Every time I call, I am put on hold for over 20 minutes. When I decide to use their option of leaving a message, no one calls me back. The message says for an urgent phone call. They will call you back within three hours. They also say for a regular message That they will call you by the end of the day. No one called back. Today,24 hours later, someone called me and had no idea why I was calling in the first place. She said I was just informed that you called. I don't know the reason. This is disturbing. Urgent messages need to be replied to within three hours. Or even less. I am still waiting for a phone call back from a supervisor or maybe even my doctor ortho What time? read more

Tried booking an appointment here (having esophagus issues) & after a 30 minute wait the receptionist finally answered & told me they had nothing available until early NEXT YEAR. It's July... I asked if I could walk in & they said yes with no guarantee that I'll be helped... trash. read more

Went to urgent care for cough and fever. This place did an ekg and thought I was having a panic attack. Didn't bother to perform any other testing. Next day I was in the ER, ICU, and eventually intubated and on ecmo. So if you want them to ignore your symptoms and end up near death, this is the place. read more

I went in to get bandages changed one week after foot surgery because I it was starting to cause a problem. The staff, especially the nurses who changed the bandaging, were attentive and.fantastic in taking card of me and made sure that I went home with extra bandaging to last me till my next post op appointment with the surgeon. What a relief to deal with people who take pride in their work. read more

Never again I'm coming to this crooked place. Abusive and xenophobe pricing practices! Im just going to lay out what is happening and you decide if you want to have business with these greedy people. My girlfriend had a swimmers ear after surfing and unfortunately we decided to go to this place to get her a doctor's prescription for anti inflammatory drugs. My girlfriend, my son and I came over and waited for about 45 min to get her seen by the doctor. Since she is visiting in USA and has no insurance I wanted to pay right away but was told not to and wait for the bill which is "not gonna be a lot"... Doctor got her pressure checked put a flashlight in the ear and wrote a prescription. All in all 4-5 minutes. My girlfriend was visiting here she doesn't live in USA and we got a bill for $1100. $1100 to put some flashlight into the ear. $1100 for 5 minutes. This incredible pricing was at no time mentioned to us prior to see g the doctor. How come this is even legal? This is really abusing. Abuse of tourists and visitors really, such a xenophobic politics! We would never go there for $1100!!! They never told me it will be that much. I got 11 stitches on my hand in ER for $400 without insurance! She cant pay that much, so it went to collections. Its developing right now and I will update as it goes. I went here today and had to get an abscess drained in a sensitive area, and the physician I worked with was hands down amazing! The check in process was very smooth, and I didn't wait more than a total of 20 minutes I was in and out with in an hour! Everyone there was super friendly and very professional. They do accept TRICARE and have great working hours as well. Over all had a very positive experience and would go there again if I needed to! read more

Amazing and fast service I came in around 4 to get check out Sat in the car for a few minutes before they call me in. Once called the nurses took my vitals put me in room. Dr. Castaneda was nice and knowledgeable. Suggested to get an X ray the tech Steve was also great friendly and fast. Went back to the room the Doctor came back within minutes. Gave me an explanation answered questions I had. Overall great experience definitely recommend coming here. read more

10-6-19 I'm new to the area and had a bad cough and congestion. I got to the Urgent Care at 11:30am the reception staff were very plesant and efficient I filled out the usual papers and was called back in about 5 minutes. My visit consisted of a chest Xray, an EKG and exam. as well as the reading of the tests. The Doctor listened to my complaint, and explained the plan of recovery. She carefully wrote out how I was to take my medications. Because I'm new to the area she will give me a referral to a new Primary Doctor next week. All the staff were very considerate of me and professional. I now feel I will have a good recovery. My entire visit was 2 hours. I will use this facility for Urgent Care and recommend them to all! read more

Went here on Sunday to get my lungs checked after being sick for over a week. They did a quick check up and sent me on my way with a prescription for over the counter store brand robitussin. Fast forward 3 days later, after seeing my primary doctor for a much better check up, come to find out I have pneumonia and needed to be put on antibiotics and was also prescribed real cough medicine. Not sure if this urgent care clinic knows what they're doing. I think my cats vet takes better care of them than the doctors did with me. read more

I don't have much experience with urgent cares but I came here during the pandemic because it was so hard to get into anywhere else. The staff was amazing! They were very patient and helpful over the phone. When I arrived at their location, the staff tended to me right away and provided me with helpful information and answered all questions. Especially during overwhelming times, this place ran smoothly and helped patients feel comfortable and satisfied. read more

