15 mins". !! When i told her i was here alone and she was laying the exuse of 12:45 patient's paperwork and someone coming in at 1:10 she literally closed the door to act like she was not there and i was not there. The staff can be pleasant, but their corporate policy makers have burdened them with reduced staff during times of maximum profits! Elderly clients (a majority of their business) have difficulty dealing with todays impersonal, detached, profit driven world. Local phone numbers are provided but you only have access to recorded messages that defeat the purpose of extending your life. Quest employs people that are willing to accept a world that is uncaring, unsympathetic, and no social conscious. I go to this quest as they are usually a lot faster than the other location in Ventura. I believe it is purely because far less people come to this one. Staff is nice. They do close earlier than other offices so make sure to check the hours. read more

The staff seems very nice & helpful, if/when you actually get to speak to a human. There is usually no one at the desk (even the lights are just turned off) and their kiosk doesn't seem to be ready for prime time. I just needed to pick up and drop off a specimen ordered by my doctor. Pick up alone took me 30 minutes, dropping it back off took me 45 minutes. My previous visit was for a fasting blood test - finally had to call my doctor to get permission to do a non-fasting one since I couldn't wait until 2pm to eat or drink anything. I'm guessing this location is just hopelessly understaffed. 1) No walk-in's 2) No appointments available for days, early morning appointment are up to a week wait. 3) Kiosk is NOT user friendly, demands a QR Code it won't read (if you have an appointment) 4) If you are just doing something simple, after finding the hidden selections, the kiosk will you a number, but doesn't actually put you in the system, so they don't know you are there. No way would I use this facility if I needed to be someplace on time afterwards. read more

Just tried going here for my first time. I made an appointment via the website a few days ago. I arrived 5 minutes early to my appointment. When I walked in there was no one behind the counter. A lady walked into the desk area, not sure if she is a nurse, or receptionist, but she was wearing scrubs. She throws herself into a chair while at the same time saying "Hi" to me in an exasperated tone. Me: "Hi I have an appointment for..." Her: cutting me off, "Did we text you?!" Me: confused, " Uh, no I have an appointment..." Her: cutting me off again, "Did we text you?!" Me: "Ma'am, this is my first time here, I have an appointment and don't know what to do." very taken aback at this point, so I had a defensive tone in my voice. Her: "Sir, if you're going to get an attitude, we can't help you!" Me: walks out the door. way to make a nervous patient feel at ease. there was no way I was going to trust her to put a needle in my arm. I went home and looked through the confirmation emails that I received when making the appointment, to see if I missed some instructions. Looking for anything about, "we'll text you". This is what I found about texting in the emails: Coming Soon: Wait by Text Wait for your appointment wherever you want by requesting a text alert when it's your turn. A, it says coming soon, and B, it says to request this feature. I did not request any such feature. read more

Worst staff ever!. The women working there saw me standing in the lobby for 10 mins and refused to acknowledge me or ask me if I needed assistance (I was the only person waiting at this time). Patients started to line up behind me after they checked in and she came out to help them, to which the other patients kindly let her know I was ahead of them. She told me since I didn't check in that she couldn't help me then walked away. I didn't know I had to check in just to drop something off as I wasn't getting any tests done. I checked in and then another women came out to get another patient that came in after me, at this point I've been standing in the lobby for 20 mins with no help offered, so I had to be rude back and demand someone help me as I've been waiting longer than everyone. Made an appointment online because I've experienced long wait times at this location. I waited my turn to check in (after an elderly man who took a few minutes to figure out the kiosk). Kiosk told me I was more than 10 mins late, and I was now checked in as a walk-in (according to my watch, I clocked in 3 mins late). There were about 15 people waiting, nobody working the front desk, I was fasting and it was 10:30. So, I left. I do NOT recommend this location. read more

If it is possible to give negative stars then that's what I would give them they are absolutely unprofessional and completely rude. Wow, I am so impressed! Went today at 12:15 noontime after making my appointment online a few days ago. I was greeted by the nicest lady named Pam who helped me resolve an issue I had with my name the way it was entered in their automated system. She was so kind and helpful, patiently helping me understand some of my bloodwork orders ... she was great!! Then I got my blood drawn by Vanessa who actually helped correct a duplication between two separate doctors, which saved me from doing a repeat of tests I already had done! These ladies were both fabulous! Pam and Vanessa, thank you BOTH for exceptional service and a very pleasant experience at Quest on Telegraph Road in Ventura. You girls are awesome! read more

Check in procedure is VERY unclear and the fact that literally no one is at the front desk doesn't help one bit. Had an appointment set a week before and they still didn't get to me until 20 minutes AFTER my time. Terrible customer service and bad experience all around. read more

I went as a walk-in which I realize was a bad idea. But the wait time said 30 minutes which I figured wouldn't be too bad. I would have been ok if it took an hour even, but instead it took an hour for the wait time to go down to 15 minutes, then it jumped back up to 25 minutes so I left and will never go to quest again. read more

My experience as a walk in patient was amazing. They were super friendly, and was able to process a lot of people in a short amount of time. That is so important when you are fasting and you haven't had coffee yet. The Phlebotomist was amazing i didnt feel anything. read more

Love this place! Tanya is fantastic! She makes you feel really comfortable and she also makes it look easy which is amazing. I'm not the easiest to get blood from and I've been there twice to get blood drawn there. Every time, I'm out within 15 min. Thanks for the great service. I suggest making an appointment online. The office on Telegraph Rd is always understaffed. The techs seem to be skilled at the blood draw, but 2 out of 3 times they are rude. They seem to hate their job and they make me feel like I'm bothering them by being there. read more