I called ahead to see if they were open and could help me. I knew I'd probably need an ultra sound. "Yes. Come in. We have one on staff. We're open until 7pm." So, I drove out from Thousand Oaks. I arrived around 4:15. When I arrived, they asked me my symptoms in the waiting room. No patient privacy AT ALL! But they needed to know who to notify to best assist me. "Please take a seat. We'll be with you when we can." No worries. I waited for almost 2 hours. Then, they asked for two computer pad signatures, never showing me what I was signing before calling me in to tell me that they couldn't help me. I would need an ultrasound and their ultrasound technician goes home at 4:30. I asked these time wasters not to charge my insurance, but they probably will. I don't imagine they are too concerned with ethics. read more

I give this urgent care a one out of five and it should be a zero. An almost vacant waiting room and waited 2 1/2 hours. As we listened to the office staff joke around. Finally saw a woman doctor who spent 3 minutes with my wife. This was my first and last time to this Urgent Care. I really can't believe a facility that is supposed to help people could be so ridiculously horrible, at what they say they do. Four thumbs down! read more

Front desk was helpful and friendly and so was the nurse assistant.. if you don't have health insurance this place is a good option ..it's not too pricey..and the wait was short..within 40 minutes my whole visit was over I was signed in.. my samples was ready and I had been seen by the Dr.. by the way Dr. Harman is an excellent choice she's friendly..professional and takes her time to answer questions. I just want to greatly thank the medical and clerical staff that assisted me during a recent urgent care mater. The staff were polite, professional and caring. Having my primary care provider being the VA, getting local care is all but impossible. Though I had to pay for the services (without VA assistance) I would recommend this facility to anyone. They seem to have few limitations. read more

The staff at Las Islas are unprofessional, unresponsive and overall useless. I have waited over 8 weeks to receive my disability check. The paperwork Las Islas claimed they submitted via mail and fax to the Employment Disability Department was not received. I've learned more about the policy and procedures at the EDD that perhaps Las Islas could use to help their patients. Considering the physical pain I've been dealing with, adding the financial burden could have been avoided if Las Islas did their due diligence. The disability paperwork to return to work has also been a nightmare. The Human Resources department at my company has received no response from the staff at Las Islas. I would guess there is a 10 to 1 ratio, patient to staff, at this facility. The doctor only comes into the office one day a week to work with patients and complete paperwork. Why would there be a need for such a large staff when paperwork is only processed one day a week by the doctor? What does this office do when the doctor is not in? I would avoid Las Islas and take the drive over to Camarillo or Ventura. Until then I'll be waiting till Tuesday for the doctor to fill out my paperwork. read more

I wanted to take time to write this review not because of one bad experience, but because of unprofessional business practices and undereducated "Nurse practitioners". Went in for flu like symptoms after a week of a viral infection. The Dr. was great. Prescribed me IB Profin because he didn't see signs of a throaty infection.The next two weeks I developed white spots on my swollen throat. At this point I had been sick for almost 4 weeks. Went back in and Nurse Practitioner said she only seen a little white and they really only use antibiotics for people who really need it. Left with nothing but a sore throat. Got the bill in the mail and the clinic charged 256 dollars for a check up and 300 dollars for "other". The other must have been her looking in my throat. This practice is demonic... read more

First off I would like commend the excellent care that Giselle the head nurse and Theresa the lab tech gave my adult daughter who has special needs. After being at a previous appt and getting the run around, Giselle got on the phone and took the bull by the horns and straighten everything out. Theresa the lab tech went out of her way to return after leaving just to do the blood test and take it to ventura. These two women went over and beyond their duties in my eyes!!! I needed to get some medical attention for upper neck pain & thought I'd try this urgent care because it was so close to my house. The staff was very helpful and the doctor took his time to listen and explain what he could do for me. I was happy to hear that he was going to do more for me than just give me pills& send me on my way. He ordered physical therapy & gave me neck exercises to do. I would definitely go back there if I needed more good medical help! read more

Called before actually driving there to make sure I could still be seen, when I arrived I was actually told that it was a possibility that i might not get to be seen that day. After waiting patiently I was the last person in. The doctor was pretty young and she was so much fun. I went in for a bug bite and she completely made me feel like nothing was wrong and i was able to get out of there pretty quickly. The place doesnt look super clean but overall it was a good place to go to especially on a short notice. read more
